I would like to say that the definition you put up for Feminism is wrong. Feminism is a belief in womens rights. Simply put. This does NOT mean that you can't believe in mens rights as well.

I was not a feminist in my earlier years , but now after observing the realities and the injustices committed by men against women I have become a big feminist!

Men objectify women and use them. Rapists are also mostly men. And then they have the audacity of labelling women as "sluts" and "whores" while no such labels are generally used for men! Infact in most cases such men are admired even. I never said that men dont face injustices, but their frequency is far less than those faced by women!

Correction: Feminism is about women's issues. It's nothing to do with being equal to men.

If the genders become equal then women still have more power.
    SEXUAL power.
    And that ain't fair.

How do they have sexual power? The only way someone can have sexual power is if you give it to them. Then it would be your own fault for giving them that power.

SEXUAL power is defined by being able to sleep with most men at the snap of a finger.
Most men have to work hard to get laid.
      Women do not.

70% of guys would sleep with a woman who asked them for sex in the street.
0% of women would sleep with a guy who asked them for sex in the street.

      Case in point.

There is more to life than sex, although I do understand what you are saying. I's not easy to simply see everybody else having the blast of a life time, when you are sitting at the back alone unwanted and perceived as unattractive.
It's normal to feel like that, it's not in our nature to be satisfied being the bottom.

The link you posted doesn't deal with genders, but how people feel.

Gender is about chromosomes (XX for males and XY for females), then of course you have a lot of syndrome for each combination of abnormal number of sex chromosomes.

But you still have only two genders and a butch of syndromes.

@Jonwhilkins the dictionary definition of "equality for men and women" is never actually practiced. Name me one* thing feminism has done for men.

@Maverickj It helped in getting rid of gross practice in our culture, that helps me as well.

The definition is practiced academically, which is where I got it from, to what extent I do not know, but I wasn't reading women's studies. I don't feel like I'm losing anything in particular as a man by advocating feminism, that I didn't really need in the first place. Isn't it better that somebody gets help rather than nobody at all? Should we stop advocating feminism just because it isn't helping us? or rather you?

@Jonwhilkins sorry, but you'll need to be more specific than "getting rid of gross practice". It's a meaningless answer, just like "getting rid of toxic masculinity".

Men and women both suffer serious discrimination. Therefore, a movement which is actually about equality would focus on both men and women's issues. Yet only women's issues get any attention, and men's issues are being *actively* suppressed by these so-called "feminists". CAFE has been banned from Toronto Pride, and male rape victims can no longer receive any help in the UK due to the funding being removed.

Now often people will dismiss these people as "not real feminists", but they never actually speak out against it or anything.

@Maverickj You're right, forget that first line, that was garbage. It was a joke first and then I ended up taking out the part where I said "jokes aside" I was realizing I was getting defensive and that was wrong.

I think that's a great idea, but now you're generalizing and bashing these "feminists" you've put in quotation marks. I've never personally experienced a "feminist" who was trying to suppress my rights for concern which could be because I've simply never been exposed to it but then it's just as you said, "people don't speak out against it or anything" when it comes to redefining this group of people you're concerned about, you are or could speak out against it right now, I mean that's sort of what we're doing right now wouldn't you say?

Im not going to pity-punish these "feminists" because if they do some good and some bad, I'm only in support of whatever good that they've done.

"You realise that feminism (not feminazism) is the very reason why you can own stuff, or vote or work?"

Yes, they did good in the past, but that is no reason to support 40% female representation on boards for private companies, enforced by law - and yet that is one the modern feminist agendas.
Today feminism is about power, placing more women in position of power and influences by discriminating men - affirmative action for women, so to speak.
Positive discrimination for women, is the same as negative discrimination for men, and that is the core of the issues. Discrimination is always bad, no-matter of it's men or women, we should have have the SAME rights with no discrimination AT ALL.
