Antagonistic Anonymous Posters... Why do we let them under our skin?

So many times on social media, be it here, Facebook, or any site where comments are allowed, there will always be that one asshole that gets under your skin.

There's no particular reason. You probably stated your opinion, fact, research, question or whatever clearly, calmly...but that troll just picks and picks and somehow manages to tip the scales.

It happens here quite a bit. Someone posts a question as opposed to a my take, just hoping to incite a bunch of comments they can twist and hack, usually for the sole purpose of calling perfectly intelligent people stupid and pissing them off.

Its sometimes hard to keep cool, even when you know they are anonymous trolls. You just have to reply, and then they answer back, and you keep defending yourself, and before you know it, you've been dragged to their level.

It is a never ending cycle of cuntery.

I work on the infamous Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Cunts happen to be my specialty, along with assholes, tourons (that would be tourist moron), diva queens, and drunk idiots. Its no secret that I really don't like people, and the more antagonistic they are, the more I just want to slap a bitch.

For me at least it's easy to just ignore people... Until I'm already having a bad day then I'm behind you in the birch slapping line!!!
