What Led to My Cynicism Toward Humans

Here are at least 2 major factors that led me to have cynical views toward humans. If you are curious or open-minded, I invite you to read my take.

Copper was paralyzed after a gunman shot him while attending Highland Park parade on the Fourth of July. Highland Park shooting led to my soured outlook on humans because there is a lunatic out there who has no qualm about innocent people.

2. Uvalde Cops Failed to Stop School Shooting

My faith in cops was shattered after reading the NY Post article about Uvalde cops allowing a madman to terrorize students at Robb Elementary School. The shooting at Robb Elementary School showed me that there are incompetent cops who have no qualm about allowing a madman to massacre students.

3. Assassination of Shinzo Abe

My soured outlook on humans was further reinforced after reading multiple news stories about a gunman assassinating Shinzo Abe during a campaign speech. The assassination of Shinzo Abe showed me there are evil people who won't hesitate to kill politicians.

4. War Between Russia and Ukraine

I became further disillusioned with humans after reading the NY Times article "The Children of War". I became further disillusioned because I learned that the Russian government has no qualm about inflicting psychological pain on the people of Ukraine.

With a name like Copper Roberts he was given a mercy to be just paralysed. He can call his parents stupid for naming him such, and claim such idiots didn't watch him closely enough ; and he ended up just getting shot, instead of kidnapped and red roomed. The USA gave not the tiniest shit for all the kids in Afghanistan, Iraq and others when it was killing in both. So it's no surprise Russia and Ukraine laugh at a ninnyhammer like you.

Russia, Ukraine, NATO/EU, and United States all had involvement with the events that led to that conflict. Both sides of the war are responsible for committing horrific atrocities on innocent civilians. And you're ignoring many good events that won't get covered by the MSM because it doesn't cause controversy. These news outlets are businesses at the end of the day, so they'll focus on what sells more.
