It’s already tax payer money that pays these cops salaries ( might I add that a RIDICULOUS amount gets taken away from us). But the fact that cops lie in wait just to catch someone who is going 10 miles over the limit or to catch someone doing a rolling stop while there’s no other cars in sight is absolutely disgusting. These are not safety measures. They are milking people for money measures. It isn’t just the court that you have to pay, traffic citations will also inevitably come with higher car insurance rates. The whole thing is just one massive scam. I think this is an area of our society that needs some massive overhaul.

I have a genetic condition which shortens my lifespan. Males with my condition burn in the 90s are expected to live 37-45 years. While currently, my health is actually 10% above normal, the clock is ticking as I'm already 26. I feel like it's selfish for me to want a wife and kids when I know I won't be around for the foreseeable future, even if I found someone now. I'd be proceeding, knowing she and the child won't have me around for long, which I consider selfish of me. But I can't help but wonder if maybe a woman can fully understand and accept this. I currently doubt it, since we always think things will be okay, even when they really aren't. Is my desire for love misplaced selfishness?

Ever since I was working age from about 18 in my country, i've always been grateful for the insurance in my superannuation. I don't think it's equivalent to the American or other countries 401(K) or retirement funds earnt from working etc etc : unrelated to the pension.

I'm always grateful that regardless if I'm employed or unemployed, as long as I've got funds in my super, it basically stores for the winter for me, life insurance coverage and disabled insurances coverage. It's something an anxiety prone me is always grateful for, after all, life's unpredictable and dangerous, and as someone with dependents or relatives, it's a peace of mind to me for me. Again not an advice to get such coverage.

Do you have life insurance? Why or why not? How long now? Through employment or retirement fund or? I think I've been insured for over 10 years now.

Even if next year sucks, we've got the biggest things entertainment wise coming out next year which is exciting!
