I know I'm only 16 but if I still never get asked on a date or still remain invisible to guys, or have any romantic/sexual encounter with anyone in real life by the time I'm 20 I will officially label myself as going WGTOW. Second, you might want to take a look at the Herbivore Men in Japan. It's a similar phenomenon to MGTOW, albeit for different cultural reasons. They are about 15 years ahead of western cultures in this regard. Some surveys indicate that 70% of Japanese men under 30 are Herbivore Men.
You don't need to know what Mgtow is, to be Mgtow. Most had no idea what it was but had been living it for a long time.
What would probably happen is that people would start reproducing in a lab style setting so guys jack off and doctors use the sperm to impregnate women. Also assuming that 100% of people would override their evolutionary prerogative is a poor assumption. A world of connectedness allowing a collective of distributed resources. Being japanese myself, i can assure you that the survey's you mention are nonsense. What's entertaining about MGTOW is the need to proselytize, as if going their own way is not actually believed. It's nonsensical.
I can guarantee it is a growing thing. I never even heard of it until this year but I had already gone with it about 8 years ago.

Apparently my experience so far in the world is completely different, because besides seeing examples of whiny men on here, I really have never had a problem having well-adjusted relationships with like-minded females, and neither have any of my male friends.
