The sl*t walk is just another excuse to exposing your body and acting sl*tty 🙄 I don't see how walking around naked or half naked, condemns harrassments.
Also, terrible horrible way to pass a message to younger girls. This all sl*t walk is just trying to promote that gross disrespectful behavior.

Well, you've successfully missed the entire point of this parade/movement.
The women here are topless/dressed skimpily to protest against people blaming rape on what women were wearing at the time.
The message is 'Just because you can see my skin, does not give you the right to my body.'
How many times have women been asked 'What were you wearing?' after they report a rape?
The correct answer is 'It doesn't matter!'
And that is what this movement is saying.
So, yeah, it doesn't make sense if you think it was to reclaim the word 'slut'. But that's not what it's about. So your point is what makes no sense.

I am not conservative enough to agree with everything you’re saying. Sexual empowerment has many forms. To be quite honest, if a chick walks topless (Something men do all the time) and someone sexually assaults her, the dude probably actually had a problem if he can’t calm down after seeing some tiddies.
These women enjoy what they’re doing. Different people respect themselves and their bodies different. Some don’t eat meat, some don’t do drugs, some don’t drink, some don’t take medicine.
Completely agree, these people are brainwashed steriotypes of themselves and typically can't hold an argument. And that is a shame because there usually is a lot of pain underneath to make this work.
I have the same issue with the LGBT movement where they keep acting redicilous and then demand respect for it. While if they instead acted like its the most natural thing in the world almost nobody would object.
whores ought to learn that they are whore- because when they know thats when they will stop, the same thing goes for men i don't think these women really care about destroying labels they just want to exercise power there -message is contradicting their actions. It will only get worse.
Meanwhile women in the Middle East countries are truly suffering from inequality. They are the ones that really need equality.

My own brother thinks that a woman should be held accountable for her rape if she is wearing revealing clothing. My brothers words "A woman is to blame if she gets raped at the beach if she wears a bikini".

Those are all very valid questions in a criminal case and it's not victim blaming.
There was a woman who was walking home alone one night and was raped and killed by an autistic man in my city earlier this year. The man was immediately caught, arrested and charged. It was a huge media event and there were several memorial services for the poor lady.
A senior Police officer I know through a friend was interviewed by the media and in a desperate attempt to lower the chances of these gruesome events happening, he warned the public to be careful about being out alone at night...
.. And he was instantly blasted by the media, feminists and women's rights groups for 'victim blaming', he wasn't victim blaming, he'd arrested and charged the person who was to blame. He was simply giving the public advice to help keep them safe.
There will ALWAYS be evil people out there, one commits a crime and they get caught and another one springs up. People need to be cautious.

Guys don't get the shame for it because guys don't give a shit about other guys getting laid. Women on the other hand spew those words around like none other to destroy someone socially or to elevate their status so they can be a prime candidate. It's evolutionary survival technique. Nailed it. I sense there's a lot more of unity between men than between women. I'm not a fan of using the word slut, but sometimes, it's needed, and I apply it equally. I'm not afraid to call other men sluts or whores if they deserve it. I've never seen a man use words to twisted, evil, etc as i've seen from women. And even when men say certain things, in reality, they are flexible. Maybe I'm biased, but this is from what I know.
Ok so I don't agree with the whole walking down the streets naked, it's just not decent for everyone else not involved to see. But can we not slut shame, guys get no where near the amount of hate for having multiple partners as girls do, but that is the way our society works and it's had to change an opinion that has been so deeply ingrained into our culture.
Also it doesn't matter what the victim wears unless they consented it's still rape, women should be allowed to wear what they like and men too but not to the extent of going nude in the street.
You're obviously entitled to your own opinion of "REAL strong women" but sleeping with 10 partners isn't an excessive amount in this day and age, people are getting married later and later it's mid 30s now as opposed to early 20s 40 years ago.

I never said that those who don't have more than one or two partners should be mocked, but we certainly shouldn't be shamed for having 10 or upwards partners, so long as both parties have consented and use protection, or whatever they think is appropriate I don't think anyone else should comment on it, it's not my business.
I agree with the second reply and I thinks it's disgusting how plenty of other women are calling these women "thots" and "sluts". However my comment was mainly directed to society in general. In my school at least girls are shamed for sleeping with guys that they aren't in a relationship with, yet when a guy does exactly the same thing he's a "lad", I just don't see why there's a difference in treatment.

Everyone I know uses protection, where I'm from that's drilled into us at an early age that it's the safest way and we have access to free condoms, as many as we like or need, maybe that's not the case where you're from.
Sex outside of a relationship isn't used so much as a bargaining chip as sex within a relationship, many people just have one night stands and are done with it. Sex can be a fun thing, it doesn't tie you to that person forever.

I have no problem with nudity whatsoever. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The majority of rape in this good old USA is because men aren't exposed to things like nudity enough to get use to it or bored with it. The US has the highest prison population in the entire world, 22% of the world's prison population and 254% more rapes than countries like Russian and France where nudity is common and most of the population is men due to sex laws. Our laws are backwards and it's been done so by design, it's sex prohibition on men and it's men that make up the majority of the US prison population. Our laws are suppose to be formed based on Christian Judeo principles and yet nudity is not a sin. Coincidentally age of consent isn't a Christian Judeo principled law either, it's a feminist driven law. Mary mother of Jesus was 12 years old while Moses father of Jesus was around 65 or older.

Anyway, I'm not really sure what the point is. I'm pretty sure society teaches BOTH "don't get raped" AND "don't rape anyone." Just like society teaches BOTH "don't get robbed" and "don't rob anyone." Yet for some reason certain people seem to go bat-shit crazy anytime you point out steps that can be taken to reduce the likelihood of being a victim in one kind of crime (rape) whereas, for whatever reason, they wouldn't object to taking prudent steps to reduce the chances of being a victim of robbery (like, lock your car doors, don't leave valuables in plain sight, etc.) I don't understand why that is.
