Obviously, it wasn't good in roughly 2008-2009. And obviously thanks to Covid and the responses to it inflation has been real high the last couple of years. But I think between 2010-2020 it was pretty good. What do you think?

During covid times, we were told to wear face masks, it was mandatory in public places, and most of us begrudgingly did what we were told to do. Eventually, that ended, and most of us still have a few masks. . . in a drawer somewhere, just accumulating dust. But I still see some people in public, or driving their cars, and they are wearing a mask.

Are you one of those people? If you still wear a mask, can you explain why?

I'm thinking... this graph is conveying the big picture tensions between governments that is going to define your reality in life. It's going to challenge all of us... our generocity, our beliefs, our ability to communicate and make peace, or war.

A power shift is underway. History is filled with suffering from changes in power. Can we do better than our ancestors? I think it comes down to this...

* People don't like to lose stuff, and they don't like too fast of change...

The country that holds the reserve currency, controls the oceans, makes the decisions... and is wealthy. When power is fading, conflict and tensions rise over the loss of power, conflicts can occur.

That is what the political decisions are about when you vote, choose wisely. Most everything else, is hot air.

* Food/starvation - starving people increased 46 million in 2021...and that's after a bunch died due to covid! Have you planted a garden yet and some berry bushes?

I guarantee it, but hopefully you are able to live a reasonable life in the meantime honorable to humanity.

pretty big party day here although been quiet the last couple years with covid restrictions and bar limits on people allowed in but no rules this year so suspect it will be packed and wild at some of them. its also on a Friday night so that could make it even busier

I feel like I basically got dumber lol. Or feel like im just not as sharp mental wise as i was before i got covid.

Im wondering if anyone else who had it experienced the same after the other main symptoms went away?

I just read up that even those with mild covid symptoms can suffer brain damage. Hoping this isn’t what just happened to me. I guess it mostly affects older folks but i dunno.

I think this is just plain wrong. Doesn’t matter if it’s a hospital, retirement home whatever. That vaccine has caused health problems for many people. There’s no good reason a healthy person should be mandated into taking medicine.

Donald Trump returned to a Conservative Political Action Conference recast in his image Saturday, capping a three-day agenda heavy with adoration for the coup-attempting former president but considerably less-well attended by activists and presidential contenders alike.
Trump, within minutes of taking the stage at the Gaylord National Resort, went into his typical remarks, disparaging the United States as a “filthy communist country” and attacking Democrats and the news media.

“They’re not coming after me. They’re coming after you. I’m just standing in their way,” he said. “We will drive out the globalists. We will kick out the communists.”
And even though dozens of rows in the back remained empty, Trump thanked the fire marshal for letting in so many of his supporters. “Look at all these people. They’re up to the rafters,” he said.
Saturday’s attendance was higher than on the first two days of speakers. Still, the crowd was nevertheless smaller than in previous conferences, particularly the previous two, which were held in Orlando, Florida, to evade stricter COVID-19 restrictions in the Washington area.

Also not attending were most of the potential 2024 Republican contenders. Of the 14 major names either running or considering a run, only three attended CPAC: Trump, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
