Name me the female President, I'll tell you if I would want one. The gender mattering less than what the gender has going on inside his or her head.

Give me an American version of Lady Margaret Thatcher, and I would take her in a heartbeat. Knows her own mind, extremely hard working, utterly disdainful of can't and the "flower power" lingo of her time. In no doubt of what is right and what is wrong and not being at all afraid to express it.

While I cannot say that I shared her views in every detail, and while her lack of tact and diplomacy was sometimes her own worst enemy, she was 1 in a million. She spoke her mind and was not only not afraid to tell you what she thinks, she would sometimes tell you what you thought too.

This is in contrast to the shrill Senator Warren or the drippy Senator Harris - the latter of whom, when serving as California's AG, did her best impression of being Margaret Thatcher until it became inconvenient. Both women affect to be principled but are as trendy and superficial as any high school sophomore.

In a better time, these two women would not have been taken seriously. Warren, who has careened from one party to the other and panders to the most base instincts of envy and resentment. Harris, of whom it can be fairly said - paraphrasing a line from a British play - "I'm a woman of no convictions at least I think I am."

There are and have been some seriously impressive women who might have been superb Presidents. Most recently the likes of Condelezza Rice and - arguably - Nikki Haley. Senator Klobuchar also has something to be said for her. However, for the most part, it is the curse of a populist age that it tends to elevate the shrill and the superficial in place of the principled and the intellectual.

Thus, the current spate of candidates - Klobuchar excepted. Tinny, brittle, artificial and singularly unimpressive. The problem then being not their gender but their character.

It is not a question of wanting a female President. It is rather a problem of getting the right female President.

Why do you care?
I mean why are you keeping count that it is even worth talking about?
There are tons of women leaders and women have really only gotten more involved in politics over the last few decades. The Philippines, Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May in England, Merkel in Germany, the USA has had a few female candidates. Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 on the ticket, Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, that wacko that is VP now. A woman will be one at some point.

Who cares?

Does their platform and goals for the country, the direction they want to take the country not matter?

You just care what genital is between their legs. Since gender doesn't even exist for many and you can just declare you are a man or woman any time you want then it would seem this would matter EVEN LESS... but yet... many really keep score about stuff like this.

Everyone is running around with urgent press releases..."this is the first (insert group identity) to ever be (insert some job/title). Who cares? Who is constantly keeping score of all of this stuff? Why are you guys obsessed with it? The bottom line... fewer women run for political office. Their total numbers will always be less because more men go into this field... just like more men are interested in science and building things and cars and such. The numbers will never be exactly the same... why are we keeping score?

women think emotionally and not with logic and facts they will always choose the thing that makes them popular and feel good not the thing that is right also scientific studies have shown that women will generally side with the opinion of the group and not with what they actually think is correct,

They did this study where they asked single women and single men to join a group and pick which straw they thought was the longest,

the group was made up of actors which where told to point to the shortest straw but say it was the longest,

almost all the single men who joined the group of actors told the group that they where wrong and that the straw they where pointing to was the shortest meanwhile all the single women accept for one buckled under the pressure of the group and said that the shortest straw was the longest.

As a women I would also be embarrassed for my country to be lead by a women it is very effeminate and weak looking as a nation.

A man (except idiot Biden) is better to rely on, especially during wartime decisions. DeSantis would be a great choice. Guys will certainly trust a woman to run an entire household like clockwork, with finances, budgets, children, education, morality, yet doing bigger is somehow out of the realm of their capabilities. I wonder why?

Because MEN say they're incapable? Imagine that.. a man saying a woman is incapable of doing a job. I'd like to see them juggle, full time, the things a woman does to keep a household, husband and 2.3 kids lives running smoothly.

Gender is irrelevant to me, as long as they're sane and not SUPER corrupt (because let's be honest, anyone running for president is going to be somewhat corrupt). And with that said, if I had my way, then Tulsi Gabbard would've won the 2020 Presidential Election. But she's too sane and logical; she never stood a chance.

I don’t have an opinion about it. I think the presidents gender is completely irrelevant. What matters is their politics. If someone has the right politics (in my opinion) then I’d vote for them no matter if they’re male, female, white, black, yellow or blue. I really don’g give a f. Having lived for 16 years under a female chancellour which is at least in some rights comparable to a president I would say that there wouldn´t be much of a difference after some time.
Because look at Hillary Clinton or Theresa May for example, being in politics changes a person after some times and I´m therefore not sure if Americas change when Americas will vote for a female president. It´s the system that oftentimes that lies in the shadows that often dictates politics that´s built on certain traditions not on the laws or the constitution.

What difference would it make? A candidate cannot be elected unless approved by our masters; probably the international bankers that own the federal reserve. Once elected, if they don't want to risk being killed, they are given certain liberties, but for all thing of major importance to our masters, they will obey our masters. Although his supporters claim he was different, that also applied to Trump because all his appointees, including his appointees to the supreme court were statists. Tulsi best choice I see, she got my support because she makes a lot of sense and understands military... I voted for her in primary, she only got 3% or so. She could do the job and I'd throw the existing admin out and put her in if was possible.

Just look at Kathleen Blanco and the Katrina disaster, or Angela Merkle in Germany. Women suck at Executive positions.
