I am a British Pakistani. I always observed that our Pakistani cricketers and actors always got more love in India than they did in Pakistan.

Indian host called Kapil Sharma invited Shoaib Akhtar and Waseem Akhtar on his show.

Even Shahid Afridi, the former Pakistani captain, said he got more love in India.

As a result, my Pakistani media made a big fuss about that statement.

When I saw the press conference of Pakistani cricket captain called Sarfaraz Ahmed, I saw positive comments from Indians defending his English and praising his personality.

On the other hand, my Pakistan banned a Bollywood film about an Indian cricketer called MS Dhoni.

Pakistan even banned a Bollywood film called Raees, where a Pakistani actress called Mahira Khan worked with a Bollywood actor called Shah Rukh Khan.

This comparison says a lot.

Pakistani actors and singers always worked with Bollywood.

Both are Khans. Shah Rukh Khan is the King of Bollywood. There are many Khans in Bollywood.

The London Mayor is a Khan.

British Pakistani Boxing Champion is a Khan.

And who can forget Genghis Khan, the man who began the Mughal Empire in India.

Khans rule the world.

If only cricket and bollywood were the entire scope of Indo-Pak relations. Reality is Kashmir, Bangladesh, Kargil, strikes, ceasefire violations, extreme use of propaganda leading to hatred even between the populace of both sides, a bloody partition history, Pak-China-Russia-India, Afghanistan, Central Asia... the list is innumerable.
