For context, my brother has been dating his girlfriend, P, for two years. I absolutely adore P—she’s like the sister I never had. Long before they began dating, however, I met her brother, T. He and I are in the same grade, only about six months apart in age.

I first met T in seventh grade, when he was still a bit of a “geeky” guy. By the middle of eighth grade, I had my first boyfriend and met P for the first time around Thanksgiving. Back in seventh grade, I had a small crush on T, but it was nothing I ever considered acting on.

During freshman year, T and I had science together and started talking occasionally. I began to realize I still liked him. As our siblings grew closer, so did we. Whenever we passed each other in the hallways, we would exchange smiles—he has the cutest dimples when he smiles.

By the end of freshman year, I wanted to ask for his number, but I was too nervous. He was talking to someone at the time, and I didn’t want to overstep boundaries; if I were in that girl’s position, I wouldn’t want him giving out his number to other girls.

I hadn’t seen him for about three months until today, when we had back-to-school night. He was there with a friend, and he smiled at me like no time had passed. Later, he came over to my house because he, my brother, and P were going to the lake. When I saw him, my heart skipped several beats. I tried to keep my cool, distracting myself by making cookies and watching a show.

I don’t know if he’s dating or talking to anyone. If he’s not, I’m wondering if I should ask for his number and get to know him better. Before pursuing anything, I would make sure P was comfortable with it, because the last thing I’d want is to betray her trust or cross a boundary in our friendship.

I was stood outside talking to my male colleague. We were finished for the day and we work in the same office. We were stood by our cars and were having a good laugh and chat. Once, we were sitting together for breakfast at work and my crush gave me a small smile and looked away quickly, whereas normally he would gaze, smile warmly and hold eye contact.

We park by the exit. So basically, at our work there is a one way system you drive through at no more than 10mph. There are various car parks branching off this one way system.

My crush was driving towards me and my colleague and he beeped his horn. He was a fair distance away, like a couple of metres. I looked up and him and gestured to myself. He shook his head and then waved at me. When he got closer to us, I asked him if he was beeping at me. He stopped the car, despite another car being behind him. He was grinning and laughing, saying it was an accident. I could see that his seat was very far back. My male colleague made a joke and my crush briefly glanced at him but stayed staring at me.

An hour or so after this, my crush finally opened and reacted to the reel I sent him a few days prior. I think the timing isn’t coincidental, he opened it shortly after seeing me with my male colleague.

Then a few days after this, I was chatting with my crush and the colleague came into conversation. I said “you know, the one I was chatting to in the car park”

My crush immediately said “oh, where I beeped my horn by accident? That was so embarrassing, I was grabbing my bag” etc etc. and he was grinning but avoiding eye contact. Which to me, confirms that it was on purpose.

I have a huge crush on a guy at work. We have been talking for a while now and he says good morning to me every single day. There are tonnes of things that he has said/done which make it seem obvious that he is into me. However, I’m not great at reading guys. These two separate interactions stand out to me.

He pretended to trip when he walked towards me. I said, “did you just trip?” And he smiled and said “yeah, I almost fell head over heels into you, I’d have knocked out a tooth”. I then said “please don’t do that” and he said “I will next time”

I asked “are you going to fall into me?” And he smiled and nodded enthusiastically.

In my opinion, his choice of wording seems too oddly specific

Then the other day, I jokingly asked him “why do you hate me so much?” Which was clearly a joke. He paused, looked at the floor and said quietly without smiling “I don’t” and then proceeded to grin and tease me.

Do you think he has feelings for me?

Today I dmed my crush (knew he was single) and while talking to told me he leaves with his gal (apparently they got back together) I congratulated him and asked if he has someone nice to set me up with and he answered "calm down (my name)" so I asked him: why should I? You can be in a relationship and I dont? And he hasn't replied. Why does he act like that?
