Couldn't agree more... It was truly the tiny push I needed to make everything I believed in so firmly crumble because I finally had time to think.
COVID really has made a lot of people listen and start to think for themselves. It pulled a lot of my close friends closer while pushing other ‘friends’ away. It’s crazy what happens after a global pandemic, huh? Haha
This is why nexplenon needs to be free. I have nexplenon and I never had an oops! Now with pills you can still end up pregnant and condoms breaks sometimes. This is what upsets me about christians If you have a kid out of wedlock christians always shame the woman for it. If woman choose abortion christians will shame woman for it. If you have sex not being married Christian's will shame you for it. Maybe if contraceptives are free and available for everyone it wouldn't be such a huge issue. Catholics don't even allowed birth control. The way I see it , It is a sin to keep popping kids have them live in a abusive , not be able to provide for them.
I feel led to pray for you whether you believe or not.
Dear Lord please hear me. She has fallen prey to satan just as I have in times past. I beg You pick her up again and show her the way, the truth, and the life which is Your Son. Please forgive her for believing the lies of the snake.
I would like to meet her up there with You one day. Remind her that we are not our own, that You gave us life, therefore we do not have the right to take it. I pray you use my words for her benefit. I pray this in Jesus’ precious name, amen.
The snake is the symbol of women's sexual power. What a shame you are so indoctrinated that you believe that it is a representative of evil. I feel called to pray for you - Serpent of Power, bestow upon this deluded man-child a real experience of the sexual power of women, so he can understand that moralizing and seeking to control women's biology is not the way to the divine.
There's never a conversation on this topic without expressing a side on the issue. I'm glad you presented both sides of what you are thinking. Everyone has to consider both sides of everything before making a decision.
I would like you to not stop researching into what other reasons their are into both sides of the issue. Gather all the real-life stories as well as the science. Question those who had to make the choice and how the felt afterward.
Why is everyone either 100% for abortion or 0% for abortion?
I have always been in the middle on this topic and feel that it is ok to abort in certain circumstances but morally wrong to abort in other circumstances.
Why would it be okay in some circumstances, but morally wrong in others? What makes it okay somewhere that doesn't make it okay somewhere else? Either its a baby that is being murdered, or its a cluster of cells being cleared out.
@Ninaface well lets take the approach that they are a life that is being murdered if so then if a woman in her 40s that has health problems gets pregnant and the doctor says that there is a big chance that she will not survive giving birth i would say that it is morally justified for her to get an abortion.
But if a jong and healthy woman gets pregnant whith consensual sex while she has access to all kinds of contraception then i find it morally unjustified for her to get an abortion.
But do note that i keep saying morally and not legally, i find that abortion should be legal i am just talking about morally and emotionally justifying the murder of a life.
If its a situation where its pick the mother or the child's life, that's the only time I find it to be justifiable. Personally, I've always known id choose the child. I couldn't live knowing I chose my life over my baby's. Its picking one life over the other, and that is easier rationalized. But otherwise, its taking one life for no permittable reason.
Good for you, I am proud of you. The hatred coming from everyone else is just a reflection of the exact reason you started thinking the way you do now. You are on the right side of history now.

It's so interesting to me how so many people don't understand the other side - I understand where Pro Choice people are coming from, I just now see that it's an emotionally charged discussion and that it has its roots in man-made religions. I'd rather have an abortion than raise a child without any money or energy, without being able to finish my education. Crazy how people can't digest that when it's simply about my life and my choices.
Children of religious couples end up pregnant and having abortions too. No abortion is ever an easy decision.
It is not natural for a mother to rip the baby from her wombed. killing her own child. It takes a very mentally disturbed person to go through with such an act simply as a method of contraception.
You see, just by looking at your profile I can make 2 assumptions, 1., you have never been pregnant (your profile shows that you identify as a guy, and given your statement, I highly doubt you've been pregnant/are trans [by all means, prove me wrong]), and 2., you are not a psychology major and you don't know much about mental health (I'm not either, so welcome to the party). Also, a fetus requires a lot of strain from the mother, so getting an abortion as a method of contraception seems quite reasonable, maybe realize you don't know everything about the other gender before spouting stuff like this.
@JustYourTypicalAsian I know that you are suffering from severe denial when you say it's "reasonable for a mother to kill her own child". Clearly something mentally wrong there. If you want to pass yourself off as sane, maybe you should tone down the outrageous statements before the attempt at trying to influence others.
Who actually answers these surveys? I bet a huge majority of people who ' responded' no reason failed to omit a reason (or to actually fill out) the participant survey. Google maps asks for feedback survey, people ask about my disability status every time I apply to a job. You can always ignore the survey and carry on with your day. Sounds like women at these centers had other things on their mind.
No offense but I don’t use the Bible as moral guide, you’re more than free disagree with my perspective, in fact I welcome the challenge, how ever you have a small and narrow view of the world based on your own experiences which you project onto other people.
You will never be pregnant, nor will you have a full comprehension of what that it is like and how that effects a person both physically and mentally. I CHOSE to have my son, I wasn’t forced, or coheres into giving birth. I take having and baby, and raising a child very seriously, something more people should do.
But at the end of the day it was my choice, and you not matter your religion do not get to dictate how I allow my body to be used.
The law always has and the law isn’t one person…. thankfully more and more woman are becoming lawmakers and leveling the plating field, but neither you nor your religion though get a say in what I can and cannot do. That goes a lot higher up than you will ever be.
@Subarugirl It's a child alright, but in its early stages. But It's alive, it's human and not the mother, but by definition, it's a child in an early stage.
@smølf if that were true why aren’t miscarriages investigated as homicides? Why shouldn’t women who end up having a spontaneous abortion be charged with murder?
Actually it’s not because it does happen… that actually happens in countries where abortion is illegal… and actually happens in the US as well.
That’s exactly what happened to Marshae Jones.
27-year-old African-American woman Marshae Jones was indicted by an Alabama grand jury on manslaughter charges when she lost her 5-month-old fetus after being shot. The person who shot Jones, whom the police claimed was acting in self-defense, was not charged in the shooting. Jones, however, was held responsible for being in a fight while pregnant, and faced up to 20 years in prison. Due to a dedicated group of activists and lawyers — and public backlash — charges were dropped and Jones was set free. Unfortunately, Jones’ case is not that unique. Since Roe v. Wade, there have been several cases in which women were arrested for miscarriage or stillbirth.
@Subarugirl It is not homicide from a legal perspective today, just like Slavery wasn't kidnapping in 1840 was not in the state of Georgia, if the victim was black.
@Xoxocutekitty Yeah, like a woman in on of the most vulnerable times in her life is going the just be like yeah my dad raped me and I don't want the child, come on now... The fact they even ask is appalling. But what else could I expect from fucking FLORIDA jesus
@KrakenAttackin just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make them wrong. You sounds like and angry toddler calling people names because they don't agree with you... lol its kind of hilarious.
@Subarugirl You are, of course, describing yourself and your ilk. When pretty white girls hear something they don't like you stomp your feet, project, and default to your programming. This would be amusing if you weren't so dangerous.
Also, aren’t you glad you’re mom didn’t abort you? You’re here spreading shit lies about the pro life community. Forgive me if I value all human life and will be ready to defend the vulnerable. A person’s a person, no matter how small. Abortion is a cop out, sex with no consequences.
Please tell me where I spread false information. My mother is extremely religious, abortion was never an option for her. What point are you trying to make?
I’ve actually had the opposite happen. Everything I’ve been working toward for the last decade came crashing down during the pandemic and it became difficult to understand the point of anything. It was one of my lowest points and most of my beliefs and connection to God that I’d drifted away from all these years are the only thing that brought me back from the edge and kept me from losing hope in the future. I hope you find what you’re looking for.

"My final words are that I strongly believe that those that are actually pregnant, not law makers, should have the final say when it comes to abortion."
I personally think the child being murdered should have a say in the matter, don't you? It seems only fair.
@NicoletteXO OK, let me break this down for you so you can catch up. You used the fact that a young human embryo can't speak to justify killing him/her. I pointed out that your "logic" is deeply flawed because even newborn babies, who even most liberals wouldn't kill, are also unable to speak, clearly demonstrating your argument fails the test of the simplest logic. Your response was "Abortion is not applicable to six month old children". Huh? Talk about a non sequitur. Perhaps you got distracted?
Your position was to draw a line between clumps of cells and six month old children - simply because both don't (necessarily) speak. The line doesn't hold because it's an absurd and self-serving false equivalence.
Clumps of cells are the subject of abortion precisely because they are NOT children in the same capacity as a six month old child is.
Which is why there is a massive difference between killing a six month old child (and no one is suggesting we do that) versus aborting a three week old clump of cells. You're trying to pretend they are the same or similar. But they ain't.
@NicoletteXO I certainly know what a non sequitur is, and the fact you don't recognize you wrote one here just underscores that fact that my point is still lost on you.
I never said a fetus is the same as a six month old child, but by your own measure it truly is. Pull your head out of your ass long enough to come up with a valid one.
Also - just to be completely clear - you said "You used the fact that a young human embryo can't speak to justify killing him/her. " No - I never said that.
I responded to your comment that "I personally think the child being murdered should have a say in the matter, don't you? It seems only fair" by saying that "clumps of cells can't speak".
The primary point is not that they can't speak, but the fact that they are simply a clump of cells. The lack of speech is only relevant to the extent that it also comes part and parcel with a fundamental and wholesale lack of physical, emotional, mental and cognitive capacity and experience, as compared to a birthed human.
Now, I am not advocating for later stage abortions. That is a much more tricky moral conundrum.
However, in the very early stages, if proceeding with a pregnancy is going to pose extraordinary damage or hardship to a woman, her partner, other children and family, then it makes no sense to sacrifice the lives of many fully developed humans for the sake of some partly coagulated cells.
What, so you can have a sense of religious zeal vindicated? That's not pro-life. That's anti life as far as I'm concerned.
i think that it is up to you and anyone who they believe and what they want to do. no one should tell us what we need to do or what a woman wants with her body.

You don't live in Texas then.
Reading the Bible is often the first step to distancing yourself from it's outdated and rigid warped beliefs. Instead you're taking the core message, compassion for others and empathy and letting that inform your opinion. It's a step forward.
I went from pro-life to pro-choice after understanding that those with maladaptive genetics are the most likely to abort, and for them to voluntarily weed themselves out of the gene pool is a good thing.
Nobody is saying abortion should be used as birth control. She specifically said she is using birth control. Why do all these men have to jump to absurd and aggrandized moralising?
@BillyBalls birth control is something you use to prevent a pregnancy. It is never 100% effective, no matter what you use. Abortion may be necessary to arrest the proceeding of a pregnancy which has already begun. See the difference there? If you are very concerned about this, you can always encourage men to get reversible vasectomies, alongside their women taking birth control pills and using barrier methods.
@NicoletteXO I'm also fine with the Indian research for the reversible injection Vasectomies. The point I'm making is when you use Birth control and have sex, and still get pregnant then abortion should be the other form of birth control. Just not have sex otherwise accept the results.
Same goes for men, if you get a woman pregnant you should accept the results, if you didn't use birth control.
You've said on the one hand "The point I'm making is when you use Birth control and have sex, and still get pregnant then abortion should be the other form of birth control."
The above appears to be a point supporting abortion.
On the other hand, you say "Just not have sex otherwise accept the results... Same goes for men, if you get a woman pregnant you should accept the results, if you didn't use birth control."
I think everyone was once a pro-life also because everyone was once naive. When you actually start to think more and deeper about it, should actually be a logical reason of being emotional caring so much about something that doesn't even have any consciousness.
According to science, by 3 months a baby has more neural activity than a kitten/puppy the same pro choicers would tell us it's a crime to kill. Consciousness? Are you conscious when you're sleeping? And if not then I should be able to kill you since you just don't matter. Especially if you're a loner or I decide that your life is meaningless... regardless of what you think about it. Oh well.
Yeah here comes that "according to science" again. Really it is so easy to actually abuse on those words to make your claims seem more superior. You're talking about sleeping. A person who is sleeping was once conscious but a fetus was never conscious to begin with. You see that difference or do you just deliberately ignore that one?
According to science being born and unborn is different. According to science a fetus is a fetus and a human is a human. According to science a fetus cannot remember anything and according to science it doesn't say anything or speak and none of us remember what being a fetus was like just like none of us remember what being a sperm is like. Therefore in conclusion according to science it is not a born human life. So yes those facts i use are to make my conclusion. You're also using another facts to make you're conclusion. Because if you say science concludes that a fetus is a human being then all the other facts about a fetus will just contradict that conclusion. Therefore if you say it is a human being, if your opinion not a fact. It's also my opinion to say it's not a human being. But why should your conclusion only matter and be a supremacist about it? How about if pro-choice people try to put laws for pro-lifes forcing women to keep their fetus just to be fair? You don't like that? then keep your beliefs away from the lawbook
TLDR.. but after glancing at the first bit of your response: at birth a baby's brain has 100 BILLION neurons. A full grown cat has less than 1 billion neurons. The creation of neurons starts in the unborn child at 40 days. By the 2nd day of that the number of neurons is greater than that in a full grown cat. All I have to say. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK234146/
@hahahmm Then if you're making excuses not to read what I said, how do you expect me to read your one sided article when abortion had also been legal in lots of places for a good reason? Like what I said.
"Yeah here comes that "according to science" again. Really it is so easy to actually abuse on those words to make your claims seem more superior."
"Because if you say science concludes that a fetus is a human being then all the other facts about a fetus will just contradict that conclusion. Therefore if you say it is a human being, if your opinion not a fact. It's also my opinion to say it's not a human being. But why should your conclusion only matter and be a supremacist about it? How about if pro-choice people try to put laws for pro-lifes forcing women to keep their fetus just to be fair? You don't like that? then keep your beliefs away from the lawbook"
You can use your neuron facts but that alone is not enough to make your conclusion saying it is in "fact" a human being. The other facts i mention still stands.

What does religion have to do with religion?
Non religious people believe stealing and murder is wrong. Are you claiming that you don't believe in God those things are okay?
Sounds like since you were not capable of being in control of your own reproductive system, abortion is okay because it serves your own purpose.
That is a sad commentary on your own moral compass.

Why would some one give this a thumbs down and not explain why?

They'll use the argument about pregnancy even while the majority of the pro life advocates are women smh.
smh always zero accountability in the end. I've never dated a pro choicer and never will but to each their own.
Me neither and luckily I ended up marrying a Pro-Life, feminine, God-Fearing gal.
Those are the only ones who are wife material imho. I'm not wifing up a damn baby killer
Women use abortion as a form of convenience, pure and simple. Any woman who would murder her own child is capable of ANYTHING.
An embryo isn’t a child, it has the potential to become one. There is a difference. Sperm has the ability to create a child…

The fact that you are incapable of following a train of thought, to the extent that you actually believe it to be a non sequitur, is hilarious.
i think that it is up to you and anyone who they believe and what they want to do.
no one should tell us what we need to do or what a woman wants with her body.
You don't live in Texas then.
Reading the Bible is often the first step to distancing yourself from it's outdated and rigid warped beliefs. Instead you're taking the core message, compassion for others and empathy and letting that inform your opinion. It's a step forward.
What?
@BillyBalls I'm not here to teach you English.
Apparently, with your ignorance you are incapable of teaching me anything.
@BillyBalls Sure. I can see all the many people just like you, trying to puzzle out what I wrote.
Oh wait. It's only you.
I went from pro-life to pro-choice after understanding that those with maladaptive genetics are the most likely to abort, and for them to voluntarily weed themselves out of the gene pool is a good thing.
I believe that birth control should be the true argument
Abortion should be a last resort for rape/incest/harm to the mother
Abortion shouldn't be used as birth control
Let people be responsible for your actions when you have sex and accept you may get pregnant.
Well sad!!!
Nobody is saying abortion should be used as birth control. She specifically said she is using birth control. Why do all these men have to jump to absurd and aggrandized moralising?
@NicollettteXO If abortion isn't a form of birth control why have an abortion in the first place?
Same goes for men, if you get a woman pregnant you should accept the results, if you didn't use birth control.
otherwise don't ask the man to support the child
What you're saying is not clear.
This appears to be AGAINST abortion.
Could you clarify what your position is?
I think everyone was once a pro-life also because everyone was once naive. When you actually start to think more and deeper about it, should actually be a logical reason of being emotional caring so much about something that doesn't even have any consciousness.
Then may I be 100% naive for the rest of my life!
Then let's go with that one. I'm not afraid to engage in an argument why i'm a pro choice. Because i will only prove how naive pro lifes can be
According to science, by 3 months a baby has more neural activity than a kitten/puppy the same pro choicers would tell us it's a crime to kill.
Pro choice is basically supporting the choice made. I never seen the big deal about it
