I'm not sure if this guy in class likes me back so maybe you can help me figure it out.

A few things to keep in mind

• We sit next to each other, so a lot of what I see is from my peripheral
• We're 17, (I know It says otherwise I thought you had to be 18 and over to sign up so I made it older than I was)
• There was this one time when we were playing trivia in class and I was 1 point ahead of him and I think he was flirting/making banter because he basically said "I'll pay you to lose" or something like that but then after he said that he kept looking at me then down then back up at me and at one point he gazed into my eyes for like a good 5 seconds and I was kinda taken aback and made me a bit nervous.
• Another time we were doing a video project that required us to ask some of our classmates for help so basically he was going around the room asking everyone up else for help filming his video and every time he would sit back down at his desk he would look at me and when I would look at him he would look back at his laptop. When he did finally ask me he seemed a bit red in the face but it was kind of hot in the classroom so it could have been that.
• Sometimes my teacher likes to sit in the same row as us and grade work, so naturally I would ask her questions and when I would he would look at me while I was talking but I only would he look at me he would sort of guess into my eyes sort of dreamy like, (which I think is unnecessary like why are you looking at me right now focus on your work) but anyway

But at the same time I don't think that he likes me that way because sometimes when I talk to him he won't look at me directly : (

If he does like me back what should I do? Should I write him a letter? Should I try to talk to him more, I'm kinda playing hard to get right now.

We both know a guy from work. Two weeks ago we ask him to take his bike for a ride but he said sorry no. After that day I see him everywhere I go at work he is kind when he talks to me. I don’t know much about him but he seems as good guy whatever yesterday we saw that guy outside and my boyfriend was making jokes about beating him and I said stop it he is a good boy. He changed his face and asked how do you know that? He is a good guy huh? We talked little bit about him. I told that we talked the other day and he fixed his bike and he was like he told you that? He didn’t tell me anything. When we finish talking about that guy my boyfriend started asking about other guys like do you know him? Is he a good guy huh? And I was surprised because he told me he’s not jealous but now he was being. I said babe I was just kidding I didn’t even know about that guy until we ask for his bike. He laughed and said yeah I’m joking too but he kept asking about himself like do you know me? I’m great and I replied him oh my god yes you’re perfect and the best. Later on the day we were texting and I don't know how many times he used ‘good’ he was texting you’re good girl etc…I texted him ‘didn’t think you’d resent this much about that guy lol’ he texted me back ‘lol I just found it funny’. Why he is acting like that?

So I was kicked out of a group for exposing a man and people felt that I was “bitter” and called me “crazy” for speaking my truth on this man. It was a very invalidating experience.

Let me be clear on why I’m exposing him…

1. He did not respect my boundaries when it came to having sex and ended trying to use manipulation. I made it clear to him before we exchanged numbers that I wasn’t in a space to have sex or be in a relationship. He kind of wanted to know why etc and he wasn’t pushy.. but he said things he felt I NEEDED to hear… and at first I’m thinking wow maybe he is genuine and understanding. Looking back it was hard to see his “coercive behavior…” to get what he wanted and wanted to gain my trust. Even saying how can I make you feel safe

2. Subtle changes in behavior after telling him that I wanted to take things slow with him and gaslighting.. I did end up liking him and when I said that… that’s when it started taking hours for him to respond and then it went to days… only to get a “sorry really busy”…. But it kept happening and I confronted him and he tried to say that I needed to “heal”….. but it was strange behavior coming from a man who was trying to make me feel “safe” initially…

3. Disrespect… (devalue/discard) everything was cool on the date at first but then he became disrespectful and rude… he started asking when I last had sex, dildos, negging behavior and some insults.

4. Not being honest about his real name even on the date.. I asked him if “Craig” was his real name and he said yes… I get you want to protect yourself but he really did not want to tell me his name and seemed annoyed when I asked. It was very fishy

5. After the “date” i tried finding a “gf”…. Bc i felt like he was talking to someone.. he has no social media presence and keeps things private

6. He is possibly bisexual or closeted based on some things I found
