What do we think of Liz Truss (potentially the new UK PM next month)?

So the ruling UK Conservative party has finally got bored of their blonde PM (Boris Johnson) and decided to choose a new leader.

They're deciding between our ex chancellor Rishi Sunak, or the current Home Secretary Liz Truss.

Since I've seen quite a bit about Rishi (and enjoyed his tax regime) but not much about Liz - and she seems to be winning - I've tailored the question accordingly.

The Tory party is fucked and isn't going to win the next election. Putting these two idiots in front is their way of avoiding the blame of what 12 years of Tory fuckup government has caused.

Thanks. That's what I hear but she has a couple of years to try to turn it around.
Does it fill you with joy that the Labour party may return to power or is it that they cannot be any worse than the Conservatives?

Don't like her, she's pushing for tax cuts but not saying what she's going to cut to pay for them. No doubt the most vulnerable will be hit to line the pockets of her rich friends. When much of the uks services have been cut to the bone already it's not a good sign.
We need someone who can rebuild the country and establish better trade links not soundbites and going cap in hand grovelling for crap trade deals with China.

Truss is the continuity candidate. She was loyal to Boris Johnson and is pledging to take the country down the same political dead end. However it's largely irrelevant to me which Conservative lump of flesh takes over as PM because they're all equally malign and/or useless.
