This is kind of bullshit. I am not a conservative Ans intake my family 110% serious. To say that because I’m not conservative makes me less serious about it is pompous bullshit. Really. It’s bull shit on a paper plate
No, it isn't. Fascism (dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy) is all about the authoritarian mindset, which is the opposite of liberalism (liberty, consent of the governed, and equality before the law.).
@goaded the term “liberal” in many modern contexts doesn’t reference classical liberalism from the enlightenment. Instead in the US it’s thought to mean Democrats (for example).
Liberal values like liberty, right to free expression, free markets, individualism, etc are not values that many left leaning persons (ie American democrats or “modern liberals”) espouse. That’s the distinction I’d draw.
I guess it's a question of what liberty means. Should the people in the majority be at liberty to disparage others, or should everybody be free to act, believe or express oneself as one chooses?
Look at antifa threatening to hurt and kill anyone who disagrees with them, tyrannical governments were almost always liberal and their first step was to disarm their civilians
Any regime can be authoritarian. There has been no shortage of dictatorships, suppression of opposition parties, coup d'etats, etc from Communist or Fascist regimes. The idea that only "right wing" governments can exercise such power is historically inaccurate.
@goaded Liberty is about the rights of the individual, not the group. Wealthy or poor, black or white, straight or gay, whatever, all should be allowed to be free to act as they please (presuming that their expression of freedom doesn’t impose upon another’s)
"antifa threatening to hurt and kill anyone who disagrees with them" They don't, though. Everybody killed in the name of politics in the US in the last few years have been on the left. AntiFa occasionally punch or throw milkshakes at people, some of whom aren't actual Nazis, that's the worst that they do.
Those are a few people that did those things and we give full coverage to them, we don't have thousands of people committing violence and working overtime to sweep everything under the rug like the left does.
That's what you all say, but you can count on my man, Steven Crowder to cut through the bullshit you guys put out, and expose the truth you tried desperately to hide. https://youtu.be/JwIJccMH1Wg
"Liberty is about the rights of the individual, not the group. Wealthy or poor, black or white, straight or gay, whatever, all should be allowed to be free to act as they please (presuming that their expression of freedom doesn’t impose upon another’s)"
I'm not sure that can work. If your expression of freedom is to not serve Muslim/gay/trans customers, say, it's effectively imposing upon a group's freedom to buy at that shop, and groups are made up of individuals. That said, I understand someone's freedom not to make a cake with a swastika on it. It's complicated, but I think it's also a matter of choice; nobody chose to be LGBT, nobody chose to have Muslim parents, but deciding to choose to glorify a regime your country fought against is a choice (the same would go for a hammer and sickle).
OK, 30 seconds in, and it's about a two year old vox article (so the video's 2 years old); don't you think things might have changed since then? He's complaining that vox doesn't name check him, but he doesn't link to the article, so evens. FWIW, it's this one:
You're not watching him because he exposes the lies you guys try to perpetuate and he's logical, moral, consistent, peaceful, smart, and has the people's best interest at heart, all the things that leftists like you are not, and that's why you're mad, that's why you try to sensor him.
One man committed an act of violence out of how many? You're acting like us conservatives support nazis when we don't, they are racist and they can be violent. The difference between us and you is that we don't give pardons to them and provide full coverage of them while you constantly sweep left wing domestic terrorists under the rug and support them.
Name one lie he's told, and it's hard to find information on them because leftist media keeps on taking down footage of antifa being violent and saying it was a peaceful protest.
It’s a faulty generalization to take an individual and tar a whole group woth their values unless those values are inherent to the position. Just like I wouldn’t say that all Democrats are filanderers because Pres Clinton was one I wouldn’t say all Repubs are filanderers or accept that because Trump is.
Im conservative religious yada yada yada. My best friend is liberal on most things atheist and guess who gets my kids should i pass. Yep her. Her family values r just as strong as mine
The grammar does make it hard to understand, but I believe you’re saying something to the effect of, “Liberals can and do have just as strong a love for their family as Conservatives.” To which I’d agree as stated in MyTake. That’s why I focused mostly on marriage, dating, and siring children. In these realms I could understand a distinction in relative numbers for the reasons I listed above.
Women more over are slutty, bitchs A girl on here once told me. So unless you like a whore, who loves, hoe, hoe, hoeing.. Your not going to a lot of pussy sucess.. Women like the bad boy whores...

Why is Libertarianism considered more right wing then Conservatism? It's not!
Well a lot of human behavior is virtue signaling, I don’t think that’s relegated to one political side. When lefty guys talk about how great Star Wars TLJ is despite it being an abortion of a movie because they have a strong purple haired feminist female general is just as virtue signaling as a conservative guy saying they’re not interested in sex except for child rearing (or my stepfather bragging that he hadn’t masturbated in half a decade to pastors). Both are forms of virtue signaling.
Yeah he was a prick. Also talked about divorcing my mom because she got pregnant with his baby, all the while he was saying that he wanted to be a pastor.

Let me guess, you're a conservative? lol this is one hell of a reach if I've ever seen one. I nearly spit up my water reading this
No. As stated in the myTake I’m liberal leaning. More libertarian than anything, but that’s neither here nor there. You sure you read it?
This is kind of bullshit. I am not a conservative Ans intake my family 110% serious. To say that because I’m not conservative makes me less serious about it is pompous bullshit. Really. It’s bull shit on a paper plate
I’m not conservative either. Did you read the take, or just get angry about the title?
It was late at night. I will re read. But we’ll see
Cool
Except for all the hypocrites who cheat on their spouses and leave their children.
Sure there are hypocrites everywhere. I presume the question was more about relative numbers
Maybe, but there's also the matter that they tend to be the leaders. Trump, Gingrich, etc.
@goaded as compared to whom? Clinton?
I date conservative guys sometime. They have a lot of qualities I like, just different ones than other types of guys
Anyone who takes modern relationships seriously has their head on backwards.
Hmm?
Fascism is much closer to the liberal side historically, but I agree with what you said otherwise.
No, it isn't. Fascism (dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy) is all about the authoritarian mindset, which is the opposite of liberalism (liberty, consent of the governed, and equality before the law.).
@goaded that’s certainly true if we’re talking old school classical liberalism
How does modern liberalism differ?
@goaded the term “liberal” in many modern contexts doesn’t reference classical liberalism from the enlightenment. Instead in the US it’s thought to mean Democrats (for example).
Liberal values like liberty, right to free expression, free markets, individualism, etc are not values that many left leaning persons (ie American democrats or “modern liberals”) espouse. That’s the distinction I’d draw.

Unfortunately, whoever told you that was making it up.

Obviously you didn't watch the video and are very misinformed, very typical leftist
Give me a chance, you only posted it 6 minutes ago and it's 16 minutes long. Fair warning, I think Crowder's not all that impressive.
Because he exposes lies and can make logical consistent points?
OK, 30 seconds in, and it's about a two year old vox article (so the video's 2 years old); don't you think things might have changed since then? He's complaining that vox doesn't name check him, but he doesn't link to the article, so evens. FWIW, it's this one:
www.vox.com/.../strikethrough-antifa-trap-violent-protest
Steven Crowder addresses that as well
60 arrests is a "startling number"; over 2000 people in the UK were arrested in Extinction Rebellion protests, it doesn't mean they were violent.
"just a smige of murder..." Fuck him, Antifa haven't murdered anyone.
Oh, now we're talking about worldwide AntiFa? "parent's basements"? "Ice picks"?
I'm not going to watch any more, the man's a moron.
You're not watching him because he exposes the lies you guys try to perpetuate and he's logical, moral, consistent, peaceful, smart, and has the people's best interest at heart, all the things that leftists like you are not, and that's why you're mad, that's why you try to sensor him.
"Steven Crowder addresses that as well" What?
I'm not watching him because he keeps lying, Name one person AntiFa has killed.
Watching a little further, antifa's hitting people, with no context. How about this guy?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVDXXjqo66w
Do you not see the difference?
One man committed an act of violence out of how many? You're acting like us conservatives support nazis when we don't, they are racist and they can be violent. The difference between us and you is that we don't give pardons to them and provide full coverage of them while you constantly sweep left wing domestic terrorists under the rug and support them.

if you mean beating your wife and kids yes conservative men are better at it.
It depends on the person I mean I am a conservative but I hate kids and I don't want them but family is still number 1 to me
Lol just bring up Donald Trump and Roy Moore, that whole argument breaks down
That’s a faulty generalization if ever I’ve seen one.
Why, neither of them have good morals. One likes raping young girls and the other one loves cheating on his wife with pornstars
It’s a faulty generalization to take an individual and tar a whole group woth their values unless those values are inherent to the position. Just like I wouldn’t say that all Democrats are filanderers because Pres Clinton was one I wouldn’t say all Repubs are filanderers or accept that because Trump is.
NO! But no surprise a question like this would appear on GAG!
Hmm?
Im a conservative n this is complete horseshit.
Explain
Im conservative religious yada yada yada. My best friend is liberal on most things atheist and guess who gets my kids should i pass. Yep her. Her family values r just as strong as mine
That grammar tho
True. But im busy dude i move constantly. Dont be such a stickler
The grammar does make it hard to understand, but I believe you’re saying something to the effect of, “Liberals can and do have just as strong a love for their family as Conservatives.” To which I’d agree as stated in MyTake. Why is Libertarianism considered more right wing then Conservatism? It's not!
It’s not. Libertarians are on the y axis and conservativism is on the x axis. The four quadrant model is far better than the two quadrant model.
How much of that is virtue-signalling, though?
Well a lot of human behavior is virtue signaling, I don’t think that’s relegated to one political side. When lefty guys talk about how great Star Wars TLJ is despite it being an abortion of a movie because they have a strong purple haired feminist female general is just as virtue signaling as a conservative guy saying they’re not interested in sex except for child rearing (or my stepfather bragging that he hadn’t masturbated in half a decade to pastors). Lol @ your stepfather XD
Yeah he was a prick. Also talked about divorcing my mom because she got pregnant with his baby, all the while he was saying that he wanted to be a pastor.
You pretty much answered your own question.
I didn’t ask a question
@Embracethepain
Yawwwwwwwww
I do in general I would never date a liberal
