28F, only thing I know for certain is I have anxiety & my self esteem could be better. But, nothing too terrible that makes me incapable of finding a LTR. I’ve been on and off dating apps for years, I don’t get how they don’t work for me as it’s known women have it easier & people tell me I’m attractive (not just family/friends). I have to use the apps bc I never get approached in person, I get the matches but in the end it just doesn’t work out. The last time I saw someone I was 23 & that only lasted for a few months. It felt like settling & I’ve become even pickier now. I don’t really have that much of a sex drive but that isn’t something a guy can sense right off the bat so I don’t think that’s it. It’s like I wonder if I’m ready to date but ffs I’m almost 30 that’s odd if I’m not. I met up with someone for the first time in almost 2 years last week & I didn’t even stay for the whole time, I left after maybe 15 min bc I wasn’t feeling it (even though chatting went well on the app), I had a long day, wanted to leave before the drinks arrived since I didn’t want him to get charged & most of all I was worried he was gay (by his voice). I usually video chat before but moving fwd that’s non-negotiable. Oddly enough I still don’t think it’s my fault for being single this long, yes I’ve tried counseling/medication & it was a bust. Can an almost 30 yr old woman date while being anxious, insecure, reserved & close to being maybe on the asexual spectrum?

So I just found out that I’m pregnant. My ex and I broke up in January but continued seeing each other for our needs. I have infertility so I didn’t think i would ever get pregnant. When him and i were together for 3 years we tried to have a baby but wasn’t successful even with the help of a dr. I slept with him and only him the last few months. I know he’s the dad. I left him due to him putting his hands on me. I had a black eye and a broken finger. He went to jail for 90 days. We had sex in July 22,23,30 but in August he ghosted me due to me not wanting to be more than friends again. I told him i wanted to be friends and work on ourselves. He couldn’t handle that so he ghosted me. I don’t know if i should tell him or not. He has another baby that’s 3 or 4 years old. His first bm left him and moved to a different state so he hasn’t seen his son since he was a newborn. That’s breaks my heart because i want him to experience everything that he missed but then again why do i care when he put me through hell the whole 4 years we were together. My friends and family agree that i shouldn’t tell him. I feel like once i post the announcement that our friends will tell him and he’ll put two and two together.

Backstory: We’re acquaintances (friends of a friend.), we met at a party in the beginning of the year. He’d been trying to ask me out I had a lot of things happening all at once. Career change and moving figuring out if I’d continue to live in the area or find something back in my hometown. I stayed in the area, he helped me move my mattress. Then we’d been texting pretty much everyday and he’d FaceTime me twice just talking nothing crazy. I had car trouble, that he fixed. I couldn’t pay him he knows I cook so he asked me if that could be his payment. I said yeah. We were hanging out eating, smoked some weed and we both had stuff to get back to.

Current: I found free roller skating at a park and asked if he wanted to go. He said yes and it became a date. We ended up hooking up. We had some technical difficulties and planned for next weekend.

That next weekend, He asked if I still wanted to go to the movies with him, I said yes. Dressed a little fancy and we came back to my place to eat. We watched another movie he really wanted to see b/c he hadn’t seen it. Movie finished at 3am, I asked if he was going home he said he was really tired. I said he can sleep here if he wants he said yeah. Surprise he wasn’t that tired. We tried with the sex again. He thought he was hurting me I assured him he wasn’t. I don’t think he believed me and we just laid there talking for like a half hour and fell asleep. He also left his earring. I didn’t say anything about it though. After we were texting for four days. The responses weren’t dry or sparse everything normal. Then he suddenly stopped.

Should I text him just a simple “Hey, you good?” Or just keep being radio silent? I can at least think of five reasons: He’s not interested. He’s an introvert a social battery thing. Focused on finding a new apartment that I distracted him from twice. He actually wants a girlfriend (not sure why). Or it’s all those reasons. Should I just not say anything and leave him alone?

I've tried to be friends with women many times but it never lasts i dont know why lol. Im ugly as hell so no reason to feel competition.😭

It never works well. I have one male friend I've known almost my whole life that is Asexual and he prefers masculine people if he is gonna be with anyone but he doesn't care for sex. And my other best friend I've known for a few years prefer transwomen and femboys and he thinks im ugly as hell and Im not into him at all😂
