The problem with using a TV show is that these people applied to be on TV and that the show selected them.
Perhaps the only thing it really shows is the mentality of men and women that want to be on TV.
You could just as easily compare a female prison to a male prison and draw the complete opposite conclusion as you've done here.

I wanted to point out the negative ramifications of doing so which is basic alienation. Its not as easy said as it is done, although your right that they should have demanded greater respect.

Those men despite that should realise they aren't powerless. Even those women. on. the show can be forced into negotiation and bartering. Pinning them agaibst each other would have very easily secured their own faculty of dominance

I think in terms of cultural guidance society has failed men. Where are best and brightest were damned and scorned for their successes. I already been in a groups where they were only girls and 1 guy and it was the guy that lead everything. i think it's more a matter of individual personality rather than one society making men like that.

In Japan there's a similar things where men tired of women demand stay to remain single and focus on anime / video games / doll, etc... But they don't go around hating or whining.
Most of reality is totally different than the media. The media sells fantasy pretty much. So I agree with you in the way that the media would have you believe that all men are this way or that way and usually whats being asserted is a scratch on the surface of what actually happens. But it these narratives hold some truth, just not biblical level absolutes. Nonetheless, our everyday life doesn't allow us to really articulate the fundamental mechanics of what it is we do either, where we may see our conversations as fleeting and meaningless another third party observer may catch onto a large varietyof phenomena.
As for the problem being societal or not, its within a certain context. Its ofcoarse multifaceted but it can be portrayed under that way. Its certainly a problem that can happen psychologically within an individual but you can also assume that a bunch of interconnected factors and influences are at play.
In the circumstances where men are being cucky, there's many explainations why. One is societal. Which at the moment I can only assert.
I am a big believer in sub conscious phenomena too so I tend to think of most things being the result of unforeseen events.
As for MGTOW, they have a bad rep for two reasons. (A) Feminists own a large influence over the media and they hate men. (B) MGTOW attracts losers... kinda like feminism... Incels, feminists, MGTOW, they are basically identical in many ways. Thats a whole other conversation for sure, lots to say there.

They have bad rep too because of their YouTube video. When I heard of this terms and didn't know what it was I decided to check it out myself and sax some video on youtube, they were basically hating video and whining video. That don't give them a great image doing this kind of video, also the comments being full of violence and all does not help.
Almost any grassroots movement or astroturf movement eventually seems to go AWOL. Feminism can somewhat be said to be good in its inception, but it got riddled with the mediocrity of the masses. Religion is like that. What starts off as a grand vision gets coopted by the masses and they dumb down the vision. MGTOW was initially bad but inevidably it attracted a large condsumer base which demanded it fit their narrative. The masses being mediocre reduced the idealogy to something undesirable. Although most of its bad rep cones from feminists.

Feminism started for getting the right to vote, then they asked to work (the rich one cause the poor women already worked for many years, only the rich one weren't able to work) and then they asked for a lot of others stuff (especially in the late 60s and in the 70s). I think it's when feminism started to get quite messy and bad. In the 70s.
Id believe the elements of the government have special programs in the military branch aimed at infiltrating and undermining any and all grass roots movements. So any type of popular movement in my opinion has or will be compromises in time. Rumors even the say secret-iest of them all the freemasons were taken over by spooks.

Exactly sounds pretty anti-female with all the passive aggressiveness. I don't doubt the men were better on this show but I grew up camping and hiking. Put me on the show and other girls like me you'd see the same damn results as the men. *eyeroll*
@CrystalChild it's not like the men on the show were raised with hiking and camping. The general assumption when the guy wrote this take is that nor the men, nor the women had any previous experience in such conditions, and that's the point. Actually, we don't know how they were chosen for the show or what their previous abilities were. As you might be confident in your abilities, these women were too, since they singed up for this and not for the big brother or sth.

@CrystalChild dude there is not war lol its a show, plus as she said these women were confident in their own abilities and who knows what kind of skills they have, they put 12 men against 12 women (it wasn't even a competition lol ) and the women still lost , different seasons, different shows and in different countries.

@CrystalChild If we teach someone to do something that person will do it with far greater success rates than trying to learn it on their own, and here is what you're ignoring... Women can be as good survivalists as men iam not even denying that, and i've met plenty of smart women who i regard as more capable than many men i know... but despite that the women in this video and usually in real life as well (similiar situations) happen to struggle to learn these things on their own , they rely on being taught which is why men have the advantage in a place like "Survivor" because they do not need to be taught, its actually natural for them to do all that, if you watch the video you will see how men immediately started building and hunting while women were much more content just trying to find the camp.
women can be as good in some areas but they need to be taught just like most men suck at holding babies and cleaning without being taught properly.
its similiar in dating really, i had to learn how to attract girls and do this and that, while other guys i know naturally talked and attracted women at a much younger age, sure at this point iam pretty capable and i even give advises to friends but during highschool i sucked at dating or meeting girls i didn't posses the skills nor qualities to make that happen but now i do, does that mean i can't date? no it just means that i needed more hard work to get her.
