I like her, I think she will be very good for Japan. In many ways I think she is an example of what it will take to get the first female president elected in the US yet. No major female candidate who met the requirements of the Democrat establishment has been acceptable to American voters. It's not about sexism like the feminists would have us believe. It's about having the right stuff. Americans will gladly elect a female president when one with the right stuff comes along.

To your point, it's extremely hypocritical of feminists to not celebrate Takaichi's historical election. It's an example of why feminism has sunk so low in terms of support. They have little or no relevance anymore. Or perhaps more to the point, their ideology has no relevance.
