Honestly the pay gap is directly tied to the spending gap. As women spend more than men, yet earn less the motivation for men to succeed becomes quite clear.
The issue is that gain is tied to risk, women also don't fall in the lower financial brackets as much (the glass slipper). Without a willingness to fail, you can never succeed.
Want to smash the glass cealing, smash the glass slipper.

The gender-pay gap is based on faulty data. Men get paid more on average, because jobs in math and science are fields that men overall have excelled in more than women.

This has NOTHING to do with "keeping women out". Girls for some reason, has a lower average interest level in math and science than their male counterparts.

      So ill argue each point:

      1) No woman is forced by there job or by the government to leave to have kids, this is a choice by each family, And Women I can guarantee that the women who use this statistic have not had to make the decision themselves and would choose to do it... Its wrong to use this statistic because its a lie that women are forced. Again this comes back to the differences between men and Women of course there are exceptions and im sure in any healthy relationship if the woman really didn't want to take the time off the man would comply

      2) This point is ridiculous, the argument is that men work harder and do longer hours in the OFFICE not in general, why would women get paid more for looking after kids... Again this point comes down to Women choose to do it on AVERAGE and any relationship where women are forced needs looking at. But again they literally prove why men would get paid more.

      4) Not sure how this is a point, they say that when women ask for raises it brings up negatives about them, is this not true for men? Men can't just walk in and ask for it and get it like that. Again like many of their points they aren't saying why its a myth they are saying why it happens its very confusing for me

      5) Men do go for the jobs that revolve around money this is a fact, on the averages. Also the point that wages fell when women is obvious. So the designer sector, this is simple supply and demand there's a certain amount of jobs and not enough workers so the pay is highier then imagine in 50 years the work force doubles in size as females are now getting these jobs, a work force does not double in size without a reduction in pay

So i watched it and to be honest It wasn't very good. Men on average get paid more than women, this is a fact. I put forward points to why this isn't sexiest and too be honest they put the same points forward. Its just all about averages.

I didn’t even bother reading this past the first chunk of text, where you tried to excuse whatever you were about to say by calling yourself a feminist with female friends.
That’s like a racist excusing their racism by stating they have black friends.

Thats hilarious, read my argument, read my mytakes i give a background and set up the position i am coming from and why... I was distancing myself from Alt-right movements who believe that the genders are completely equal ffs, i even quoted a feminist movement i really like. Emma Watson when she lead the HeForShe literally says you all have female friends, sisters, daughters mothers, so why dont you support them, I was repeating this point from her.. Please refrain from Comments like yours, I dont mind but some people would be turned against the feminist movement by purists like yourself

I always ask the feminists I know complain about the gender pay gap about the job they do, their college education, the hours they work, the sick days they take, about asking for a raise, about pursuing promotion, their willingness to move to another job if there is more money, how far they are willing to travel to a job, their willingness to work overtime etc and then ask guys the same questions and comparing the answers it's clear why guys get paid more.

Isn't is always fascinating that feminists and SJWs NEVER complain that there are more homeless men than women, more men in prison than women, more men committing suicide than women, more men going to war than women, more men in dangerous jobs than women, and more men offering themselves up to be part of something greater than women? I've always found that interesting.

Says the white devil LOL. No, women don't have to executive positions because of systematic bias. It's wrong to assume that women aren't willing to put in the effort, they are, as long as guys are willing to put in the domestic and emotional work to allow them the opportunities that women have afforded men throughout history. The glass ceiling exists partially when men are unwilling to take up the slack in the home.

I love how this came back to being men's fault. It is not a systematic problem at all, it would just be relationship based. I'm sure many men would support their SO as much as they phhysically could if she was focused on career or education. Some either can't or few wouldn't out of jealousy, but I'm sure that relationship wouldn't last long.

I think I read somewhere that it isn't a myth, but it's not a severe gap. Like $0.97 to the dollar. Not a huge disparity, but still an issue. Also, single women, without kids, make even more than women with kids and even men, I think it's like 1.03.

It's not a problem. If you compare any two existing measurements expect a slight difference. No two people are the exact same height for example (very often)

That is correct, the unexplainable wage gap is about 2-4 %, which is not enough to make a conclusion out of it. It could easily be things we cannot quantifiably measure, or it might simply be a coincidence as you cannot expect things to be 50-50 even if both competitors as well as the starting points are exactly the same.

You are not “for women” if all your take is doing is giving a pass for most of the men here to come and bash women on the premise that in reality there is a pay gap. So this so called feminist post is cancelled

In your take you missed to call out the men who ridicule women who claim there is a pay gap when there is facts and stats that support it. You haven’t called out the people who just think that women having a job is enough and shouldn’t ask for more. You didn’t even address at culture and other aspect of society that point to why women may have different jobs, attitudes to higher paying jobs and struggles. You and most people here are only going based on their personal perceptions

They're actually is a pay gap between genders. Considering hours worked and results of that work, if all is equal, women actually earn more than men. The whole gender pay Gap claiming women earn less is because women perform less, do lesser quality work, bring in less Revenue to their employer, and are overall more expensive to employ.

Most of our contractors have to decide their own pay and on average the girls get paid more.
