Yes America needs a complete reformation and it's time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when it's actually a dystopia

Hey folks, it's me again. I know I haven't been active as much and the reason is that times have changed, I no longer have time to actually be on this site as much anymore. Now that I finally graduated from college and I'm starting to search for my career, my mind has been a battlefield for the past few months. As some of you probably know, I suffer from Obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD) where I'm constantly worrying about things that I shouldn't even be worrying about. While I'm usually able to keep it under control, I noticed a pattern where my OCD becomes harder to control every time I enter a new phase in life or leave my comfort zone. This is known as an “OCD flare up”. It happened to me after high school, again after graduating from community college and now recently that I have finally graduated from a 4 year University. Obviously when I go through these phases, I'm not in the mood to actually take part in certain hobbies such as logging onto this website. However I do feel that there are many things I need to get off my chest.

Yes America needs a complete reformation and its time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when its actually a dystopia

The truth about America: They call it the "land of the free", they say it so much as if it's not just a slogan, it's almost like a form of indoctrination. My whole life, I've heard these 4 words everywhere and I actually believed that America is the land of the free. But eventually I took the redpill and started to see that it's all smoke and mirrors and propaganda. How can we call ourselves the "Land of the free" when we have literally tens of thousands of innocent people in prison and nobody bats an eye? The truth is that America is a proto totalitarian country that is on the verge of becoming an overtly totalitarian country.

Yes America needs a complete reformation and its time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when its actually a dystopia

This is a country where the authorities are constantly using loopholes to bypass the constitution. You always hear law enforcement say that they are "just bending the rules". The thing is that they are bending the rules so much that fissures are starting to show in the rules. We have something called the 8th amendment but it's almost always ignored by the authorities in many ways such as

  • Imprisoning innocent people
  • treating inmates like farm animals instead of humans
  • arresting victims of criminal identity theft
  • torturing inmates
  • not separating violent from non violent inmates
  • Forcing identity theft victims to occasionally attend out of state court hearings
  • persecuting the mentally ill
  • mistreating mentally ill inmates
  • forcing false confessions
  • and many more violations of the 8th amendment and other amendments

It's easy to place all of the blame on the authorities for their blatant tyranny but we always forget that there are people in our society that enable this tyranny by showing sycophancy towards the powers that be with their "thin blue line" or "back the blue" attitudes. These people are part of the problem as well. They are sheeple that can't think for themselves and are nothing but yes men and yes women who are indoctrinated into thinking that the authority is always right.

Yes America needs a complete reformation and its time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when its actually a dystopia

Funny thing is that these “thin blue line” people like to condemn the evils of the third reich and wonder how many Germans of the 1930s-1940s could blindly follow a tyrant when these "thin blue line" supporters are doing the same thing today by blindly following a corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical system that doesn't care about the American people. It’s also ironic how modern Germany is more of a free country than America. I'll get to this later, first let's talk about a different issue that torments consumers across our country.

The debt collector menace: I have already expressed my hatred for debt collectors and while hatred isn't a positive emotion, it's understandable to hate debt collectors as this profession is nothing more than a vermin that leeches off the most vulnerable consumers such as those who are victims of identity theft. Debt collectors don't bother to see if the debt is legit, they just assume every debt they buy is legit and that's why they prey upon identity theft victims. Debt collectors are notorious for using all kinds of shady debt collection practices such as

  • Spam calling from spoofed numbers
  • Spam calling the wrong person
  • not sending any kind of notifications in mail
  • Some debt collectors won't report to credit bureaus
  • refusing to help you if you tell them you are a victim of identity theft.
  • If they sue you, they use sewer service so they can win by default
  • Try get a bench warrant against you, if you missed a debtor's examination(some states thankfully abolished this type of bench warrant)

Debt collectors engage in these types of shady tactics because many times they know they can't prove that the debt belongs to the person they are trying to collect from. When they spam call from various spoofed numbers, they know the person is most likely not going to answer an unknown number. That way if that scumbag debt collector sues the person, the debt collector will say some BS story like "oh we tried contacting you many times but we were never able to reach you." Why is it BS? Because sometimes the spoofed numbers won't have a caller ID or may be incorrectly listed as spam risk, which means the person will have no way of knowing that the number belongs to a scumbag debt collector unless that person googles it, uses a reverse number search on it or calls it back. Obviously most people will just ignore the calls with out googling each one. Scumbag debt collectors are pretty much calling with the intention of the person not answering. The other problem is when debt collectors either refuse or simply choose to not send any kind of notifications in the mail or even report the debts to the credit bureaus. Again all because they are trying take it to court and win by default.

“Damn you debt collecting scum!!!!”
“Damn you debt collecting scum!!!!”

So how can you protect yourself against scumbag debt collectors, especially if you are an identity theft victim? Well for starters know all your rights when it comes to dealing with debt collectors. If you don't know your rights, you can find them all on the Consumer financial protection Bureau's(CFPB) website under the fair debt collection practices act(FDCPA) section. Aside from that, there are other precautions you can take.

  • Monitor your credit reports via annual credit report or you can also use credit karma and the Experian apps to have your credit reports at your fingertips. As long as you have zero collections then it should mean you are in the clear but remember that a few debt collection agencies don't report to credit bureaus
  • Reverse search any suspicious spam caller. Usually a legit debt collector call will have the caller id of the agency but on the rare occasions that it doesn't, reverse search the number to make sure it's not a debt collector.
  • keep an eye on your mail for any bills you don't recognize or letters from creditors or debt collectors.
  • If you have a super rare name, you can search your name on a legal data website like unicourt, if no results show up, then you don't have to worry about any sewer service.
  • The Experian app offers a 7 day free trial for a identity works plan, which monitors your identity and even scans court data for any warrants or arrest records. this can give you peace of mind if you think a scumbag debt collector got a bench warrant against you or if you think you may be a victim of criminal identity theft.
  • If a debt collector refuses to help you out if you are a victim of identity theft and keeps insisting that it's yours, you can file a complaint with the CFPB. This usually causes debt collectors to yield as the CFPB has the power to shut down any debt collection agency

How can we fight back against the debt collector menace? Debt collection is not a government organization, they are businesses. That's why there are thousands of debt collection agencies scattered throughout the country, all individually owned. And there are also many debt collection agencies on the FTC's banned debt collector list, which in my opinion serves as proof that debt collectors cannot be trusted to obey the FDCPA. Which means that stricter rules need to be imposed upon debt collectors. Here are some of my proposed new rules.

  • Debt collectors are no longer allowed to spoof their numbers, they can only call from their main numbers.
  • They can only call once a week
  • They must leave voicemails if nobody picks up
  • They must clearly identify the name of the debt collection agency during a call or voicemail
  • Debt collectors must send at least 3 notification letters in the mail along with their calls
  • If a debt isn't reported to the 3 credit bureaus then it cannot be legally collected
  • Bench warrants for missing debtor's examinations are to be abolished, they are unconstitutional loopholes
  • Debt collectors can only collect within their state.
  • Debt collectors can only sue with a court in the county that the debtor resides in.
  • Debt collectors will automatically lose a case if they used sewer service
  • Liens and levies are to be abolished

With these new rules, we can give peace of mind to identity theft victims and people who truly cannot pay debts due to unprecedented events in their lives.

Yes America needs a complete reformation and its time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when its actually a dystopia

The issue with arresting innocent people: America has a big problem when it comes to arresting innocent people either due to corruption or incompetence. The innocence project estimates that there are tens of thousands of innocent people in prison right now. These victims either were at the wrong place at the wrong time, had false accusations used against them, had to face scumbag prosecutors that only care about advancing their careers or were victims of criminal identity theft. Most Americans like to tell themselves it's rare for innocent people to be imprisoned simply because they look at the percentages without looking at the actual numbers which again are in the tens of thousands. When you bring up this simple fact, many people will assume that it can't happen to them until it does.

Yes America needs a complete reformation and its time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when its actually a dystopia

A few years ago I was arguing with this thin blue line supporter on this website who blatantly said "too bad" if an innocent person gets arrested. So I quickly put this despicable individual in his place by asking him how he would feel if a relative of his was wrongly imprisoned. He shut up afterwards. Sadly this is the attitude of many sheeple who lie to themselves so they can sleep comfortably at night because they don't want to believe that the system they show sycophancy towards is faulty. The truth bothers them, that's why they will resort to all kinds of ad hominems/insults when someone calls out their sycophancy.

Yes America needs a complete reformation and its time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when its actually a dystopia

What can be done about this issue? Well it's simple, enough with the guilty until proven innocent attitude from law enforcement and courts. And don't give me any of that bullcrap of "No it's actually innocent until proven guilty." Cause it's not. If it were, then why is the person in handcuffs and being driven to a law enforcement station? Why is the person being thrown into a jail cell? Cause it's utter bullsh*t! I don't even think any law enforcement official believes it either. A person who is a victim of criminal identity theft could be enjoying his or her coffee one morning but suddenly this person gets a knock on the front door from the local police or sheriff’s department with a warrant for the person's arrest, even though that person is truly innocent. This doesn’t just happen in movies, it happens in real life as well. Even after the person is cleared, his or her Neighbors will probably not look at him or her the same way ever again, since they saw the person being escorted to a squad car in hand cuffs from their house. Furthermore, the person is also at risk of losing his or her job even after he or she is cleared.

Yes America needs a complete reformation and its time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when its actually a dystopia

If we actually had a system of innocent until proven guilty then there would be no surprise arrests of innocent people, instead notifications would be sent to them in the mail or visits from local enforcement that are willing to help and protect the person as he or she clears their name. No arrest warrants until law enforcement are 100% sure the person is a criminal. What else can be done? https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna3078488

  • A free online service where identity theft victims can put their names on a national database to let law enforcement know they are potential victims of identity theft
  • Better trained law enforcement when it comes to assisting identity theft victims
  • Take away power from prosecutors, they are the main reason why innocent people are in prison. Take away some of their prosecutorial immunity so their exonerated victims can get some retribution
  • Reduce judicial immunities so the exonerated can get retribution
  • No more forced confessions as they are a violation of the 8th amendment
  • Train law enforcement in extensive communication skills, to be able to get any suspects to reveal valuable information.
  • No more arresting people who acted in self defense
  • Stricter jury selection process that only selects honest people with high morals
  • No more extradition between states
  • abolish death penalty it's a direct violation of the 8th amendment
  • Reform all law enforcement to be more like Finland's law enforcement

While these are some ways we can protect innocent people from being both wrongly detained and wrongly imprisoned, which will decrease the number of innocent people being wrongly imprisoned, it won't completely eliminate the wrongful arrest and imprisonment of innocent people. Which is why we must address the elephant in the room.

The dystopian U.S. jail/prison system: As Americans we like to think that our jails and prisons are top tier in the whole world. Unfortunately that's not the case. Sure our jails and prisons are more humane than those found in most third world countries but when we compare our jails and prisons to the ones in Western and Northern Europe, we can see that our jails and prisons are dystopian. American correctional facilities are designed to punish but not to correct. Our jails and prisons treat inmates like livestock instead of humans. That is why there are so many repeat offenders.

Yes America needs a complete reformation and its time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when its actually a dystopia

Again while it's true that our government is the main problem, so are the people who support this system. Let's not make it a Democrat vs Republican issue cause in reality both sides are part of the problem. Let's quickly go over the main problems of our jails and prisons. I am not going to refer to American prison guards as correctional officers because most haven’t earned the right to call themselves that. I am simply going to refer to them as jail/prison guards, cause that's all they are.

  • Innocent people in prison: these are people who don't have the bravado to actually cope with jail/prison life. They are prone to falling victim to the more violent inmates who are there for violent crimes. Nothing is being done to protect potentially innocent people. Innocent people also include people who were wrongly imprisoned just because they acted in self defense
  • Mentally ill being tortured and having their needs neglected by the guards: There are countless cases where the 8th amendment is violated when the guards neglect the needs of mentally ill inmates or blatantly torture them.
  • overcrowding:Many jails and prisons are overcrowded: This leads to inmates being cramped up in cells and at higher risk of contracting airborne diseases.
  • Physically ill being neglected: An inmate who is suffering from a bad cold may find him or herself being ignored by the guards.
  • Violent and non violent offenders are grouped together: this leads to acts of violence committed by the violent offenders against the non violent offenders as the violent offenders see easy prey.
  • inmates stripped of their identity: Upon arrival at the jail or prison, the inmate is forced to store all their personal belongings in a storage area and strip down completely. They are then given prison scrubs and some tools for hygiene before being led to the mess hall as all the inmates stare at this new arrival. From there, they are lead to their cell where they pretty much have nothing. This is psychological torture as it is designed to reduce the individual to just another gear in a corrupt system.
  • Forced labor: Call it work but it ain't no work, it's forced labor as prison inmates are forced to work or else suffer punishments. Many times they don’t get to choose their "jobs" and are also paid almost nothing. Again they are just gears in a corrupt system that doesn’t care about correcting their way of life only to exploit their labor.
  • Don't have constant communication with their family and friends: This is slowly starting to change as some states have started to allow inmates free unlimited video calls to their family and friends but there are still states that have restrictions on how many calls a person can make in one week.
  • Inmates run the facilities: Many times guards don't do much except tell the inmates when to wake up, go to bed and eat. Guards are often slow to break up fights unless it's a very large brawl between many inmates at once. At the end of the day, you have the most powerful inmates running things.
  • punishing inmates who simply act in self defense: Some inmates who keep to themselves may be hesitant to defend themselves in fear of receiving beatings from the prison guards.

What can be done? We need a complete reform of our jail/prison systems, better training for prison guards and stricter screenings for the correctional officer position. All jails and prisons need to be reformed to be more like either Norway's, Switzerland's Finland's or Germany's prison systems. Here are some ways we can reform our jail/prison systems. Realistically I do think it would be a procedural reformation. First we implement the Swiss system, then the German system, then the Norwegian system and lastly the Finnish system. After you read the bullet points I will show you 4 different prison systems from Western and Northern Europe. I recommend watching the videos from top to bottom to get an idea of what I mean by gradual or procedural reformation i am talking about.

  • replace all cellblocks with dorms or turn all cells into motel rooms where inmates can keep their personal belongings and even wear their own clothes in the facility
  • Inmates can eat whenever they want and have access to a menu
  • Inmates take behavioral programs designed to help the inmates change their criminal behavior. This can also help detect who may actually be innocent.
  • Inmates can get an education while in prison to help them become productive members of society instead of destructive members of society
  • Newly hired Correction officers must undergo a year long training program to teach them communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with the inmates and be considerate of those who are innocent.
  • Work is optional and inmates can choose their job while in prison
  • Inmates can have one electronic device(phone, tablet or laptop) to communicate with family members and engage in recreational activities like browsing the web, listening to music and playing mobile games.
  • Have access to various forms of recreational activities like gyms, pools etc.
  • Have constant access to medical services, including mental health services
  • Shut down all the corporations that own prisons, ban private prisons

Some counties have already started to implement more western and Northern European style prison systems but unfortunately most of the US still has that outdated dystopian system doesn’t actually work the way it's supposed to. If America wants to call itself the "land of the free" then it must start acting like it.

"America!!! America!!! God mend thine every flaw, confirm thy soul in self control, thy liberty in law!"

Yes America needs a complete reformation and it's time we stop pretending that America is a free country, when it's actually a dystopia
