So I work in an area where there are lots of homeless indivduals scattered all over the place.
When I see the odd human being who is old and is soaked with urine, I feel compelled to buy him/her something to eat instead of giving them money.
What challenged me was that when I bought a person 2 bagfuls of healthy and nourishing food, he passed it on to his friend.
Sometimes, it makes me believe that the homeless aren't as desperate and as hungry.
I live in Australia and we have a fair and just welfare system. I consider myself to be a humanitarian with a healthy sense of compassion. But I am stupid in a sense where I don't know who is desperate or not.
What do you think? Do you feel angered that there are some people that ruin it for others? And do you think that people should continue to be selfless around them?

Not everybody receives help in a thankful way. My wife and i saw a homeless person in Vancouver Canada receive a gift of food like the one you gave. He looked at it put it aside a kept asking for money. Your not stupid for wanting to help people.
