So in the light of all the things happening, is comedy going too far? There has been a new idea people are floating around which is comedians should only make jokes about the groups of people they’re apart of.

So black comedians can only make jokes about black people, white comedians with whites, Asians with Asians, LGBTQ with other members, etc etc. ( not even considering the fact some people belong to multiple groups, but this isn’t my idea at all).

I personally don’t think that’s a good idea because then comedy will die in my opinion and since it’s apart of the Arts , it’s something to be protected. I think the art of the attempt should be kept sacred, how we interpret it is another story.

So let’s hear it people! What do you think?

Even though my family members make horrible parents, they insist on having many kids. And while they're disciplining those poor kids, I constantly hear them say things of that nature.

I do see the benefit in simplifying things to children. Especially when they're reacting very emotionally about something. But I believe there's always a reason to feel emotions. 🤔 No matter how silly or absent the reasons seem.

Would you say this to your kid? Do you believe there are any severe longterm harms in saying this? Have you experienced any? What are your thoughts on this?
