Voting for Bernie. Donald Trump is racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic and transphobic and the only chance he'd have of getting my vote is if it were to stop Cruz from taking office.

If i could kill 1 person in the world would be him, no hard feelings. He is literally the worst person that could be president. If he ever comes to power, it will happen the same witch happen with Germany or at least create inside wars witch will destroy the country. Racism is no excuse. #protecthumanrights #saynototrump

I just like how Sanders gets all this crap for being a socialist, and over here in Canada - One of the most capitalist countries in the world - he would be considered more of a "Right-sided" party member.

If you can't see this, im sorry but you are too stupid and if hillary becomes president, world will be fucked again and for a longer time.
Trump is the only one who doesn't have agressive and dangerous foreign politics.
You want more wars and inustice in the world? vote puppet hillary... because i hope you understand usa is not the only country in tne world, there are others too, who get influenced by usa politics.

no, he will most likely cause ww3. The guy has a short temper and that is not presidential material and could get us nuked. The guy is a narcissist, that is dangerous since most narcissistic leaders turn out to be dictators. The guy can't take any form of criticism which again could take us to ww3. Anyone who thinks he is peaceful is full of it and so brainwashed by the alt-right

@Eric644 u have shown from all ur posts ur the brainwashed one. u are not open to any discussion. u are the spitting image of a libtard. very "open" minded and very "tolerant" of others, not "racist" , or "bigoted" at all. words all clearly far beyond u, since u can't seem to use them properly anyway. instead of even answering OPs comment u try to misdirect, because u have no facts, because u know hillary will be in jail for starters. bernie will have a heart attack long before the elections. how far in are we now? how long have they been saying trump is going to fall/drop off? yet here u are still trying to tell people jail bait would win easy? lol show everyone just how stupid and naive u truly are. u dont even know who the trump base is... goes to show u have done zero research into what u talk about. stop using ur fingers and use ur eyes to read words.

Polls show that the Trump base is; White, old, male, uneducated, rural. For starters the man has a 31% approval rating according to a recent FOX NEWS poll and he has the same approval rating on average. Recent polls including the recent fox news poll show Clinton beating Trump by double digits as much by 18 points. A poll has Trump losing in UTAH by 2 points. And wow you called me a Libtard, I'm a Libertarian dumb ass, but you Alt right authoritarian conservatives are always quick to use the Libtard card every time someone doesn't agree with your fascistic alt-right beliefs. You are the epitome of an uniformed a uneducated Alternative Right Trumptard. Your guy is gonna lose

@Eric644 Are you effing kidding me? lol Trump is the front-runner with the most delegates since has won in most of the states where the demographics are not just "white", "old", etc... Therefore, he is going to win the primary and probably will beat Hillary in the general election.

he won the primaries where the Republican faithful vote and even then he only won by pluralities, the Republican electorate is no where the same as the general. by the way 41% of Republicans do not like the guy according to the same FOX NEWS poll. And I know you will try to discredit the poll because you Trumpists don't accept facts and are far from reality, but I will remind you that Fox News is a conservative source so the real numbers could be much worse. Please do not equate winning a plurality of a political party as winning a general election because if that were the case Barry Goldwater would have been president instead of LBJ but i'm sure you don't even know who Barry Goldwater was. The numbers and facts show if the election were held now Trump would lose badly. Please get back in touch with reality

I'd vote for neither. Trump is obviously a terrible choice, but Sanders is hypocritical. He supports droning innocent civilians and is against reparations for black people, while being for reparations for Jewish people. And he wants a $15 minimum wage, but pays his interns $12. It's quite funny that he preaches equality for all but his proposals say otherwise. I'd vote for Jill Stein, but apparently third parties can't win. Either way, America's in some deep shit.

That won't help you, he will nuke Canada the minute he feels that the prime minister insulted him. Fortunately I think the American public is much smarter than we give them credit he only has a 33% approval rating and if the election were held today both Dems would destroy him by as much as 13 points. Much can change in 8 months but I think it will likely change more against him because his statements will get more and more outrageous. some part of me even questions if he is taking this election seriously or just handing the white house to Hillary or Bernie

yes it does, if he loses by a big margin he wins the popular vote in enough states to get the EV vote. You need to educate yourself on the electoral college and how a candidate wins them (through the popular vote of each state). Let's say if someone wins the popular vote of Florida even by one vote, they get the EV votes of that state. Now do you understand. If someone is winning the election by 10 points they will most certanly have the popular vote in enough states to win the electoral college. again, i have a minor in poli sci and certainly know my stuff. I also volunteered and did campaign work and worked at polling stations during the election, I know how the process goes. Stop arguing with me

that doesn't mean anything, Barry Goldwater was the front runner of the GOP and lost terribly to LBJ. Winning a political party by a plurality, not even a majority, doesn't translate to victory in a general election. While he may be popular with the ultra right he isn't with the general population. So he is winning with his party so what, and he isn't winning a majority either.

@Eric644 The popular vote doesn't mean anything in the primary/general election. It's all about the delegate count and the electoral college. Neither do the approval ratings since most people secretly agree with Donald Trump, but won't admit to it openly anyways.

in the primary it doesn't work, but in a general election it does; if the election were held today Hillary would win by 10 points and Bernie would win by 12 thus they would rack the EV Votes, the EV vote only is contrary to the popular vote if it is a close election. I am telling you, he is very unpopular. You may think he is because the people you are around are mostly old and white. He will not get the hispanic vote and he will not get the black vote and young people hate him too. You cannot win an election with just old whites from the south. But hey keep on deluding yourself that people like Trump, most people are not closet racists. Yes he says the stuff that you may not want to say because you may be a closet bigot or racist, but most Americans do not like Trump's views

this has nothing to do with illegal immigration and you know it. This has to do with Trump's authoritarian views on things like forcing Muslims in america to have id cards, his inability to condemn the Klan, his possession of a copy of Mein Kempf, his beliefs on silencing journalists that disagree with him, his narcissistic personality, his racist views, his chauvinistic behavior. So yes, he might be popular with those on the extreme right, but with middle of the road voters... no way

Read it very carefully. Candidates are not directly chosen by voters in a primary/caucus AND a general election. I am actually 100% hispanic and a natural born US citizen. Plenty of Americans agree with Trump. That is why he has won the popular votes in most of the states' in the GOP primaries already. It's not about racism. It's about being realistic and putting an end to all of the criminal activities. Illegal immigration is a crime in itself since illegal immigrants are coming in without permission and are not paying taxes.

again, do you not understand that the primary vote is not the same thing, that is the vote among Republicans, not the general public, that vote is coming in November. The electoral college usually votes with the popular vote, unless the popular vote is less than a 2 point win, the electoral college will mirror that popular vote. A candidate that gets 55% of the vote will win the electoral collage, now if a candidate had like a 50% to 49% win than that is the only time the EV may be different than the popular vote. Trust me, I worked during the 2008 election and minored in political science and I know what the hell i'm talking about. The democrat who will be going against Trump will get more than a 2 point win and will get the Electoral college.

How do you explain his support of silencing media outlets that disagree with him? by the way, Hitler never campaigned on concentration camps, he never campaigned on gas chambers, he used rhetoric that was identical to what trump is using. It actually took a while for it to get to the point of concentration camps. Oh my God explaining things to a Trump supporter is like talking to a child

actually i'm not a left winger, i'm a Libertarian but that is not the point. The popular vote usually coincides with the popular vote. There are times when the electoral college does not vote with the popular vote but that is ONLY when the margin is very small, and that has only occurred once in modern history (the 2000 election). The electoral college coincides with the popular vote BY STATE, the candidate that wins the state's popular vote will win the electoral college votes. If the margin is greater than a 2 point victory it is highly likely that the candidate has won the popular vote in enough states to win the electoral college. do you understand now? did you minor or major in political science? did you do survey work at polling stations? I know what i am talking about. If either Hillary or Bernie score greater than a 2 point win it is highly likely that they will carry the popular vote in enough states to take the electoral college. The electoral college goes with the voters

of their state. also you think that Trump is winning because he is winning the primary vote. ok let me explain to you what a primary is. A primary is when the party faithful or voters that align with the party they are voting for pick their candidate to run in the general election, it is in no way reflective of the political atmosphere of the general public , let that sink in. He could win every primary with 80% of the vote in every state and lose terribly in a general election if his beliefs are too radical for the general public. again , let that sink in

um. Do you not know how the electoral college works. The electoral college awards states with points, this system is WINNER TAKES ALL. If a candidate wins a state, even by one vote, they get ALL of the state's electoral college votes. The electoral college is obligated to side with the voters of THEIR OWN STATE. Now if a candidate wins an election by over 2 points , they are very likely to have won the popular vote in enough states to win the electoral college; do you understand now. I'd advise you not to argue with someone who minored in political science and did campaign and poll work during the 2008 election. But that's a Trump voter for you, they are just as arrogant as their candidate is. And you honestly thought that the primary election was the same as the general election lol, one is to pick a candidate to run in a general election and the other is the actual election. YOU have a lot to learn.

@Eric644 You must have slept through class. You were the one who thought that the popular vote counted in both the primary election because you kept emphasizing the 33% approval rate lol. You have lots of reading to do. Ask your political science professors if you indeed do have a college degree which I doubt. I never said that the primary election was the same as the general election. You had no choice, but to make something up about the election process. It's best to admit your own errors instead of trying to sound like a know-it-all when you don't have a clue about what you're talking about.

In addition, the primary election and general election are TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT elections (which I emphasized in the beginning), however the candidates are not chosen by the popular votes which you fail to see.

ok let me explain again. the electoral college is a winner take all process, it has to do with the popular vote in each individual state. Lets say a candidate win Florida by one vote, they will receive Florida's electoral votes because it is winner take all. Now if a candidate wins by a margin of 10 points it is highly unlikely they will lose the electoral college because a win that big would most likely mean they won the popular vote in enough states to claim those states electoral votes. Got it

scroll down to where it says
What is the difference between the winner-takes-all rule and proportional voting, and which states follow which rule?

it will tell you that the electoral college is bound by the popular vote IN ITS SATE and cannot vote against the voters of their state.

look, you have a right to support Trump, I am just telling you, don't be surprised if he does not win and don't be surprised if he loses big time. In other words, don't get your hopes up. He will lose by a landslide and he will lose the popular vote in a lot of states (this is the important vote that determines the EC) to not become president

@Eric644 Let me give you a historical example. In the Bush v. Gore election, Al Gore won the popular vote, however he lost the general election because he did not have enough electoral votes. They are two completely different things and the popular vote DOES NOT play a role in the general election. The only role the general public plays in the election is electing the members of the electoral college, who then vote for whichever candidate they want to vote for. However, the popular vote itself does not mean anything in either election. I don't know how explain it to you. You either just don't understand or pretend to not understand. This is basic common knowledge. You can google it if you want.

and you now why Gore lost, because he lost the POPULAR VOTE in Florida by a mere 400 votes and thus the electoral college votes went to Bush. and again, the popular vote was within less than 1 percentage point of a win for Gore.

so Gore lost because he lost the popular vote in Florida by a razor slim margin so Bush got the electoral collage vote and the nationwide popular vote was less than a point win for Gore. It won't be that close this year

actually, Bush won Florida's popular vote by 547 votes. There was controversy because it was claimed that all the votes were not counted so a recount was requested, the supreme court ruled to deny the request for a recount and so the record held that Bush won by 547 votes. we will never know who really won Florida, but as it is recorded Bush won by 547 votes not Gore.

scroll down to Florida, what does it say, BUSH WON FLORIDA again because the Supreme Court refused to grant a recount and fair or not it is recorded that Bush won Florida by 547 votes or by 0.0092%. That is why people claim stole the election, because we do not know if he won fair and square because the Supreme Court refused to grant a recount.

You are hoping for another close call like in Florida, I will tell you, that it won't be that close. Bush won by 547 votes, that is what is recorded, and if the Supreme Court granted a recount and Gore won Florida by 1 vote, guess who would have been president instead!!! Gore. The supreme court ruled the way It did and the final vote count was a bush win by 547. Now if a candidate wins a state fair and square the Electoral College is obligated to vote the way the voters in their state voted, they are not allowed to vote the opposite if there is a clear winner. Trump will lose and he won't be president get use to it now have a good day :)

man you Trumptards are so uneducated about how things work. I told you time and time again, the state popular vote determines who will claim the state's electoral vote. Please don't cry when your guy loses by double digits. The popular vote in each state counts and Clinton will win far more states than Trump. Unfortunately I do not like that scenario either because, like I said, I am a Libertarian and do not want either of them to be president. I am just arguing the facts, but trumptards don't want to listen to numbers and facts. How can someone become president if the lose the popular vote by 10 points, such a win by Trump's opponent will guarantee that they will be president. a 10 point win means that the candidate will practically win enough states to win the presidency. And if let's say Clinton win's Florida by 5 points, the EC is bound by law to vote the way the voters of Florida voted. An ec voter is not allowed to vote in a way that is contrary to their state's popular vote.

      2. The outcome of the vote in each state determines a slate of electors who then, in turn, make the actual choice of president and vice president. Each state has as many electors as it has senators and members of the House of Representatives, for a total of 538. Taxes... that's a whole other story. The wealthy need to "pay their fair share"?
      How do you figure this?
Someone makes $30k and pays $4,500 in taxes
Someone else makes $500k and pays close to $200k in taxes, but they're not paying their fair share?
      Please... Enlighten me.
Not to mention someone making $30k/yr is more likely to rely on government assistance, while the person making $500k/yr is more likely to be EMPLOYING people making $30k/yr, creating jobs for people who will ALSO pay taxes...
Plus they're paying more in property taxes, and buying more shit which results in more SALES taxes paid... But they're not paying their fair share?

What is it that I'm missing here?
