i'm asking this in the context of the current debates around the ideology that assigning a false gender to someone and affirming it somehow helps them, while caling everyone who disagrees with that ideology a nazi and kanye west releasing a song called "Hail Hitler" and somehow it's ok cause he's a minority? it seems to me that the current public discourse is somehow skewed in this regard. what do you think?

Because god forbid people hate a fascist dictator stripping u all of our rights and ruining the economy etc. hey remember how a bunch of people called people who hated biden as having a mental illness? oh wait that didn't happen? hmmm

group of five Republican state senators from Minnesota is set to introduce a controversial bill that would classify “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS) as a mental illness.

The proposal, scheduled for review by the Minnesota Senate Health and Human Services Committee, argues that the condition is characterized by an “acute onset of paranoia” triggered by the presidencies of Donald Trump.

According to the bill’s text, TDS symptoms include “Trump-induced general hysteria, which produces an inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and signs of psychic pathology in President Donald J. Trump’s behavior.” The legislators further suggest that these symptoms may manifest as intense verbal hostility and even “overt acts of aggression and violence” towards Trump and his supporters.

my honest prediction is this will never pass and is just these politicians wanting attention and think d*ck riding Trump is the way to stay in power. The fact that they felt like this was ok to do is troubling to me. but whatever what do you think?
