The news reported 1,000s of supporters turned out in my city for the protest yesterday. I stopped by for a while just for the entertainment, and there were less than 100 protestors. I have no doubt that 7 million number is nowhere near reality.

But regardless, more than 77 million Americans voted for Trump last year, the second highest in US history. Even if the 7 million no kings protestor number was accurate, it's still a tiny fraction of the number of actual Trump supporters.

Trump won every single one of the swing states (7-0).

Trump almost won the blue/blue leaning states of New Hampshire, New Jersey, Virginia, Minnesota, and New Mexico. Except for New Hampshire, Clinton in 2016 and Biden in 2020 won all of those states easily.

The only state that Harris was projected to win and won convincingly was California, which actually accounted for over 13% of her nationwide vote count.

So yes, the 2024 presidential election was indeed a landslide victory for Trump.
