How you respond to mistreatment literally is a personal problem. Women have so much privilege in society that they complain about the pockets on their jeans, never once having to consider the things men do as a second nature. I. e. worrying about personal safety. These things don't bather us as we recognize that they are a fact of life. They're like children who just expect things to be there and never consider HOW they go there. Its the classic "why do we have to kill animals? Why don't people just go to the store and get the meat from there?" 1st world problems is an understatement for the foolishness. "RWAR I'm paid less than a man in the richest country on Earth!" "Rwar men (I find unattractive) are saying things to me on the street!"
I wonder if they'd trade places with rich, degree having, car driving, home owning, bank account having, indoor plumbing having, clitoris having, special government program receiving, media adorning, literate, western women, complaining about catcalling and a lack of pockets.
Women: We need to eradicate mosquitoes! They're annoying! Men: Mosquitoes are a fact of life and have been here longer than we have... wear some Off Deep Woods
First off, gender is a part of someone's identity. Struggles have nothing to do with identity, and that's the reason most women say no. That's because many women have a connection with that part of their identity. Why should we have to change ourselves because society can't get over its outdated standards?
Secondly, you're turning a fight for human rights into a joke. I understand that it might be too hard for you to understand that we're not saying we're better than men or "complaining about mosquitoes". Girls just want to have fundamental human rights! When we bring topics like this to light, it can sometimes be hard for men to empathize. That's because they don't deal with the same issues. So the "parts of life" for you, are the issues we have to deal with.
It's sickening that you think girls manipulated from birth into thinking they have no human rights are "just a daily part of life 😘". When did I ever complain about mosquitoes or lack of pockets? I didn't!
Everything women know about the world is filtered through a pink lens. Women will never understand this until its too late, which is unfortunate. Not interested in your identity nonsense. Thats first world problems on steriods! lol
Go join an army and fight in a real battle against real enemies who are trying very hard to kill you, and then you will suddenly forget to bitch about your female "problems" and stop being a self-anointed "victim" - if you survive.
Your lack of a response is in fact a response itself. Very few women are in combat and even fewer women get wounded or killed. As usual women get the privilege of being protected while men get the privilege of being wounded and killed.
Oh boy. Paragraph after paragraph droning on about why women are oppressed because they choose to shave their legs and have to endure the cat calls of men. Give me a fucking break.
Yeah especially those poor women from Ukraine. They can flee from their country while all the men were forced to stay and die for their country😭😭 #StrongAndIndependent
Sorry, I don't own any gray khakis 🥱 Also I add color to my signs.
If you want an actual answer, the reason you think that is probably cause saying stuff like that makes it easier to dismiss misogyny. Conventionally attractive women do indeed face sexism as well! How funny.
as a person who goes to strip clubs, watch porn since the age of 6, used to collect glamour model magazines, and many other things I can tell you that I never hear ATTRACTIVE women bitch and complain about sexism as much you are here in your take. so this is a damn obvious that you are one of those women who is holding the sign in that meme
bitching and whining about sexism when in reality you are just pissed that nobody wants to sexually objectify you
There are plenty of legal issues. Abortion laws, marital rape loopholes, and foreign policies in places like Saudi Arabia or India. Societal discrimination is definitely still an issue. When women were being forced by their husbands to wear chastity belts due to religion is it just "a personal problem"?
I'll repeat myself, unless it's a police issue or a legal issue, it's a personal issue.
You just cited a bunch of legal issues. And then you talked about saudi arabia... Saudi Arabia is a pretty autocratic monarchy, legal issues there aren't social unless society there makes them so and forces the throne's hand.
Privilege is invisible to those who have it. Women have a lot of privileges a man will never have. Patriachy doesn't exist. Just a bunch of women bitching about made up problems
I've answered this so many times on this post omg.
The vast majority of women's oppression are in sexist laws. Take for example the abortion laws in the US, or the marital rape loopholes. Or the fact that sexual education in the US is only required to be medically accurate in 13 states. We also deal with men who think that if they help us they automatically are "entitled to sex". If we get harassed at all we're either told that means the boy likes us or it's our fault because of our clothing.
If you want other countries, in Saudi Arabia women aren't allowed to vote, in Kenya, women's groups are creating their own villages because of the terrible mistreatment from their husbands (and then get raided and kidnapped on a daily to be forced back into those living conditions).
And ironically feminist groups support lax immigration to the USA from Kenya and Saudi Arabia and such nations, thereby supporting the importation of such barbaric views and beliefs.
Okay name a right in the (U S) that's actually affecting you. You do know women want to get those laws changed as well. Pro life women exist yet a lot of people on the left or liberals like to ignore that fact
And a lot of women like to financially objetify men. Women serve shoter prison sentences for the same crimes a man commits. The courts favour women in most cases especially custody battles. Men make up the majority of work related deaths because they work in dangerous jobs that women can more than join in, but don't want to. Men have no say in abortion, yet if she keeps it, we have to pay child support or be a father. Women dont have to sign any draft papers once they turn 18. Women have support groups for abuse and other problems they're dealing with. Women are allowed to openly say sexist shit about men on tv and other big networks while if a man does that, his ass will get canceled. Women can hit men in public and most people won't do anything, but if a guy hits a women, people will be there to defend her unless she's getting assaulted where most people can't see the assault happening. Women's sexuality is being embraced while men's sexuality is being shamed. Men are told to man up but no one dare tell a woman to woman up. People laugh at shit that happens to men but never the opposite. There's plenty of more things i could tell you about the gynocentric society we live in
How exactly are abortion laws oppressing women? Even in the few states that have banned abortion, that is just giving them equality with men. As we've been telling men for years, "If you don't want to be a parent, don't have sex!"
@Exterminatore. The problem is these women really believe they are oppressed and they feel justified in using any power or force against men. Nothing is more dangerous than a modern white woman in the west.
Agreed. They are the oppressors not the oppressed.
Think how self absorbed you’d have to be to believe you’re oppressed when you have more rights and privileges than men and still claim to be oppressed. Then when the disparity is pointed out say: “you’re invalidating womens experiences, I’m not saying men don’t face problems.” Their experiences are invalided because they are not valid to start with. They are minor bitches and complaints. Not real issues.
@Exterminatore. I agree and the overwhelming majority of the problem women have are self-inflicted. Just look at the good women who found a good man in their early/mid 20's, had their kids, live a wholesome life. These women are actually HAPPY. Just look at the Tik Thot videos and many of the women on GAG, they are miserable to their core due to their own decision making, but of course, they have to blame men.
Absolutely. That was part of the deception of feminism. “You can have it all” meaning the career, and kid/s, and be single and do it all, all by yourself…because women are strong and independent.
I think more than a few are regretting these life decisions, and yeah, now it’s mens fault. Most especially because these women are damaged goods now and no one wants them.
Funny how when shit hits the fan (like in Ukraine), you don't see see (especially feminists) complain and scream for equal rights when it is the men between 16 (a child) and 60 are forbidden to leave the country, forced to take arms while the women are free to leave. And yet they claim to be oppressed by sexism lmfao. Imagine being 60 years old and having a hoard of Russian men in their prime years coming at you with Kalashnikovs. Yeah, men are soooo "privileged". And those who have the audacity to point out that there are Ukrainian women fighting actually make up an INCREDIBLY small minority of the female population.
On the contrary, we saw a trend on TikTok where feminists say they would switch back to gender norms when women would be forced to enlist in the army like men are. It became a meme at this point. That goes to show that feminism is a failed experiment and those who claim to be "feminists" are actually selective feminists. Here are some examples:
well she was pretty immature. unwilling to argue, made big fake claims easily debunked. and was just all around one sided. you shouldn't learn anything from this post. yes all women feel bad about their bodies sometimes (as do men) but that's a human thing, not a woman thing

Not having looked at the sources yet. Do you say men are less privileged than women because women typically have more satisfaction in life? Also, I can assure you that male offenders often get away with it. I understand the reason you're claiming that is because there has been a recent outroar for sexual violence justice but still, many victims aren't often believed.

ok you're not very well educated. notice that i wrote a sentence on each source to say what they were? you need to always do that whenever you post a source... basic rules here.
Each source has a title! Titles tell you what the piece is about. A piece titled "Lesbophobia" will obviously be about lesbophobia. A piece titled "My Green Caterpillar" will be about the person's green caterpillar.
Every fact in my post relates to those sources. I'm sorry that you can't just accept citations. I always put citations in formats whenever I write anything in case someone asks me for something. I think you're purely asking me for annotations so you can believe that you have some moral high ground.
If you want to talk about sources, you use news articles and YouTube clips. Which are not reliable sources at all. If you're talking about studies, you need to get the actual peer-reviewed journal. I'm not a child, so I understand citations. Don't try and patronize me about sources when you're not even using reputable ones.
You're making brash assumptions. Wouldn't you actually not be fit for "science" if you can't understand what a study is about of its clear title. Additionally, if you read my post, you would know what each source I provided is sitting. I can't add footnotes and didn't really want to clutter the original post with a bibliography so I wasn't going to do inline citations.
My reasoning is perfectly clear. And you completely danced around the fact that your sources aren't from reputable sources for statistics. If you're sourcing information on a study, you should provide the study itself, not a Huffingtonpost article that says "a study was recently done..."
Well, I wrote a post on sexism and in return, I got tons and tons of comments from men attempting to invalidate sexism. There! There's one small example of sexism. The fact that I can't even discuss the oppression women face without being called a bitch, or having men patronize and explain to me "what's truly going on".
Women are 1.2 times more likely to attempt suicide than men but, males often choose more violent ways of suicide so unfortunately, they are more likely to be completed suicide attempts without immediate intervention. Additionally, more men than women, in the US, own guns, making firearm-related suicides more likely. Firearm suicides tend to be more fatal than other methods.
I would like to touch on this if I may. I think the reason why this statistic may be as it is, is because men feel they have nobody to really cry out to. Men are told, "put your big boy pants on, stop crying, your tears fills my coffee cup" and the likes. We as men are treated by society as if we have no reasons to be depressed, hurt or even have emotions. So when a man attempts to commit suicide, they do it in such a way that there is no turning back because they feel there is no help for them.
Women on the other hand receive more attentive care from those around them. Their slow suicides that are often intervened are recognized as a cry for help, and often they receive that help.
So yes, perhaps (according to your studies) women do indeed attempt suicide more often, but considering the ways they go about it, it is more of a cry for help, where as a man knows there is likely going to be no help for him, so he finishes the job.
Just a theory of mine, I have no empirical evidence to support my theory other than life experience.
@Ghostluck I can agree with that!! I can see the rationale behind men having less of a chance of having a healthy support system in place. I know the term can be kind of thrown around but toxic masculinity is certainly relevant in issues like that.
Her message doesn’t negate anything that men go through. It’s interesting - every time a woman writes a post about issues women are dealing with, every man in the comment section gets defensive and instead of acknowledging what the woman said, it’s just “men deal with issues too.” You’re not listening.
@Tinytina09 Maybe if you women wrote a post about yourselves without involving men maybe men wouldn't get all defensive. Is that even possible for a woman to do? To bring up something they go through that doesn't involve men being the bad guy? I doubt you or any women could accept that challenge
@Tinytina09 As a matter of fact, when men do the exact same thing, write about how they experience sexism at the hands of women, they're laughed at. They're unable to have a voice. But its ok for women to do? That in and of itself is extremely sexist. yet all the sexism is directed towards women. Oh the humanity.
The victim complex that so many women today have is truly mind blowing. Whites women in the west are among the most privileged people to ever exist and it’s just never good enough no matter what anyone does.
Women in the USA can literally commit paternity fraud, and still collect child support from the victim after it's proven. Women in the USA can literally commit statutory rape and then collect child support from the victim #realitycheck
65% of men don't pay child support even when required by the court. How would a rapist even collect child support from a victim, when they're in jail? Biological parents can waive parental rights too. I really do have to understand more about what you're referring to.
I'd have to look into the cases that you're talking about, would you mind sending them? Though single-cases aren't really ground for bold claims since there can be crooked judges.
Oops! So sorry, that one is definitely on me. Here's my source: https://www.mediate.com/articles/psych.cfm . Though I can't find the actual study so personally, I don't find the source reputable to use for debate. SORRY !!! THAT'S ONE ME. The author seems like a reputable person but personally I really only count peer-reviewed journals as "fully reputable'. So this source is kinda half-half. I'll find better statistics tomorrow, but I'm tired atm. (So sorry)
I swear, I usually fact-check stuff. My friend told me this one so I was kinda expecting it to be from a super reputable source 💀💀 I mean, it's still reputable just y'know not as good as I'd like it.
Dang, sucks to be those guys. Though I was kinda hoping you'd provide me with a study or the details of the case rather than just New York Post & co. But whatever 🥱 A few cases matters but that doesn't really mean that women can always get away with this stuff.
I can't really find enough studies on paternity fraud. The most I could find was a US Census article that said over 30% of child support wasn't paid. And then immediately said, "sorry this part of the site is under maintenance." Oh well 🤷
Studies definitely are different. But there aren't studies for everything. And if you can find multiple cases of something in various states over multiple years, then yes, it confirms that our corrupt current system allows it.
Given that the obesity rates are horrendous in the USA right now for men and women, that certainly indicates whatever media pressure there is to be skinny isn't having much effect, as way too many Americans of both sexes are basically land whales currently.
Would you like me to provide studies next showing that American men are just as likely to be victims of domestic violence as American women? That's not even touching on how lesbian relationships have horrendous domestic violence compared to heretosexual relationships.

@CandyCaneZoe The first part is not true in the US, although the second part is. So what?
Wdym it's not true in the US? After fighting to have the right to enlist, women make up a fifth of the US military.

If a man is accused of rape he is instantly guilty in the eyes of many
And ontop all that women STILL get affirmative action for some reason
Not having looked at the sources yet. Do you say men are less privileged than women because women typically have more satisfaction in life? Also, I can assure you that male offenders often get away with it. I understand the reason you're claiming that is because there has been a recent outroar for sexual violence justice but still, many victims aren't often believed.
you were given so many sources i don't really have to explain further. by any measure women have life easier

My rebuttal :)
ok you're not very well educated. notice that i wrote a sentence on each source to say what they were? you need to always do that whenever you post a source... basic rules here.
Each source has a title! Titles tell you what the piece is about. A piece titled "Lesbophobia" will obviously be about lesbophobia. A piece titled "My Green Caterpillar" will be about the person's green caterpillar.
no, write the annotations. it isn't clear at all WHY you put those links there. put in the effort or go away child
Don't try and patronize me about sources when you're not even using reputable ones.
it is your responsibility to make it easy and effortless for me to know what each source is about and to relate it to the conversation
do it properly child, or don't pretend to be an academic, you're not fit for science
If you're sourcing information on a study, you should provide the study itself, not a Huffingtonpost article that says "a study was recently done..."
go back, do it right. annotate each one
Please, tell me more about how females are victims …
Well, I wrote a post on sexism and in return, I got tons and tons of comments from men attempting to invalidate sexism. There! There's one small example of sexism. The fact that I can't even discuss the oppression women face without being called a bitch, or having men patronize and explain to me "what's truly going on".
Oh yeah you girls have it so hard! Which is why men are 3 to 4 times more likely to die by suicide.
It's just like I've always said: half the problem with men and women is the men, the other half is the women.
Men are not the problem unless they are simps.
Woman have it way worse, if they want to start a fight w/ a guy call him a female.
Uh, how many ugly men get lead roles in romantic comedies?
Sexism is also problem that we men have to face too yet your post says almost nothing about it. Quite one sided, don’t you think 🤔?
A lot of women are extremely selfish...
@SolitarySolace you could always move to Mars ya know?
@Tinytina09 and you could just move to Venus!
@JesseJayNeak no thanks, my apartment lease doesn’t end for another year.
The victim complex that so many women today have is truly mind blowing. Whites women in the west are among the most privileged people to ever exist and it’s just never good enough no matter what anyone does.
I'm not White but y'know, that's for the assumption 🥱
Ur right I should have said western women. Ime black women have an even bigger complex than white women.
Aww folks listen to the female fragility crocodile tears and false claims.
You first, let's see a valid source for your 65% claim.
(So sorry)
What about your case studies?
I swear, I usually fact-check stuff. My friend told me this one so I was kinda expecting it to be from a super reputable source 💀💀 I mean, it's still reputable just y'know not as good as I'd like it.
That, and that source is from 25 years ago, so kind of like debating current crime rates and using stats from a quarter century ago.
Links about how women can commit paternity fraud and instead of paying consequences, they can still collect from their victims. And this was what I could pull with one google search and 2 minutes

And then immediately said, "sorry this part of the site is under maintenance." Oh well 🤷
Studies are different than stories from cheesy new sources!
Studies definitely are different. But there aren't studies for everything. And if you can find multiple cases of something in various states over multiple years, then yes, it confirms that our corrupt current system allows it.
You also cited women feeling pressured to have a certain body type. Obesity rates for men and women in the USA are sky high. https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/adult.html
www.cdc.gov/.../overweight.htm
Given that the obesity rates are horrendous in the USA right now for men and women, that certainly indicates whatever media pressure there is to be skinny isn't having much effect, as way too many Americans of both sexes are basically land whales currently.
Would you like me to provide studies next showing that American men are just as likely to be victims of domestic violence as American women? That's not even touching on how lesbian relationships have horrendous domestic violence compared to heretosexual relationships.
