The Shining Pillar of Protest and Free Speech on the Dakota Pipeline

The power of protest and free speech. A shining example of what they can accomplish is the Dakota Access Pipeline protest. For months these proud and dedicated people stood their ground and held the government at bay. For the rightous reasons to protect sacred tribal grounds and the environment, people came from across North America and in fact all over the world to stand on principle.....and a ground of squallor, filth and a swamp made by the immoral.

In the name of free speech, principled people from across the world have accepted money to protest, deposit piles and piles of rubble on these grounds, burned the encampment once shut down releasing toxins into the environment from plastics and abandoned dogs and puppies to die in the disgusting swamp made of their own principle.

Witness for yourselves how the principled of our world wish to protect our environment....by burning piles of toxic rubble.

What do the people expect to make of this? Do as i say, not as i do.

Over thirty environmental organizations paid protesters to be present and leave this mess. To abandon dogs and puppies to die in the winter cold, to leave piles of garbage and pollutants to bleed into the river during spring melts and for the people of Illinois to pay $22M for the clean up. Organizations like the Sierra Club (whom i've volunteered for, but will never again until an apology is given) and Greenpeace.

Fortunately, around 40 people were arrested and the state of Illinois is looking to tax the paid protesters to help pay for the clean up. For the good of free speech, i say keep away if you cannot espouse the very principles that you ascribe to as you only serve to help the cause you fight against and undermine the value of principled free speech.
