Why I Like Being a Woman

I know that I will get some static from this post. I don't care for the militant Women's Liberation Movement. I do agree with the movement just not in the same way that the militants do. I am not a man hater because as many differences exist among men as they do women. I really, really, really appreciate what the early Women's Liberation Movements fault for and accomplished. I mean can you imagine today not being able to vote as a woman? Can you imagine today having to marry young and be a housewife first and about three or four occupations until you can get married. I appreciate this. However, I feel that women today my age (at least in the US and most developed countries) have choices. It is a better time to be a woman than ever probably. I don't have to get married young. The choice to have or not have kids is mine. That said, I do enjoy being a woman and my femininity. Why?

Suffrage of The Past

The first reason is that we can form deep emotional connections with our friends and have better strength in bonding I believe. We will tell each other almost (but not quite) anything, and I enjoy this freedom. I know that we are more verbal than men overall, and I think this may be a strength if used correctly. I have heard it phrased this way. When men speak, they have something to accomplish. As for us, we are communicators on the information highway. We communicate constantly. We have 30 emotions and guys usually have 1 or 2. It is the way we are made, and I think that is a good thing.

Women Emotionally Bonding

Along this line of thinking, I believe that we have the natural ability to nurture and love others like children, family, and partners. In most cases, it is what we do. It is us. It is not something that we have to practice and develop, but comes naturally. We do this because I believe we have the ability to empathize. Science says that we women, overall, have a high degree of emotional intelligence.I feel that our unique nature of menstruation, childbirth are very unique and powerful to us. Who says that we don't have power? I realize that these haven't always been viewed this way, and many times in the not so long ago past women were forced to quit work after becoming pregnant. As I said earlier, I believe that we have more freedom than ever.

Also, we have more choices to wear in clothing. I know that it is higher priced, but in my mind it is worth it to wear cute outfits. To me, we are just prettier. I think most guys and most women can appreciate that. It is not about sex, but overall, our bodies are just prettier. I enjoy my beauty even though I know it is judged sometimes harsher by other women than men. I guess that is part of being a woman.

As a man I have mixed feelings. I want women to feel good about themselves. But I think we need more of a teamwork mindset. Yes Men and Women are different, but we are supposed to be on the same team. Team humanity. But it feels like we struggle against each others differences.

There was a time when women weren't accepted into institutes of high education. Women who made important discoveries or inventions had credit taken by men. Women couldn't sign legal papers or own property. They weren't taken seriously. They couldn't get important job positions even if they were highly qualified and, instead, were expected to do menial work like waitresses, secretaries, or even sweat shop laborers. Single women were often groped, preyed upon or coerced into sex. Their lives depended on having husbands and they were expected to be housewives and mothers.

I'm glad things have changed. Women are smart and have a lot to contribute. And you're right, they often have a more empathetic, inclusive, collaborative and multifaceted outlook that differs from men's more linear thought processes and dominant behavior.

Men and women are different, but the only way women are inferior to men is size and strength.

Now women are free to pursue whatever life they choose, just like men always were. If they want to be housewives and mothers, fantastic. But if they want to pursue education and careers, that's fine, too.

And regardless of professional or married status, women can be cute, sexy and celebrate their femininity. Just because women are liberated doesn't mean that they don't appreciate men. Many professional women are very feminine. They aren't defined by the kind of feminism that certain types of misandrists promote.

I respect smart, plucky women who are happy being female and love men. They no longer need a man to survive, but they long for male companionship, sex, love and fulfillment.

You shouldn’t get any static from your post, you are just expressing why you like being a woman , and there is nothing wrong with that , You would only be wrong if you were trying to make everyone else agree with you and see things only your way , but you aren’t doing that in your post whatsoever, everyone has a right to their own opinions on things , whether you are right or wrong it doesn’t matter , all that matters is you are happy and content with your life and how you see things. Overall we live in a judgmental hypocritical society, where not everyone is going to agree or disagree on things , just the way society is it’s been this way for decades, one thing I learned in life is just try to live as happy as you can be , I know it’s easier said than done at times , but always remember tomorrow is not promised. Good take. Shock horror men and women are different with different capabilities that come naturally to us. As pair bonding species it is advantageous that our capabilities compliment.

I think you are highlighting the gaping flaw in feminism that men and women should be the same or really that women should be like men.

The article itself was not AI and neither was the first picture. I wrote the article and found the first picture as a said from a historical site. 2nd picture may be an AI picture and I will give you that one.
