Not really. Those problems were actually a part of society long before feminism.
Women have always been, erroneously, seen as primary care-givers to children, with men being primary providers.
Women have always gotten the kids. But not every woman is a capable caregiver, and some men are phenomenal caregivers.
This is a fault of society as a whole. Imposing a bias. That bias is perpetuated by traditional culture and regressive groups. People trying to keep the culture of the mid to early 1900s alive.
And the same can be said about a lot of issues in our culture. The view of women as weak, dependent, and emotional. The view of men as stoic, strong, independent.
These didn't appear because of feminism. They appeared because of traditional society and cultural bias.
Those need to be eliminated. This fear of "effeminate men" and shit like that needs to eliminated. Unless a partnership is met between the two sexes the bickering will go on forever.

my rebuttal is that what you say is wrong from a legal stand point and social. men wore considered better for the children but women couldnt do as much as men so they had them by default.

Well, beforehand divorce was unheard of. It was socially stigmatized. You'd be seen as breaking an important tenant of God and marriage. Striking your wife was legal, and if a man was struck by his wife he would never ever report it or speak up. Unfortunate, because many men are born slender. Macho man is not an across-the-board build.
Wait. So feminism just took the idea that women get the children for no reason in all cases, to women get the children cause they're good with them instead? Nothing changed, just the reason kids went with their mother.
Why would society just give women the kids if men were as capable? That doesn't make sense. What male judge decides that men are the best to raise a child then gives the kids to women?

Both your arguments are pretty fallacious. One side more than the other but still.
Men do not hold all the power. Women do not have more rights.
Women get more consideration in certain areas and less in others (wrongly). Don't confuse a right with consideration. A right is something in the legal system, a consideration is a part of society. One is a lot less messy than the other.
Men don't hold the power. The rich hold the power. The wealthy and politically suave hold the power. If you want a real fight for power, consider class warfare, not gender warfare.
Men don't rule society. The rich do. Always have. And they blame the poor for not letting them be wealthier. Wealth isn't ran by men. It's ran by a family unit. A dynasty. Behind every rich man is a rich woman helping pull the strings.
Don't lose focus of the situation. It's not about who holds the power, cause we know who does. It's what the average life of our citizens are like.

Look how the men in the Middle East suppress the women in the Middle East. They can do that because THEY ARE IN CHARGE.
Not every person in charge is white and male. Hilary, though I am not fond of her, certainly holds a lot of power. Obama, who is not "white" is certainly in a position of power. There are a lot of female and colored CEOs as well.
But what do they all have in common? They're all rich. The rich are in power. Far more than "white males are in power."
Another issue with "white males" are in power is that it suggests these men are singular things. Most all these rich men have a family. For example, the Kardashians, as much I don't like them, have power amongst their family.
These men are not singular things. It's not a family of two dudes married with two male children. Women share part of the power with their husbands.
It's not a fact. It's your bias, and it has weak logic, for the same reasons I pointed out.
There are a DISPROPORTIONATE amount of straight, white, males in place. But that has more to do with an exclusivity on that wealth by western culture in western societies.
All those middle eastern men with power who are white?
All those people in the indian government who are in charge that are white?
All those people in Asian who run those big corrupt construction facilities that are white?
Are you still prepared to argue that it's all the white people in charge?
Or can you acknowledge that the culture is mostly white, so white people are more readily available to take that wealth and power?

I'll agree with dev765 to the point, that as a whole, it's still a mans world. As a world view of course. Women are still held back in society, where men are in control. A general statement, I'll admit but turn on your TV, get on the Internet, read the paper, explore politics. It's still amans world... as a whole.
@AidaRoma You're right, the rich and powerful who sit on the seats of power are largely men. I imagine that will be changing in the next couple generations. But it's not something that's going to happen right away. So long as women are being encouraged to step up to the plate in society, we will see those paradigms shift.
But it's important that as they shift, one group isn't put out because of it. In order to progress, the shift has to happen proportionately.
Men may still rule the upper class, but things are a bit less clear for the lower class.
@SomeOtherGuy You're wise beyond your years. I agree, and you've made good points. Sadly, in some cases it's, us... we women, we can be our own worst enemy when it comes to equality. We all need to stop judging, and deciding, for women, and others for that matter... how we want to move forward. And how we should behave, and what we should do with our lives. To be equal, is to decide... for ourselves who we want to be, and where we want to be.

Actually I stand corrected. I have found a decent amount of MRMs that don't mind gays. Though I have found a handful that do, but the verdict is in favor of acceptance of male homosexuals.
I'll admit, the rule on the MGTOW subreddit about not talking about the LGBT movement had me wondering, as well as a few posts. But I can kinda see why those rules are there and I find they're more benign than on the surface.
