Older women should learn that leggings are not pants.

The only thing I can say about this younger generation is they can teach older people how to maneuver around cell phones and computers if they haven't learned already which most have

Learning is a two way street and all generations have things they can learn from one another.

I think most old people would say their generation was far better than today's.

      Good Take tho.

No shit people think their generation is better than other's, doesn't really mean it is.. And older generations being happier.. I don't know, won't believe that without some statistics.

@just_tired you don't need stats. Just ask and listen to older people.

How scientific.. I have talked to them and I just don't see it. Just as happy and/or miserable as my generation.

Older generations have only experienced growing up in their own time. They haven't experienced growing up in our time. They can't make an objective comparison. Like I said, "No shit people think their generation is better than other's, doesn't really mean it is..". They can't judge our happiness, they can only judge their own.

@just_tired so some/most of them aren't living now?
In fact the older generation are the best judge, because they live through their generation and ours so they have both perspectives.

by the way. I'm not trying to prove anything. It was just my opinion on the Take. Take care and enjoy your day.

Sure they might have been happier in older times (though I'd still say it's debatable without actual stats/studies), but their perspective is different from ours. How do you know we are unhappier today than older generations were in our age? They can't make that judgement, since they're not us, they're not mind readers. Perhaps (and most likely) in 20 years we think our generation was happier in our time than the 20 years from now generation..

      Anyway, have a good day!

      Actually, I do.

I saw a curve one time that has truth to it. As a person as little experience, he thinks he knows far more than he does, but as he gains experience, he more accurately measures his own knowledge and better judges unknown knowledge.

When you are 40, you'll realize how little you knew now.

You can't judge an individual person on a curve or an average. You can make predictions, but individual cases are unique. You don't know me, you don't know her and you are not a mind reader. Hence, you don't know what you don't know.
