The Meaning of a Nice Person

What is a nice person?

They are not nice to a few select people. They are nice to most people. They may or may not be pushovers. They don't attack people who haven't attacked them or anyone else they care about. They don't attack people just for having different opinions. They don't try to hurt people's feelings and they don't try to hurt people's reputations. They don't bring others down, but they try to lift others up. They don't find reasons to dislike people. They are compassionate and kind towards most people, and they don't expect anything in return. They are generous and loving people. Even when they are feeling down, they are still nice. Pretty much everyone, who knows them, agrees that this person is a nice person in general.

Nice people are not that common

It's true that some people are nicer than others. Niceness deviates from the average. Most people are not nice. And people who say they're nice are usually not nice. Some might be telling the truth, but most of them are not. Most people like to think they're nice, but they're actually not. Nice people don't have to tell others that they're nice, they prove it through their actions. I have only met one nice person in my entire life and that's my dad. Or maybe he's just the nicest person I know. It seems like nice people are just as common as mean people.

Nice people have their limits

Everyone has their limits, but nice people have less limits compared to everyone else. It's not okay to take an advantage of someone who is nice. If you do, you're a horrible human being. Niceness is not a weakness, and not all nice people are pushovers. You should treat nice people with more respect because they deserve more respect than everyone else. That way we can encourage more people to be nice to others.

Being nice doesn't equal flirting

Anyone can be a nice person

It's a shame that I have to remind people that anyone can be a nice person. It doesn't matter what their race, gender, sex, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, nationality, and etc is. Niceness is a personality trait that can be possessed by anyone. If we all realize that people of any social categorization can be nice, then we can stop all the prejudices that make us think that they're all horrible people.

The nicest people are always the ones who don't believe so. The nicest people are also the people who have experienced the worst of times, and have known what its like to be in a similar situation, causing them to help you out to prevent you from going through what they've had to go through.

Thank you! I'm nice to everyone. Girls listen it for flirting, guys used that to there advantage by asking for favors a lot, girls get turned off cause I dont tell them no, and think I'm a door Matt, I hold doors for any gender, I pull out chairs for girls, I help them out, pay for strangers things at stores, go out my way for both genders, but some how this generation thinks that if I am to be in a relationship I gotta cut some of it out and I won't be dominate enough or I'll be too nice. The truth of the matter is that they were wrong. SIMPLY PUT SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT KNOW HIW REACT WHEN YOU TREAT THEM NICE. That's just what it is.

This is true and I think sometimes nice people go out of their way to be there for someone to help them. Sometimes their being nice is their biggest weakness since people can take advantage of their sweet nature
