Honestly why are there so many ignorant people on this site? I mean someone posts a question & if you disagree with their ideology they harass you?

This site, to my knowledge, is prodominantly used by Americans who bleat about "freedom of speech" like broken records. I say that because I have found whenever you disagree with someone on this site rather than defend their option or debate/comment intelligently they either verbally abuse you, harass you, or make some childish comment that you are "mad" or something along those lines.

Do such people comprehend that they truly are an embarassment to what is America?

Or, as like typical lower-end-of-society Americans (the sort that assault cops screaming about their rights, harass COVID vaccine takers or mask wearers, etc.) is it in their little minds that "freedom of speech" only applies to them & everyone else can get stuffed.

I quite often find that people, in general, feel as though they have to always be right, when sometimes they need to shut-up and just listen to a different perspective.

It's fine if they don't agree with someone, but at least have the decency to hear them out, before you jump all over them. Or,

Maybe not jump down their throat and just agree to disagree.

Little kids need their "safe space" these days. They can't handle other opinions anymore. If you don't agree with them, you're toxic and must be avoided. Seems mostly religion and politics that are too divisive a topic for people. Can't tell you how many times I've seen on facebook "if you vote for Trump, I'm unfriending you" and my fave was a guy who said he's unfriend anyone who said anything bad about Pokemon Go lol. Crazy world now.
