Actually am not aware of it at all. I was just searching for the word Pan because someone I know told me they were Pan. I have laughed and felt a guilty conscience about it. While searching for the word, I have started discovering terms. Then I thought "why not share it so people accusing women to be all bisexual and lesbians to stop and see how wrong they were"
My father-in-law lives in Indiana where things like LGBTQ are umm... hush-hush. Anyway, he's a history buff and he loves flags. He always has a flag of a different country or some historical thing flying in his front yard. Well, my wife and I were in San Francisco one day so we went by a shop in the Castro and got him a BDSM flag. He flew it for an entire day before he realized what it was. He got a lot of questions from his neighbors. It was cool because he's kind of an asshole with very traditional views.
Man, that was a bit harsh of thing to do to your father, but hopefully he understood the sense of humor. You got me a good laughter with it. flags, terms, labels, etc... they are so many. I was simply searching for the meaning of Pan, and stumbled on many other things.
Agender, Gender queer, Bigender, Gender Variant, Pangender makes ZERO sense. I would love someone to give me a detailed explanation on how that actually works in everyday life.
I admire your curiosity and was confused the same way you are when I first started searching. It seems there is a difference between who we are sexually attracted to and what gender we consider to be or romantically attract to. It gets confusing. You don't have to memorize or know anything, just a small hint in case someday someone mentions a term, you will not feel lost in the conversation maybe. Honestly, I just went and made this search for people who are Pan because it is usually confused with bi and it upsets Pan people. To respect what they say, I had to search and learn about it. You don't know, maybe one day your life partner will tell you she is Pan herself.
I'm okay with any sexual orientation or identity, but this overly complicated acronym is just stupid. LGBT+ would have been enough, now you have lgbtqhcrhmsikesjngpéssnhpsdrhnshnsdgnskegbaseuzhsbezjhgbskzsebeslzgbsjzhbgljgsegb+2 squared?
I am glad you enjoyed the Take dear and thank you for participating. There are many terms and labels, we all hate "Labeling" but it is happening in real life, so the best I can do is learn and try to be less ignorant to defend a friend for example. One of my friends got accused to be gay, while he was Pan. It was the day he came out and I felt stupid with my ignorance. As soon as I knew, I defended him because he was my friend, and not because he was not straight. I don't like movements, but I do like to have the good arguments when defending a friend.
Thank you dear for sharing your honest opinion and participating. Sorry for the people who are playing the down voting game. Was not expecting too many haters as matter of fact :-(
i am fine with people being in the lgbtq+ comunity i love everybody for who they are no matter what they cause they are just human like the rest of us are if a boy wants to wear makup that perfectly fine if a girl wants to wear boy clothes or look like a boy thats fine if a boy wants to cross dress he can do that if a girl wants tocross dress he can as long as it akes them happy they can do whatever they want and love whhoever they want i was born a girl and i feel like a boy but my family would never respect my pronouns but only my side of the family would i do things to make myself happy and everybody elese should to love who u want be who u want
Thank you dear Angelina. Always encouraging words. Glad you like it and sorry for people who are just going and down voting everything. I guess grow ups with childish behavior are to be found everywhere :-(
Seems like you've covered a lot of bases, and it's always nice to know people have learned something, but I don't exactly understand why you're inviting me to this take. I have nothing to do with this community.
Dear @cherryphi82 thank you for participating, as matter of fact I do invite all my followers/following to every question or take I do post and you are free to join and participate if you want to, no hard feelings :-) This take is not related to the community, just read the first few lines and you will know that it is not intended to a certain group of people. Those were my own research for general information and I thought I would share it in G@G because I have seen people accusing others while they were completely wrong just for the fact they are ignorant about a certain term. If a close person to you comes out and says they are Pan for example, would you really understand what they mean? Guys, please, keep it a mature discussion with no fights :-) We are here to exchange thoughts and ideas, not to work out fights. We all have different point of views and I respect you guys even if mine were different. You were polite to respond to the invitation and I appreciate the act!!
Sincerely sorry to know that. You can tell me honestly and I will stop following you. No hard feelings, as long as I won't be bothering you or making you feel uncomfortable.
See what people get all confused about this issue? See why some people need to protect kids or small children from getting all confused regarding that. Many genders, many options. When a straight man and a straight woman will always be a m straight man and a straight woman period, there nothing in the middle
Dear anonymous, thank you for sharing your honest opinion and participating, I appreciate a lot. This post was only intended to share a "Terminology" nothing else. If two girls want to be together, or two guys, then let them be, they are not criminals. Trans* people have a medical problem, and it is their choice to either reassign a sex or get a treatment to continue as the gender they were assigned at birth. However, some cases are just complicated. I am a straight guy and I have nothing against people who just happen to not be straight only. I certainly have no right at all to judge them. On the contrary, you can only be less ignorant and respect people. Imagine one of your siblings or children faced a hard situation and were afraid to come out to you just because of your offensive behavior towards non straight people. How would you feel the closest people to you not trusting you with their secret?
Well, this just makes it even more confusing to me. It's all just so ridiculous. Disturbed people have put in a lot of time trying to figure out what they are and what to call themselves -- and have persuaded many people to accept them as whatever they say they are. It's like psychologists just threw their hands up and said, 'I give up'.
I am really sorry to know that dear. Racism and discrimination is a tough subject, mostly every body is against me for posting this take while it had nothing to do with any kind of movement, only a terminology post. I have seen posts where some people were accusing women to be bisexual while they were clearly saying they were Pan. I was surprised by the word. Have searched for it and made this post to share the definitions for terms. I have invented nothing. At least you are married and have a family, some people don't and are getting abused, bullied and discriminated.
Exactly my point dear Anonymous. If more people start to show the good example, then others will have to join the party or get left alone in their corner. But even though, it is for understanding people to go and give them a hand so they can peacefully live. Having much racism, discrimination and anger inside us won't be good for our health. I feel like people are becoming like time bombs ready to explode, while they could get rid of the bomb and have inner peace with themselves.
LGBT means let a tiny portion of a country change the country to suit them. Such as the gender bathroom bill. Everyone shouldn't change to suit a few people. Trans people think they are entitled to everything.
Thank you for sharing honestly your own opinion, and would be glad if you elaborate your point of view more. What do you really mean? Sorry for my ignorance in advance :-)
Trans people make up a tiny percent of the overall population, yet they are always pushing to change laws and society to suit them. They want everyone else to change to adapt to them. They're selfish. 1% of the population dictates what the other 99% do.
Yeah, now I get your point of view. Am not talking honestly about people trying to change others, I just take into consideration people who have real medical conditions and are having hard times coming out or transforming, etc... Imagine how hard it could get for your best friend to have you by his side during his transformation process? Some people have nobody supporting them. All of their friends and families turned their back on them. Cert, there are fake LGBT people, and I don't want to talk about any movement, I want to talk about people who happen to have a sexual orientation other than hetero and are bullied or abused. You shouldn't change anything as matter of fact.
My question to you is "in case one of your friends comes out and tells you he/she is something different than straight, what would you do? turn your back on them? end a friendship? or just accept them for who they are?"
Thank you for participating and sharing your honest opinion. It was indeed more simple before, but we cannot deny that the terms are out in real life. Someone mentioned to me once the term "Pan", I felt stupid, searched for it and found all the terms in this Take.

Ah, you finally took to research. I'm proud of you, my little small child.
(Kindly ignore my weirdness.)
Thank you dear :-)
Glad you have participated and hope you liked the take.
Whatever is your weirdness, I respect you for who you are.
Thank you :)
You are very welcome dear ;-)
I didn't really read most of your Take but I'm pretty sure most of those flags don't exist outside of San Francisco.
Actually am not aware of it at all.
I was just searching for the word Pan because someone I know told me they were Pan.
I have laughed and felt a guilty conscience about it.

Funny story (at least I think so)...

Totally agree with you, and this is what I have actually found and mentioned in the post.
LGBT is more user friendly and more used ;-)
This was very well done. Thank you. I've actually learned about other sexualities as well as being better able to identify myself.
I am glad you enjoyed the Take dear and thank you for participating.

Exactly don’t disrespect it. And thanks I didn’t know many of those.
Okay, why are these people downvoting for no reason?
@Angelina25 the haters
It's so stupid tho!
Thank you dear for sharing your honest opinion and participating.
Sorry for the people who are playing the down voting game.
Was not expecting too many haters as matter of fact :-(
@Angelina25 ikr
It’s aight asker.
Did you mean by "aight" the following?
aight. sentence substitute, adverb. an informal or dialect word for all right.
I have just discovered that thanks to you dear omgjassy, thank you :-)
Indeed
Great, a new word added to my vocabulary ;-)

Thank you dear Angelina.
Always encouraging words.

I guess grow ups with childish behavior are to be found everywhere :-(
Ah I didn't even realize that they had downvoted lol. It is 'kay. I don't mind them. It's funny actually. :)
Sorry for the children who joined from the playground to hit colorful buttons ;-)
Anyways, I am truly thankful and glad for your participation dear.
No problem :)

He was being a Polite person? xx
@Paris13 That's such a bullshit answer, you might as well not say anything at all.
cherry show respect to gag queen miss Paris!!!
Bullshit answers are her trademark. I'm surprised she didn't add one of her little rhymes.
@BlueCoyote I see ;)
Dear @cherryphi82 thank you for participating, as matter of fact I do invite all my followers/following to every question or take I do post and you are free to join and participate if you want to, no hard feelings :-)

Well received dear Cherry.
Again, I apologize for inviting you to participate, even though you have had the choice whether to share or not.
Just go fuck yourself and your cloying sappy attitude of faux kindness.
Thank you!

Yeah well, nature isn't all black and white. Get over it.
And please stop patronizing kids. They're far smarter than you seem to think.
@BlueCoyote Totally agree with you

Treat others the way you would like to be treated!
The way I would like to be treated is that people would keep their private lives (what they do in their bedrooms) private.
As an A-sexual married woman with kids I often get a lot of discrimination and abuse from other LGBTQ people.
I am really sorry to know that dear.
Racism and discrimination is a tough subject, mostly every body is against me for posting this take while it had nothing to do with any kind of movement, only a terminology post.

@Skeptic002, is that you?
@JenSCDC
did you miss me already lol
Treat others the way you would like to be treated!
Even though I am a homosexual, I feel like labels are getting out of hand sometimes
Totally agree with you.
I was surprised with all the terms that jumped in front of my face while only searching for the meaning of Pan.

Oh another MyTake informing people how to feel comfortable in their skin is by finding the right label.
Nobody is making anybody say or label anything.
I do respect your own thought.
My curiosity pushed me to search and learn more about LGBT, is it bad?
honestly, who cares? they are on the way down, they do not reproduce
Certainly you dear Nicko, as for you have participated!
I liked it when there were two sexes and "other".
Thank you for participating and sharing your honest opinion.
It was indeed more simple before, but we cannot deny that the terms are out in real life.
Someone mentioned to me once the term "Pan", I felt stupid, searched for it and found all the terms in this Take.
This community is so rediculious. Pan sexual where your attracted to pans I mean come on people... im just here for xp
Actually "pan" is ancient Greek for "all." ^_^
I was not aware of that dear @DinaM !!!
Thank you for sharing this info.
I appreciate your honesty dear @Gregisthebest , and thank you for participating.
Hope you got the points you wanted too :-)
