The way I see it, these rallies are pointless. The men who already know violence against women is wrong don’t need a rally, and the men who don’t care aren’t going to suddenly grow a conscience. Do you honestly think a dumb rally is going to make some guy say, “You know what, they’re right — I shouldn’t beat up women”? Some people are just born the way they are, and there’s nothing you can do about it. Get over it.

Yeah, I know, not the most original question. I have my own beliefs but, believe it or not, I am not going to run my mouth about them here. At least not yet.

Some may say it has no meaning it all. Some may say 8 billion people, 8 billion meanings. All of them right.

Some may say Random is awesome and life needs no other meaning. Ok, no one actually said that but I had to feed my narcissism in here somewhere.

So, do you think you are here for a reason or just a fluke of the universe? Does your life have meaning? Or is it all a Matrix? Are we spiritual beings having a human experience? Or an experiment by God gone wrong? Maybe just primates who crawled out of the primordial ooze to eat bugs out of each others fur and then evolved enough to build Wal-Marts but still do the same thing there?

I’m 23, but people often think I’m 18 or 19. I get why. My face, my body, and how I behave

I don’t mind having a young-looking face, but my body makes me feel like a child. I’m thin (though I have a bit more fat now, so I look “more like a woman”), small waist, medium butt for my weight, and small boobs. I’m petite but not short, I’m 5'5

I’m also not sexy at all. I know I’m not hot. Nothing about how I move, talk, or act feels “sexy"

I also behave younger. The way I speak and my mannerisms, like sitting with my legs swinging if they don’t reach the floor, probably add to that. So I can’t fully blame my appearance

I don’t think I’m ugly; I think I’m pretty (not gorgeous or hot, just pretty). But I don’t feel very “womanly”

I’m not into casual dating or sleeping around. I’ve only been with one guy, and I don’t see more than one person at a time

I just feel like most guys won't take me seriously. The way I approach dating feels kind of “childish”

Could guys keep up? I don’t like bars or alcohol. I prefer coffee shops. And I wouldn’t sleep with anyone until a lot of months have passed

There’s nothing wrong with that, I know, but I can’t help thinking guys see me as not mature enough because of all these things
