War: Where Does It Stop?

Given the modern age and the welfare of people in working together finding solutions and peace, wouldn't it also be appropriate to cease fire and approach differently?

Yes, unfortunately there will always be people out there willing to (intentionally) fight with the outcome of hurting people or even death to whatever purpose they may have in mind. Though i think that the countries all over the world, who seek better economies and welfare should approach such factors differently from how they're doing it right now.

One of the many problems with war is the massive amount of money that flows through it, politics and governments aren't necessarily obligated, or feel responsible, to cease their wars for the sake of humanity. Sure, like said in the first paragraph, there will always be people who will get their hands on guns for the sake of protesting or seeking harm to the innocent, but that doesn't mean that the good guys should be (willingly) accepting the gun fight for the sake of money or power that will be managed with it.

Along the money and power involved, there's also lots of innocent lives at stake, as again, where most politics or government defences don't even bother to spare their lives for the sake of their vision, calling it "acceptable casualties". Just for comparing's sake, ever considered how light on their feet they are, or heart broken they are when someone touches their civilians?, yet if they do it in a country of war it will be accepted as "acceptable casualties".

I'm actually in the army so i don't want to sound hypocrite, but i'm only serving under our flag within our country and even if on emission i'd only partake in humanitarian peace missions for the safety of those who can't protect themselfs from the guys who seek harm by guns or other types of violence.

Please, I know a lot of people think drastically different from each other so do share you opinion below.
