Islam, Terrorism and Generalization

First and foremost: never believe any of the shit mainstream media tells you. That applies for both the papers and the news.

FOX.. they're all guilty. A prime example is Israel/Palistine. The US and the UK are backing Israel because it's a Democratic state and it's a base for the US in the middle east.

Palistine originally owned all the land that is Israel now. Israel are just stealing it from them and pushing them out. Obviously the media make Palistine to be the bad guys.

Anyways. People associate Islam with terrorism way too much. It makes me livid.
If that's the case then all white people are Nazi's and are part of the KKK.
It's this radical generalization which makes Islam seem bad. When really, they're peaceful af. Their religion does not teach violence. None do.

In spite of the Paris attacks as such this has only stirred the pan even more. ISIS are NOT a representation of Islam. They're just a bunch of terrorists trying to make a name for themselves. Only the ignorant and fucking stupid place the actions of a few upon the many.

Living in the UK we have a vast amount of different ethic groups, religions and societies here. Some of you know that in the UK anyone can make their own political parties. Which brings me to my next point..

We have a few 'anti foreigner' parties here. - BNP (British National Party) - their leader is known as Nick Griffin. He's a twat; there was a gay couple staying in a hotel in London and he felt the need to tweet their location and gather a mob is harass them and throw things at them as they leave their hotel. What kind of scum does that?

- EDL (English Defence League) - They go around burning the Kuran and waving their England flag in one hand and have a cheap beer in the other. While they sing god save the Queen.

Britain First - This one is something else. They are Anti-Islam. All they post on their Facebook page is utter crap with no sources. Pure racial hate. The comments are awful as well.

People here often blame the fact they can't get a job on 'foreigners'.. The sad truth is; no-one wants to hire a person who spews racial hate, has no qualifications, criminal background, lazy, can't even speak their own langauge properly.

I saw someone post in a feed on Facebook "if you live here learn to speak 'are' language."

That's just funny, and ironic.

This man is a genius and destroys them.

Anyways, thank you reading my rant. I felt like I needed to let this out because people with this mindset make me angry.

Dude anyone with common sense knows that the entire Islam population of followers aren't terrorists if they were they would have already waged open war on the world. We know it's only a few people but the number is growing right now ISIS has an army of about 50,000 loyal soldiers and the number keeps getting bigger.

So while all of Islam is not terrorists also know that more join the enemy everyday and not just from Islam but all over the world. And you also can not ignore what is going on in the world, the thing that makes them so dangerous is that in a sea of people who all follow the same religion and are innocent we have no clue who's innocent and who's dangerous the people we befriend today could be the people that kill us tomorrow. It's easier and safer to treat them all as the enemy, it's been like that for every nation in the world in just about every war ever fought. It's necessary right but it's what is happening *shrugs*

And also actually read some of their bible the Quran is promotes violence against none believers violence in it is to inflict pure chaos.

"Quran is promotes violence against none believers".. The context of those verses are during war when there were battles between Muslims and Non-Muslims. It's not promoting violence, its recounting a historical event. Ex. Battle of Badr.

While I do agree with the general gist of this take, you also hold up the no true scotsman fallacy.

There frankly are a lot of problems within Islam itself, the current state of several islamic countries as well as the massive cultural impact the amounts of islamic immigrants have and they need to be adressed.

There are problems with islamic violence, there are problems with shariah law, ISIS are muslims, there are problems with sunni-wahhabism, there are problems with muslims immigrants (especially in the UK and Sweden and soon getting worse in Germany as well with the mindless immigration and refugee policy-making). The problem here is that the narrative is either one or the other extreme. It either is "all muslims are terrorists" or it is "I gonna spread my asscheeks far and wide and agree with everything progressive and liberal that is going on".

That being said the mainstream media is a pile of bullshit and you are better off not reading any news than following them as they spread more lies than truth.

I wouldn't say people from war driven countries are peaceful af... it just doesn't add up, we as humans adapt to our surroundings. If your surroundings are filled with violence you will adapt slowly to it. The violence that is abnormal for a Canadian is probably kids play for someone living in Afghan.

Isis wasn't and isn't the only muslim group out there. Over the years you can see a list of terrorist attacks, there is eaily over 150 major attacks.

Everyone knows not EVERY muslim is dangerous. But the bottom line is their love the religion is so strong that leaders can easily manipulate them to do bad things in the name of god.

The point here though is that the terrorist groups aren't only from "muslim groups". Terrorism happens in first world countries too but it isn't labelled as such.

It isn't labelled as much because its generally random. And if its not random those other terrorist groups have a relatively smaller impact on the world.

The muslim attacks are much much more relevant, making it more news worthy since they are not random and usually one will follow up with more. So its an ongoing thing.

They are not muslim attacks though. They are ISIS and extremist attacks that have nothing to do with the majority of Muslims. The labelling is wrong because it is dangerous as it puts the general word of "Muslim" and "islam" in a negative connotation and puts irrational fear in people. Terrorism is not embodied by a specific religion. But the only time you will ever hear Terrorism and religion in the same sentence is if you are talking about Islam. Yet, there are people from other religions who do just as much damage but it will never be labelled as "terrorism" because of the way the political agenda is set up. They are just called "mass shootings" done by a "mentally disturbed individual." No race, religion, or ideology is tied to their motives even if the shooter themselves claims to hate a specific group or race.

The whole 'there not muslims' just doesn't really work anymore. They are muslims, they may not be representative of all muslims but it is 'mostly' muslims that the world is currently afraid of.

There are hundreds of examples historically of "terrorism" being done. It might not have the word "terrorism" in the books but it is encompasses the same amount of violence and innocent lives being killed in the name of a certain "belief".

And by the way, ISIS has killed more Muslims than Non-Muslims, they have burned down Mosques and schools. They have killed babies and women. Think about it - it is hypocritical to kill "their own" if they really were Muslims. Most of the attacks by ISIS are being done in Muslim Countries. People died in Paris and the media was brought to tears, but hundreds of kids died in Syria and Afghanistan and no one gave a crap.

Your right with most of it. But you can't go to far back in history. Those times and eras are not relevant for today. Obviously if you go as far back as the dawn of man kind there will be over 10000 different wars and battles.

Humans are not animals and are not known to simply adapt to anything. If so we'd probably not progressed socially the way we have. Human are also autonomous beings, this is why two people can go to the same prison for the same crime and one keep repeating that crime while the other rehabilitates themself and moves on in life. Anyone with half a brain knows that there's normal Muslims and then there's terrorists.
Palestine is a terrorist enclave operated by Hamas who intends to kill all Jews and destroy Israel. I'm not saying Israel is perfect but Palestine is far worse.
