Yes I am very sorry for France
I am also sad because the weekend before this young girl's wedding her father and 18 year old brother were killed so she had to call off ger wedding.
Yes I am also sad that a year ago my cousin whom I never met was killed by meatcleavers and guns.
Yea I am sad that two parents were shot and killed in front of their four children and no-one heard
I am also broken that a 13 year old boy who was riding his bike was stabbed multiple times just for the crime of being a Jew
I am sad when anyone of us killed all. lives matter. life does not know a color religion or race. I pray that comfort should be given to ALL of the victims emotional as well as physical healing
From an Israeli I reach out to France and I say we know your pain all too well. We have been here multiple times
I don't see why the French people are more important than the people in the middle east. There used to be suicide bombings in Baghdad all the time that were just as devastating and they'd usually be a footnote.
Again, I agree with this, and Bruce bender saying he lost respect for any Muslim that thinks like that,
What about some one like me, a Christian from the US
I feel bad for france and all, but I remember when 9/11 happened and nobody was doing this kind of stuff with the flag of the United States. And 9/11 was like 10 times worse than this. In fact the only thing happening was the burning of the American flag, so I don't know why the hell everyone is doing this for the french specifically. Also, nobody was doing this with the English flag on 7/7 after the subway bombings, so this is ridiculous.
Completely different time period where slacktivism and social media trends didn't exist.
@Nuqood So? The point is that no one in the world did anything really and nobody gave a shit except for people in the US. I'd still expect to see this kind of stuff being shown by CNN in 2001; i'd expect them to be like wow look at our allies giving us this support. Its not like the did this stuff so it could be shown on facebook. You know what we did see though? Flag burnings in piss poor countries. Clearly social media was not required for that so your point is moot.
Actually, after 9/11 the French unravelled a giant American flag by the Eiffel tower in a show of support and many European countries played our national anthem and such.
Canada cancelled all of their flights to allow for the majority of the planes to ground and then the citizens took the American citizens into their homes until they felt safe to return. If that isn't worth a fucking flag being flown in honour of your towers being knocked down, then I guess the problem is with you.
@Nuqood Obviously Canada grounded flights. People were worried about another hijacking so that's to be expected. What, you think they were just going to be like, ok lets continue the status quo despite one of the worst terrorist attacks ever in North America. They would be stupid if they didn't ground flights. Also most American citizens got a hotel for a few days, so I don't think that was worth that much.
@boywithpinkhair
Yeah there was some sporadic support. But now pretty much every monument in every country is covered with the colors of the french flag in addition to their anthem being played constantly in almost every modernized country. Yeah the french put a flag on the floor nearish to the eifel tower but its not like they put the flag on the eifel tower. I mean putting a small flag on the floor for half a day is hardly equivalent. So question: was the US flag on all of these monuments? Not at all.
to say no one gave a shit about 9/11 is a bit ridiculous. Pretty much the whole world showed quite vocal solidarity towards the U. S.
@Watermelonoma not even remotely close to how much the world is supporting france atm. I mean England and the US did not receive flags on every monument plus days of mourning everywhere plus national anthems being played constantly. The got some national anthems and a little bit of support. Seriously, I mean this monument coloration reflects substantially more support and nothing like that has happened for a terrorist attack before.
dude.. why are you so focused on the flag thing? Perhaps 9/11 happened too long ago for you to remember, but you had virtually the whole western world showing signs of solidarity. You had french papers posting on their front pages "We are all americans", Thousands of people gathering in town squares across the EU in a sign of solidarity towards Americans. Saudi arabia offered to provide financial aid to the victims... Even in fricken Iran, a de facto enemy of the USA, there was a huge moment of silence for Americans. The UN passed a resolution the very next day, resolution 1368 which basically was written to allow the UN to make any immediate strike that was necessary to strike at those who were responsible for the attacks on behalf of the USA. I mean all these things happened across the whole world... and here you are saying that because they didn't do any cool flag lighting effects that they didn't care? lol man, just lol...
@Watermelonoma Its just a reflection of more support, that's all. Also in Iran their was a moment of silence? Are you kidding me? There was flag burning and parties throughout Iran and same with several parts of saudi arabia. Furthermore what are these papers you're talking about? Maybe one or two articles said that Furthermore the french are getting all of that and more whereas 9/11 was literally 10 times worse. The statement of solidarity by decorating basically every substantial monument in the world is much more substantial in my opinion than some private solidarity that you think people had. I mean yeah there was a bit of support but 9/11 was literally one of the worst terrorist attacks ever. Now something that is 1/10th as bad is getting more support, just saying. And naturally there was support from the UN--its because article 5 demands that an attack on one nation is an attack on all. It was required by law to have that support. So that's moot.
you need to do some research dude. There was a moment of silence in azadi stadium in iran by 60 000 people who apparently hate the USA. One or two articles? I'm not going to do your research for you man. Your too obsessed with gimmicks and light shows.
"The statement of solidarity by decorating basically every substantial monument in the world is much more substantial in my opinion than some private solidarity that you think people had"
you're making americans look super dumb right about now. Hows this for "some private solidarity"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djo12DqE9-4
^ looks quite grand, and quite PUBLIC to me. Nuqood, he's all yours man. Can't waste my time with BS like this... not today..
@Watermelonoma Lol since when is decorating every important monument a gimmick and a lightshow. Its massive symbolism and i'm sorry you can't see the significance of it. Again all of this is happening for france too right now and 9/11 was 10 times worse.
Also, do your own research. Type American flag burned iran into google images and literally see hundreds of flag burnings. Furthermore there was even American flag burning going on in LOndon for God's sake, where radical Muslims burned flags outside the embassy. So much for Muslim world solidarity. If you do some further research you'll find ties between iran and flag burnings near the US.
I also don't speak, and never said I did, for all Americans so that's an incredibly stupid statement/generalization to make. To conclude something about a group of people based on the claims of one person is ridiculous and ignorant.
@Watermelonoma but i was wrong about the private solidarity thing ill give you that. Nevertheless France is receiving more support.
I don't think that's true, it's just more visible now because the world is more connected than if was back then, thanks to social media and Internet news.
@boywithpinkhair it is more visible now but nonetheless there wasn't anything this massive for either England or the US during 7/7 and 9/11. Like I didn't see the English flag being shown on every substantial monument or landmark in the world. France is receiving significantly more support, regardless if social media is helping or not especially considering 9/11 and 7/7 were both more damaging than paris. I mean its great to see the support its just France is the only country to have received such significant support
Ya no one cares about israel either 😢
No-one did that coz a lot of people knew america itself was behind it. Bush and the cia knew for months it was going to happen and did nothing. He couldn't have his war on terror unless there was a big body count. 'Democracy' gets spread in the middle East. More regional instability, more bases for america in foreign lands, more monopoly on the world's oil, free market economics and new markets for Americas corporations to exploit. You honestly believe your country is a benevolent force? It just spends billions on wars policing the world coz it's nice? Lol. They really feed you lot shit in that country
In the Army football game today, when they ran into the field one guy carried a French flag along side with the American Flag. That was a nice tribute to our oldest ally.
Now let's go kick Isis ASS!! Make ISIS, WASWAS 😎👍
Citizens of Europe please wake up and feel the terrorism of zionist in occupied Palestine. It's what you felt two nights ago in France.
Paris attack was done by Mossad and their allies , the ISIS. Only Israel stands to benefit from attacks on Paris.
The painful truth that world turn away from... If we compare using a scale of deviltry n barbarity so ISIS = Israel same barbaric ugly unhuman acts.. But difference world leaders move to stop ISIS while same leaders support n pay to zionist for there crimes
I can't believe the cheek of some people here, especially those from the Middle East.
"Why can't we have out flags lighting your buildings WAAAHAAAA WAAAAAH :(".
Go fuck yourselves.
We've done everything possible to help support your countries, yet you feel entitled to more? I hope we stop now, I hope we leave you by yourselves.
Vive la France, Vive la République, A MORT LES TERRORISTES, A MORT LE DAESH.
" I hope we stop now, I hope we leave you by yourselves."
Who asked you to help them in the first place?
Were your country helping the people of Middle East or just trying to SUCK the oil?
I hope we stop now, I hope we leave you by yourselves. ? no body asks you to help even
by the way tell your government to stop supporting jihadist groups in Syria
because they gain now what they started
i feel only sorry for the innocent souls , and all the world knows most of western countries only want OIL from the middle east no more
We helped you because you're in a fucking humanitarian crisis and that's usually what we do, HELP.
You are scumbag and I hope you realise how absurd you're being right now. France aren't touching the oil.
Bruce jender please don't be ignorant bitch :p
I'm from Romania so I'm not Arab nor Middle eastern and you can see I'm atheist
Sorry but screw Paris. My heart goes out to the Palestinians, who are under siege everyday and are being Martyred by genocidal Zionist filth while the World just sits back and watches
Hey mr. badass no one said anything about why you had flags lighting on buildings and if you are just a bit smarter or intelectual or even if you just read history or have any idea about the middle east history you would know that some middle eastern countries are Francophone such as my country Lebanon and we study 3 languages and we are just in great connection with France and yes vive la France and yes ISIS to hell and terrorism to hell but why the hate for middle eastern people that you are showing all of us here?
Im not gonna talk the baby talk that you did before ''go fuck yourselves''? Im have more self respect than saying something like that to someone as ignorant as you are, that would make me as low as you are.
Just to be clear no one understand politics, not even politicians, so dont act like you know something or understand the situation while you are waaaayyyyy tooo far from knowing anything at all.
Stop insulting people cause you are not better than anyone else.
You're all repulsive human beings... Count yourself lucky that GaG is this PC, otherwise you'd be hunted down like cattle for the slaughter.
ALL OVER THE WORLD where inoncent people died is terrible... Your mind is poisen 'd. That people can't help what USA did or what Isreal is doing. All the world sits back? Politic is the BIG SHIT. If you want to blame any one blame the damn shit politic all over the world. Dont judge innocent people.
Wow really smh... I lose faith in humanity more and more every single day. Of all the terrorist attacks to blow out of proportion, I guess it has to be France (a major first world country) since apparently the lives of those in the middle east don't really matter.
I hate terrorism, they were innocent people who died RIP them <3 Stay strong France
This was the most beautiful moment, i cried when i saw this happening, it shows we can all appreciate each other, and work for a better future together
First the trade center and now this! What exactly are these people trying to prove.. SMH? But like you said in times like these we should be unified and try to put aside differences. Great take !
Aux armes, citoyens,
Formez vos bataillons,
Marchons, marchons !
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons !
stop making such a big issue out of it mumbai had a worst attack on 26/11
@ Taz hotel
Right
@loverdude yup
Yea that was the worst attack
I watched that in geography channel
Too bad US funds those same terrorists and the European government still wants to allow them in so Europeans get raped and assaulted. I how our governments.
nice mytake I support Paris that's why I changed my picture to the red white and blue filter to support France
Ya, let's stand together, especially in close proximity so that next time they bomb, the death toll hits at least 1000.
I normally ain't for vilolince and war and such but there are just some pople within the world thay cannot be reasoned with out there, yup gonna have to stomp them out unfortunatley.
Maybe now that they see how supportive we are they'll stop hating everyone except themselves.
Any murder onto another human is wrong, regardless of nationality, gender or anything else.
Stop it already, god damn. go pray for lebanese bombed just a day before paris.
So annoying...
The same country that allowed us to basically storm its beaches, to win world war ii. Such a sad attack on France
