Is she playing games or just not interested?

I'm extremely confused by her actions. We talked for a bit and hung out but after I asked her out, she rejected it saying, "She doesn't see me that way and had someone else" But was very nice about it and I wished her the best. Although the atmosphere was awkward in our place, she wouldn't ignore me but I'd catch her starring. There was a seating plan and instead of sitting elsewhere in the room she decided she would sit directly opposite me on my table and she'd look noticeably nervous. She'd also want to stand near me instead of anywhere else. Here's the thing though, she'd never want to talk, when I try to talk she'd always turn away and look nervous and she seemed clearly fidgety playing around with her hair and her clothes. She'd also see me in the distance and talk to other dudes when I walk past. I find it irritating to be honest and I'm losing interest fast. Is she running a sleazy scheme or just not interested.

I believe it is a form of test as she is a part in a secondary way…Voyeur. She was likely gauging your ability to converse with others and the table itself. Shy women will often hold the arm of a man, with both their hands while walking, if he is sort of Conversationally Alpha.-That is talks and listens appropriately NOT dominate people. Lead when appropriate as well as blend in when appropriate.

I can converse extremely well with other people even if they're shy. I'd also always help people when they need it. Why do you think she'd be nervous and all that?

Dude.. she is “voyeuring”. She wants to watch until she trusts. Get out of your rigidity. When she trusts you she will talk…You are, in effect, pressuring her the way one of these OCD in all your Business women do. Do it her way or go on to another who is more attracted to your Method. 🙃 just back off…

Sometimes people don't mean what they say, look if you rejected someone or someone rejected you wouldn't you try to avoid them and not lead them on.
