I had always thought that Ballance had been made in regards to politics. In my lifetime there was Bush then Clinton then W. Then Obama. And although one side had lost. For 8 years people would just mumble their discontent until the next election.

But something changed when Trump won. (Probably because a whole new generation became eligible to vote.) The media turned to hate.

Most people probably don't realize that It is highly irresponsible for anyone to vote for a candidate based upon the color of their skin or the type of genitalia they have. And this was exactly what many Americans did for Obama and Hillary.

People over night started showing hatred I had never before seen. Don't get me wrong. I spoke out against Obama and feared what a Muslim would do in office. Thankfully he didn't do anything. But this is unreal.

The media repeatedly calls Trump a racist and is colliding with Russia. . So what if he was racist. He showed more love to the black community then Obama did. As far as the allocations about Russia. I don't know. I haven't seen any evidence yet. Just a BS witch-hunt the Democrats ran.

As far as the 2020 elections went. I didn't even watch it. Yet even a blind man could see it was stolen.

In short the government isn't your friend. They aren't here to help anyone. People are fighting because the media gets their emotions all up in a twist. People are believing lies on the basis that it sounds right. Good luck with that.

In ranked choice elections, voters rank as many or as few candidates as they like from their favorite to least favorite: first choice, second choice, and so on.

It really shouldn't be, but at the same time... it is a lot like I have said before, if the USA and Russia would be allies, we could accomplish a lot.

However, I'm in rural America and the liberals literally ignore us, screw us over every chance they get. They don't have the ability to see things through our eyes.

Both parties like to do a all or none approach to things, but what works in a big city doesn't work in small towns and what works in small towns may not work in a big city.

This is where state rights, and more local control, really help things out.

Gun control for example may be great in a big city (debatable of course) but where I live, Deputies can be up to 90 minutes away.

Not great to rely on police if liberals outlaw guns nationwide... their wet dream.

At the same time in a big city, everyone having open carry or conceal carry may not be a great idea, cause someone cuts someone off while driving, a shooting war starts out.

That won't happen in smaller towns, cause traffic is so non existent, and even if someone does that we go talk to them, like hey why did you do that.

People are less friendly in big cities, compared to small towns... and see others as just a nameless person who offended them.

Tailored approaches would be much more uniting than one size fits all.

The big problem with you fella is you are still sane and rational, possibly didn't stick your head too far into the media "pipe" and so you can still think. So many cannot and need to pull back and look more broadly.

I agree it shouldn't be so divided. It's always been divided, there's always been divisions of view and opinion and they go back before the USA... see the same terms used in revolutions in Russia, France, etc.. People used to sit around coffee shops, read newspapers and talk about this stuff and generally, they weren't so divisive, albeit... on some issues they were.

But we are in a negative feedback loop in our society and people are being polarized by the media outlets... and that is possibly intentional to divide and control. It may be an outcropping of who owns the media messages, the ease of discemination of messages. I've never seen so much bias and garbage in media. Little things like if a crime was committed by a "man"... you know it was a black person. But if they say a race, it will be a white person who did something to a black person. They manage the mentality in those newsrooms, pick the stories... refine to the stories that will incite emotions... and push those messages with wording that makes us churn. All for the purpose of getting people to look at the screen so they sell advertising.

America isn't ready for equality, different cultures can't take different ways of living, everybody must be the same, you must conform. Conform or suffer the consequences of unemployment, abortion, abuse, family domestic abuse, spousal abuse, child abuse, child neglect, poor education system, unjust prison sentences, unjust releases for repeat offenders, rapists and murderers, corrupt and crooked politicians is what makes America so divided, bad parenting and disrespectful children also.

Trump has tons of faults, but a huge part of why he is hated by the establishment is that he is not one of them. The Republicans went after Clinton and Obama. The Democrats went after HW Bush and W Bush. But at the end of the day, Clinton thought of and treated HW as a quasi-dad, and W and Michelle Obama are best buddies. They are all part of the same establishment group. Trump is an outsider.
