I didn't. Please pay attention to what I actually said.
Women were oppressed, it's a lot better now, not perfect, but much better.
If you think not being able to have a job is cool, then great. Quit yours.
Women didn't need a job, they're husbands provided for them. By the way, women did work, just not as much as men. If anything it was men who were being oppressed.
A lot of women didn't want to be with men to survive, they wanted to be able to provide for themselves, or they didn't want to be with their husband's anymore but had no way to provide for themselves if they left. Think about how sucky that must have been for a woman in an abusive relationship.
But ok, not getting lost in the musings of a careless whisper.
Provide for themselves? What by working dirty, dangerous jobs that were very physical? Give me a break. That's just plain silly. I suspect most women were happy that they had a husband providing for them.
Women couldn't vote because they couldn't be drafted to wars.

I like how the majority of bitter females on this post are criticising you without even coming up with logical arguments. Maybe not allowing them to vote was a good idea after all.

Males dying younger is a natural phenomenon. Males have higher mortality rates even in the womb and during infancy despite the fact that female infanticide is common in many parts of the world.
