Just curious. If you really liked someone and maybe don't confess you feelings would that hurt more in the long term (decades) than getting rejected right there and then?

I am 5'6". Women hardly notice me. If only I was 6 inches taller I would be in a much better spot.

Also to point out, I have NEVER had a real girlfriend.

At almost 28, I am not growing any taller. I was rejected because of my height to a girl who went into marry someone else. My only option is invasive height increasing surgery.

Share me your stories about someone who rejected you because you slightly messed up by being too nice, jealous etc. Then years later she/he reaches out and you've made huge changes, a big improvement. Would you give it a shot?

Recently, I started dating someone new and we have gotten along very well. We started clicking on all levels, built chemistry and then she asked my body count. I said “only 3” and then she started laughing and said “20.” I then sent her a message the following day about deciding to work on myself and she accused me of being misogynistic and hypocritical “typical guy.” Then called me an “a$$hole.” For obviously rejecting her due to having a high body count.

so my question is how soon do you think someone should wait before getting back out there and trying again? Guys go through rejections all the time... and it is very much a numbers game of sorts really. the more you ask out you are likely to get at at least one yes at some point. But i guess some people don't like this? So in that case what would make you feel less like you were just another option somewhere down the line and more of the person they really want to be with? Does that mean you should wait a little bit after asking someone out and getting rejected?

or maybe we should just not mention how many we ask out before dating you? and we just kinda remain blissfully unaware of that?
