  Bien sur, j'y vais chaque été. Je suis déja allé plusieurs fois a Paris et ca ne m'a pas épaté.
  
  Ca pue la pisse partout, les gens sont méchants et hostile (meme sit tu leur parle en francais), c'est cher et en dehors du centre-ville, c'est sale.

  Well especially older people in Paris don't exactly like people that are not Parisian for some reason, even other French people, so they especially don't like those that are obviously not French at all..
  But that's really a small minority of usually older people in Paris. I say you just met the wrong people.

  I'm fluent in french and I speak with a french accent from the Lyon area.
  
  I don't think you can really tell who is french or not by the way they look, unless they're wearing a beret and holding a baguette.
