I had a vivid dream where I found out one of my colleagues passed away from natural causes (heart attack, stroke, etc.).

I am not particularly close with this guy. We are cordial for work and my communication is all professional. I’ve only met him once a year ago in person at a company meeting (first time in 3 years). But we are all 100% remote.

He’s just a nice hard working mild mannered guy in his late 50s or early 60s. He doesn’t talk much about his personal life and that’s totally fine with me.

Although I do believe in a “6th sense” to a certain extent I am also not that superstitious. For example I recently found out a relative of mine was a victim in a mass shooting (he is still alive). I had inexplicable insomnia the night the shooting happened prior to getting the news about the shooting the next day. I have had insomnia in the past so maybe it was just a coincidence. But I had gone a few months sleeping totally fine until that particular evening.

Anyway telling my colleague about this could come off as really weird or worse. We rarely have any small talk. I plan not to say anything

But still not saying anything at all and later getting news of something coincidental would really bother me.

Jane Fonda, yes, that’s the Jane Fonda of Hollywood stardom, decided to take the opportunity to travel to a war-torn Vietnam in the 70s and advocate for peace.

While there she met with seven US POWs wheeled out for a meet and greet session with the visiting celebrity.

On shaking their hands, each man secreted her a tiny piece of paper with their name and service number to take home. At the end of the meeting, Jane supposedly turned around and promptly handed over the seven secret notes to the North Vietnamese guards.

There is ample evidence to suggest that this story is as far-fetched as it sounds, including the testimony of the pilots involved. Although this tale has been disproved as a myth, it is a myth that has snowballed overtime and continues to plague Ms Fonda to this day.

It has been perpetuated in part by Vietnam veterans who firmly believe her to be guilty of treason and continued still by those who weren’t even alive when the conflict ended. There remains in some an absolute hatred of the woman whose anti-war stance and vocal disapproval of the conduct of the US government.

Although Fonda's actions in visiting North Vietnam were sufficient to earn her the wrath of many Americans, in the years since those events took place they have been embellished to the point that the one tale most commonly associated with her Vietnam trip is an incident that never took place — a tale about U. S. POWs who furtively slipped messages to Fonda while she was meeting with them and whom Fonda promptly betrayed by turning those messages over to the POWs' North Vietnamese captors (resulting in several of those prisoners' being beaten, tortured, or killed):

So the meeting I had with the investigator for my alleged misconduct didn't go well. Not only did she refuse to address me by my pronouns but also she ended the meeting prematurely because I refused to doxx myself on camera. She already has access to my personal information anyways and govt ID can easily be forged and showing it on camera is very insecure. She told me yesterday that I can just send a written statement defending myself, which I did with the help of ChatGPT.

I've read the code of conduct and the sanction/hearing procedure, and I wonder what will I be punished with? I've already filed a human rights complaint to the government for her refusing to address me by my pronouns (idgaf if it's petty, I'll use the tranny card if forced to) and delaying the investigation until I visit my psychiatrist and receive diagnostic report. I also tried to file one to my school but my associate dean keeps ignoring me and sadly it's up to him to contact the human rights department first. As for next steps going forward, it'll take up to 10 business days for the investigator to finish her investigation and sanction me. For the sanctions, they can be as mild as a warning or support agreement to being as moderate as restrictions or behaviour contract to as severe as suspension and expulsion. I'm accused of sending inappropriate messages over a class Discord server that are allegedly hateful, disruptive, threatening, harassment, discriminatory, etc. Worst I wrote was observations and questions of other people's identity markers.

basically someone or some people in one of my classes snitched on me in the class Discord server. a lot of it is considered to be not politically correct and now the college is investigating me. theyre placing all sorts of ridiculous accusations that you'd expect at a woke school.

I've already been through similar shit before when i was attending university, so I'm already familiar with the whole process. but unlike university, i never resorted to extremely offensive stuff so i think I'll be ok. i am planning to meet with a psychiatrist soon as my family doctor booked an appointment 2 months ago, but i found out only 2 weeks ago of it.

i doubt I'll get expelled or suspended, probably just a harsh warning and them telling me to not do it again. I'm considering to possibly sue the school and/or file a human rights complaint, just to piss them off (i know those won't do much but it's to send a message).
