I'm sorry, but how do you expect anyone to take you seriously? You are by far the most passive-aggressive person I've seen in a long time. Always the same with you overtly religious types. You claim to be nice, but deep down, you're absolutely rotten, and it seeps through in the form of passive-aggressiveness.

its gonna slowly make or society worse they don't believe in GOD so they wanna do what ever they want than kids are slowly gonna pick the idea up and think its okay when it isn't i don't like it and never will
Why should your god dictate what I can do with my life? I don't life my life after some rules, a fictional character wants me to live after. I don't need the fear of hell, to be a good persona and have morals. You can believe in God if you want, but you sure as hell can't make me do the same. Mind your own business.
that's not the point, the point is this planet got here some how, its spinning at 1000 miles an hour and some how staying in place, GOD made this planet and he decides whats wrong and whats right, people can say whatever they want, but the fact that he exist makes ever other voice invalid except his, HE'S GOD HE MAKES THE RULES
if you got another answer for how all this got here than let me know and it better not be dumb
If you want me to actually see your answers, you need to @mention my name. God didn't create this planet, the big bang did. This planet is just one in billions, our very existence simply comes down to having the right environment for life to form, "God" had nothing to do with it. It's not weird, it's science. Unless you have actually spoken to god yourself, then you really don't know what he think is right and wrong. I don't believe in God, I believe in science and facts, but I am a bigger more loving person than you, so in a way I am a better Christian than you will ever be, and I am an atheist. That's sad.
You ask me for an answer that isn't dumb, but yet your answer is on the same level, as a brainwashed 2nd grader, who's religious nuts to parents have left him delusional and ignorant.
SO YOU BELIEVE A RANDOM EXPLOSION, WHEN THERE WAS NOTHING IN EXISTENCE CREATED ALL THIS RANDOMLY
SO YOU BELIEVE A RANDOM EXPLOSION CREATED 1) TIME 2) SPACE 3) AND MATTER ALL AT THE SAME TIME
NOW FIRST? WHERE DID THE ENERGY COME FROM FOR THE EXPLOSION TOO HAPPEN NOW ON TOP OF THAT THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE RANDOM, YET US HUMAN HAVE PUT ENERGY INTO PLENTY OF THINGS AND LITERALLY CREATE NOTHING, BUT WE DESTROY PLENTY
Give caps lock a break, big letters won't make your point more valid. A "random" explosion created our earth yes, but we aren't the center of the universe, we just got here by chance or coincidence.
1) No, time was already there. 2) If by space you our earth, then yes. If you mean the space, then it was already there too. Whitout space there is nothing, and having nothing is impossible. So it was never not there. At least that is what I think, but I am not a scientist. 3) Matter as in us, took billions of years for evolution to create.
Where did the energy come from? I don't know, as I said, I am not a scientist, but it could have been a number of things. Where did your god come from? Surely he didn't just pop up. Humans are like pest to the earth, but we are only destroying it for us selves. The earth will adapt and survive until a random explosion eliminates us, or until the sun dies. We are here on borrowed time, like everything else in the universe.
well for one you're 17, so I'm more than sure you have barely any knowledge on this subject cause you're still in school
and yes they quote time space and matter appeared all in that moment and they believe it go study you'll see all the flaws in so many of the theories that they have
Well, we will have new battles ahead: marriages of three or more people at the same time, marriage with minors, marriage with animals, etc. It never ends, and I think we can see where it will lead in the end.
Which one? Most of the cases I see are from christian bakers, not christian bakeries. This has nothing to do with religious freedom. It has to do with the bakery's policy. If you don't want to make those types of cakes, then you've should've known that this was allowed there before applying for a job at the bakery in the first place. Simple.
Some people believe that homosexuality is wrong in the eyes of God. In the west, the gays are getting married which is wrong as it is a sacrament and holy. ISIS recently threw gays off of a rooftop in front of a crowd. ISIS will not accept gays. Since no one in te west is stopping them then some people will support ISIS and otehr groups who will stop them.
They have already infringed on religious liberty, termendously. This will just be more. As people get frustrated, they will turn to ISIS like organizations. Eventually people will do something about it.
You will have to talk to ISIS. By the way, who will stop them? Atheists who know this is their only life? Gays? Will they fight? Are there enough of them? Feminists? Hmmm. I wonder who will fight them, because as an ex-soldier who sees the world taking values that I dont agree with it sure won't be me or my type. My type was the guy who did fight the wars, but not this one. Good luck with that.
@takeowner If a same-sex couple is legally married in state A, and then moves to state B which does not permit SSM, then yes there can be severe legal consequences at death as state B doesn't have to recognize the marriage as legal. There could be other complications as well.
I don't think you have the right to even use the name of God, Im sure he does not agree with your bigoted, hateful, narrow-minded point of view. I thought your god were a god of love, not a hateful bastard as you Christians are making him into, only so you can use him to justify your hate and ignorance.
Did I say gays don't have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? No Did I say that they deserve to die and burn in hell? No Did I say that they are beyond saving and redemption through the God I believe in? No
I merely do not agree with their lifestyle, in fact I find it perverse and harmful. They pursue a relationship that defies the very natural order of us as humans. Srx is the fruition of love and procreation of new life, a homosexual marriage only fulfills one of these conditions.
Gay marriage is allowed by several states through civil unions, fine, but the government has no right to push a sexually liberal agenda. I guatentee you, down the road, pedopholia and other forms of sexual desires deemed taboo and for good reason deemed so will be soon acceptable.
For someone preaching tolerance, you are very intolerant and hateful simply because I choose yo follow my religious beliefs and morals which contradict your own
For the record, if you read the bible literally, which I don't, especially the old testament, as the teachings of Jesus overwrite many of those archaic laws, god flooded the earth to start over (story of Noah, story of Gilgamesh by Babylonian folklore) as he grew tired of mans constant sin, despite his attempts to forgive them. The cities of Sodom and gamorah were destroyed (again folklore)
Jesus never said "it's OK that you have sinned and continue to sin, I still love you and you are saved" instead look at what he told a prostitue that he met at a well. He told her "go and sin no more"
No one is beyond redemption and salvation, but some kind of effort for repentance must be shown. I have my own demons and evils like anyone else, and I constantly ask for forgiveness and help to combat them
Anyone who can compare two consenting adults love for each other, to monsters who molest and harm children in the worst possible way, is not even worthy of the air they breathe, you sicken me. Pedophilia is not just a sexual desire, it is a horrible, sick crime and it will never be legal, just like murder won't. You're ignorance is is too much. You ask me to tolerate you when you don't tolerate others, that will not happen.
I'll let you reflect on what you just said, and then get back to me.
I do not support gay marriage, or endorse the gay lifestyle, but as humans they are entitled to same life and pursuit of happiness. I do not wish them I'll intent, I do not wish them harm, I do not wish them death. My neighbors are lesbians and I treat them as any other neighbor.
I just don't support them.
You wish death upon me merely because I am against a lifestyle and choice I find unnatural and disturbing. Who is the ignorant one? Who is the intolerant one here?

@Afrochick Oh brave, you blocked me. What's the matter, can't handle a reply? Poor you, I'll be nice.

Nothing will happen. I promise you it'll have absolutely no impact on my life.
Let them eat cake.
Tell that to Melissa Klein.
No, fuck whoever that is. I don't care about her either.
Melissa Klein is the poor helpless bigot who got fined for turning away a gay couple from her bakery because they wanted a cake for their wedding.
Why didn't they find a different cake maker then?
Because they wanted to change things by making them see what happens if you discriminate against people on arbitrary terms, of course.
Or promote a bias agenda.
Or nothing will happen just like when they decided to allow interracial marriage half a century ago.
But THAT's when the slippery slope started! Look what we have now.. gays wanting to marry each other! 😱
Well, we will have new battles ahead: marriages of three or more people at the same time, marriage with minors, marriage with animals, etc. It never ends, and I think we can see where it will lead in the end.
I'll just shrugg and keep not caring doesn't effect me.
I don't get it. What exactly are you trying to say in summary?
I have a concern about this event, potentially infringing on religious liberty.
I apologize for the grammar hiccups and typos... I was frantically typing this.
I'm also stating the consequences resulting in the issue.
Take Owner
How could someone else's marriage infringe on your liberty to follow the religious cult you want to follow?
Allowing gay marriage doesn't infringe on religious freedom. Is there an actual reason? I want to hear that instead.
Look up the Christian Baker Cases.
I should not be forced to do something, which I still find offensive.
Which one? Most of the cases I see are from christian bakers, not christian bakeries. This has nothing to do with religious freedom. It has to do with the bakery's policy. Didn't read it cuz it's long but I don't need an explanation to know I support gay marriage
They would finally enter the 21st century.
Instead of being stuck in like 120 BC or whatever era Christianity is from
Christianity is from A. D 30. Christianity has always been very influential and intelligent.
Influential, definitely.
I think ISIS will gain more support.
Why do you say that?
Some people believe that homosexuality is wrong in the eyes of God. In the west, the gays are getting married which is wrong as it is a sacrament and holy. ISIS recently threw gays off of a rooftop in front of a crowd. ISIS will not accept gays. Since no one in te west is stopping them then some people will support ISIS and otehr groups who will stop them.
I don't care about anyone being gay, I care about how this might infringe religious liberty.
They have already infringed on religious liberty, termendously. This will just be more. As people get frustrated, they will turn to ISIS like organizations. Eventually people will do something about it.
"which is wrong"
To you.
No, wrong os wrong, not this wrong from my perspective or such crap... there is in fact right from wrong.
Okay, then what is an objective reason that being gay is wrong, other than that God says so?
You will have to talk to ISIS. By the way, who will stop them? Atheists who know this is their only life? Gays? Will they fight? Are there enough of them? Feminists? Hmmm. I wonder who will fight them, because as an ex-soldier who sees the world taking values that I dont agree with it sure won't be me or my type. You're that Christian nut who believes in gays not being able to marry. Not cool
I thought they could already play house without a license. That's why I'm against it.
Nope, legally, because of money, they can't. Gay marriage, the only reason it's not legal in all 50 states yet is--money
Where did you get that idea from?
It's the only reason why. Other countries have legalized it, some states have. The only reason why others haven't--is money
So because of money all premarital be fits are null?
@takeowner
If a same-sex couple is legally married in state A, and then moves to state B which does not permit SSM, then yes there can be severe legal consequences at death as state B doesn't have to recognize the marriage as legal. There could be other complications as well.
I appauld you for writing this. Every issue you raise is valid. God bless
Thanks. Sorry about the typos, though.
I had some grammer hiccups.
No worries, you got the message across.
Woops.. sorry I mean to vote up. :)
@thegingersnap16
I'm used to being down voted on issues like these :p
You wonder who is putting you down?
Obviously libertards who think personal responsibility, accountability, and modesty are forms of oppression brought on on by the patriarchy -_-
*sigh*
Nah, I don't believe that. I just want a better seat at the barbecue in hell :)
I don't think you have the right to even use the name of God, Im sure he does not agree with your bigoted, hateful, narrow-minded point of view. More marriages. More adoptions. The end.
Nice take :)
Thanks, but everyone else disagrees.
this country will go even more down the drain
I don't give a fuck.
Than why comment?
