Races should not be mixed. It is natural to prefer people of your own race. Moreover, if you have children with a person of another race, your children may not even resemble you and they may have identity issues. There are many potential problems with race mixing and absolutely no benefits.

Yes, but I am just saying that for parents it is usually pleasurable to see that their children resemble themselves. I really think that the best thing is to keep it simple.

It's natural to find people who are physically similar in some ways but different in others attractive. This is how we avoided in breeding for millennia. The specifics of how that works for individuals can vary, but if people didn't find those of other races attractive, they wouldn't have sex with them. They do, so it's 'natural' for them to do so.

As for problems vs. benefits, from a health standpoint, there are advantages, period, since many recessive genetic disorders (CF, sickle cell anemia) are tied to certain ethnic groups, mixed kids are less likely to suffer from them.

If you want to stick to scandinavian women, fine, but it's natural and healthy to mix.

Every time in human history that groups have been living together, they've mixed to the point there's no clear distinction between groups.

The kind of idiot that doesn't care what their kids resemble? It has never once crossed my mind as something I want from a child, it has never once been brought up in conversation with my friends who are parents.

Besides, why wouldn't your child look like you? It would as much like you as any other being with half your DNA in it. You would be upset because your child had darker or lighter skin than you and features of the mother?

@0112358 Iceland is a very closed and small society, but it has more than enough genetic diversity to avoid any diseases. Inbreeding is not a potential problem today. However, race mixing can cause all kinds of problems. Finally, it destroys races and creates a mess in terms of identity. People these days seem to think that identity is created out of thin air. It's not. It rests upon knowing your heritage, and seeing yourself in a long, unbroken chain that goes back centuries.

LOL! You have no clue what your talking about do you. Some mix people having identity issues have nothing to do with race mixing being inherently bad, and all to do with humans being an ignorant and judgmental species. If Europeans from over 3 centuries ago didn't try to make it a mission of theirs to categorize the human species (which is already a sub-species of primates) into multiple sub-sub-species based entirely on skin complexion and physical attributes then these mixed kids you speak of wouldn't be having these "identity issues" because they wouldn't be having those feelings that they might be left out.

All the issues you mention about why mixing race is bad has more to do with social/cultural/traditional issues and nothing to do with biology or natural reasoning.

Mulatto here, coming in to let you know that some of us do look like or parents. I am a spitting image of my father (everyone says so, including us) and I have many noticeable features from my mother as well. Identity issue is a thing, yes, but that's only so because we live in a country that centers around homogeneous races. If we cared a little bit less and crossed cultures more then it would cease to be a problem đŸ˜•

@squidneyy Yes, but on the whole, it is much simpler to have a single-race family. Identity is important. I think the political elites are afraid of our identity, and that is why they want everyone to listen to MTV, mix it up and forget who they are and where they come from. A person who has no roots hasn't got that much to fight for and is more easily manipulated. You know how Bilbo in LOTR says: There's always been a Baggins under the Hill... and there always will be? I think heritage is important, it gives your life so much meaning and gives you the strength to resist whoever tries to ruin it for you. Also, I think you can only truly respect other people if you respect your own.

I always felt that a preference was a "type" race only perhaps contributing to it? It's not racist to be attracted particularly to those with certain physical features including skin color. Doesn't this also have to do with subconscious drive to procreate with those whom we may make healthier offspring with? We know inbreeding is unhealthy for humans so intermixing may help dilute genetic illnesses confined to certain races.

I don't know why I'm so weird I don't have any racial preference lmao. Australians are hot as fuck? bc my boyfriend is an Australian. lmao. Race preference is not being racist. it's just that you're attracted to a certain race and you prefer to date that race. Racism is like saying something mean about that particular race. Like go back to your country you chinks. I find racism so stupid. lol

"One the other hand, racism is when a particular race think that its superior to any other races."
    WRONG

Hey, I don't think I am superior to you but I just don't give jobs to blacks. This must not be racism under your definition. Racism is an IRRATIONAL bias towards one race. Now being black has nothing to do with how good you perform in your job, so that's an IRRATIONAL bias. That's why this example is an example of racism.

On the other hand, why would one want to date someone? To make him/her boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife. So does being black mean one would not make a good bf/gf? No, so it's an IRRATIONAL bias.
And hence, racial preference while dating, is RACISM.

No , you fail to understand the point, you are not giving jobs to them not because they are black, it's because they are non-white. You have a prejudice , doesn't necessarily mean you think you are superior. I have a prejudice that women betray a lot, doesn't make me a misogynist.
Secondly , my point is not based on superiority / inferiority. You didn't even care to comment on my point. So on what basis are you telling me to ''try again'' ?

I've given the following answer a lot here on this site: I am not attracted to dark/tanned skin. I don't even find tanned white guys attractive. I am attracted to fair-pale skin, dark brown to black straight hair, and light colored eyes. Do you know of any race with predominantly pale skin, straight black hair, and blue or green eyes? That was a rhetorical question.

These people who believe that racial preference is racism have been infected by the pc nonsense you hear today about racial issues, all this crap about 'microaggressions' and 'white privilege.' The funny thing is, you don't hear anyone complaining about black women not wanting to date non-black men being racism. People date and fuck who they want, end of story.

Actually 'black women' not wanting to date 'non-black men' is the same as people who only date 'whites.' If you also ask many of them it normally comes from stereotypes as well. "(insert race) don't date black women" "Asian men can't 'handle me" "white men are too feminine" "It's going to be awkward" etc. Anyone can be racist.

I dont think wanting to date someone who is as similar as you as possible (ie. can relate to social situation, problems faced by your race, positives that come with your race, and overall cultural sameness) is in any way the racist, its not racist for wantimg someone who can relate and is similar to urself, its only racist if you also date outside your race but then refuse to date people soley on their race but you date other races in rhe meantime.

If preferring a certain race is racist, then preferring the opposite sex is sexist, but that's not how it works which is what you described.

Terrible analogy. Race and sex are in no way similar categories. Sex is based on genetics and very obvious physical differences. Race classifies people based on what is convenient; not a scientific way of categorizing humans.

Okay. If preferring certain physical features of someone is 'featurist,' then preferring a certain sex of someone is sexist. That's the best possible revision I can come up with, but the original point remains the same.

If you have a preference of race at all, you are a racist. Believe it or not if you have a preference against a race because you don't find them attractive I'd say you're far less racist than just dating a black guy because you've fetishized black men.
