What would you do with 800 million dollars?

For any of you that have been in a gas station or a shopping center within the last 24 hours you may have noticed the Powerball is now at an estimated 800 million dollars. With that much cash in your bank you could do a lot of things, pretty much anything you want!

$800,000,000 can buy you:

• 300 million Grande Iced Coffee from Starbucks

• 2,000 brand new Lamborghini Aventadors

• 600 million Crunchy Tacos from Taco Bell

• 400 Taco Bells

• 58 big islands off the coast of Fiji

• 2 million xbox ones

Whether you decide to buy some Lamborghinis to race on your islands to your own Taco Bell or donate it all to charities just remember, you can’t win if you don’t play.

What would you do if you won?

Well, I would love to win big. Honestly, I wouldn't even need all that to live the rest o my life on.
But with 800,000,000 dollars I would
1) Pay for college, pay off student loans, pay any debt my mother or grandmother had. I would also pay for a tutor and vet school.
2) Keep it secret, but give each a few family members a little something each month.
3) Donate to my old church, like 100,000. They've helped me out a lot financially for school, and I think I owe them because they're good people at heart.
4) Donate to the local animal shelter and other animal shelters and hire someone to see that the money is put to the best use. Also, set up a fund/fundraising so that each year big crowds come and donate.
5) Invest in a wildlife rescue in my area. Once something happened with a wild rabbit, and no one was willing to help it. Plus, it needs to happen because every year my family finds a baby bird out of a tree that doesn't have a fair chance like a puppy or kitten would.
6) Set up an organization just there for collecting and distributing dog houses, thick blankets, and bedding for animals in the winter.
7) I think you can see the animal theme in my givings. I would also try to distribute educational pamphlets to people with pets and set up a fund to help people who are poor and their pets have an accident.
8) Give my boyfriend money :3 and buy us an apartment for the year <3
9) Spoil my mom and grandma rotten <3 I would buy them a new house. And I would use my money to give my grandma someone to live with her, cook for her, and make sure she's doing ok-things my mom needs a break from as she gets older.
10) Donate to international charities.
11) Travel when school permits.
12) Save the rest. I wouldn't spend even a million that first year. The rest I could save. And I would donate the interest each year to charities.

With $800 million honestly the very first thing I'd do is ensure all my parents' worries are gone and they have a comfortable retirement. I'd buy them their dream house and pay off any debts they have and simply support them.

Obviously myself and my boyfriend would get a fancy place too. We'd go travelling all over and I'd also enrol in uni to study shit I'm interested in.

All the free time from not having to work for a living would mean I can enjoy my hobbies and perfect my talents too.

1. My SO and I would get married, nothing too fancy or huge (we still wouldn't want to waste money just because we have a lot)
2. We would pay for a fixer upper house, or even just a plot of land, and completely reno/build a house to my partner and I's expectations.
3. Give a certain sum to our family to allow them to pay off their debts and have enough to last them for the rest of their lives. Our parents deserve to retire :P I wouldn't want my sisters to get any of that until they learn the value of the dollar. I'd help them on big purchase things, but I wouldn't want them to be spoiled rotten trust fund kids. I'd want them to still work for a living and stuff.
4. We'd want to open our own business so we can work together every day and do something we enjoy, and we wouldn't even have to worry about money. Even if it loses money we'd still do it if we loved it, since we wouldn't be blowing our money left right and center with big purchase items (of course, we'd want a nice house and nice things, but I wouldn't want to live the life of the rich and famous. Basically just top of the line appliances and electronics and a reasonable car like a cadillac) and it would be more than enough to last a lifetime. Even if we spent like a million on a house (which we wouldn't) that's still not that much in the long run...
5. Set aside money in a trust fund for our future children. Do not let them get it until they are like 25 or older, except they can dip into it for college. Again, don't want spoiled rich trust fund people that get everything they want and have no sympathy for the little people.
6. Donate to charities we support.
7. Donate to people with a cause or need on gofundme.
8. Invest in stocks
9. Pass on the rest of the money for future generations, but take out a big portion for charity again, depending on how much we have left.

So much. I'd buy my own house, nothing too big but unique-looking, and with a big yard, lots of personal space.

I'd complete all the collections I have, of various things I'm into (music, games, books, other things I collect)

For vehicles, I'd get a classic Shelby Mustang, though I'm not sure which. And if I have the money I might get a Challenger and a Trans Am as well. And a really efficient daily driver that I won't care if it gets road-salted or not.

Maybe I'd also get a speedboat or an airplane of some kind, like an old-fashioned WW1 biplane.

I'd definitely give quite a bit to family and friends, especially in terms of getting rid of loans, other money problems, and medical expenses. I'd get the best medical treatments available.

I'd not work ever again. I'd take the rest of my life to just go where I want to go and do what I want to do. Every day would be summer vacation for the rest of my life. If I have an interest, I'd follow it until I became good at it. I'd get myself in shape, I'd read all the books I want, listen to all the music I want, watch all the movies and play all the games I'd like to. I'd get good at creative hobbies or interests.

Lastly, I'd definitely give some to charity, especially to those helping animals - both helping wild animals to keep from extinction, and helping pets relocate from shelters to new homes.

Buy a couple of thousand acres, build a nice but somewhat modest home in the middle of it, but one that was virtually storm proof.
