Girl's Behavior

Why is she acting so uncomfortable around me but gets close near me. Am I being creepy?

I'm not sure before this she was more talkative around me, she would ask whether I'm going to college and small talk but she would stare at me and it would make me a bit uncomfortable and when I looked at her she looks away. Her friend would also giggle when she walks past me and she wouldn't say anything and she also looked me up and down and looked embarrassed afterwards. Since I couldn't talk to her in real life. I messaged her saying that we should hang out, where she said she didn't see me that way. She can talk to other girls and boys just fine but for example, I was in class she would act extremely uncomfortable and nervous, playing with her hair, moving her clothes in an emphasised manner and she'd even get close to me when I was directly behind her (Invading my personal space but not touching). She also sat on my table even though she could've sat elsewhere. If she finds me 'creepy' or doesn't like me then why would she come close to me at all? And be nervous. I tried to ask her a question but she just turned around quickly and acted like she didn't want to talk. I'm SO confused. She used to talk to me casually but now it's all awkward. If you don't return the feelings to someone, why would you try to physically get close to them, sit on the same table or get nervous and preen? I just don't understand her behaviour after rejecting me. Is she playing hard to get? Shy?
