He lives 2 hours away, can we make it work?

Ive fallen for a lad that lives 2 hours away, that's on a train btw. I see him twice a month because its a pretty expensive journey, I just want to know whether everyone think this would work? we talk every night and he seems to like me too so, what do y'all think?

I was in a 2 hour long distance relationship once before as well. I was the one who traveled to see him every other weekend (by car). It was nice at first, but it got old pretty fast. He never came to see me; I had to go to him. It lasted about 2 months. Maybe if he had a little more initiative to see me, it may have lasted longer.

But if you really like this guy, and he really seems to like you, why not give it a shot?

Two hours really isn't that bad. My best friend is in a relationship with a guy who lives 1400 miles away, and they never get to see each other.

I've been with my boyfriend just under two years now and he lives an hour and a half away and things between us are perfect. He drives to see me a lot of the time , but I get the train to him also. Its all about balance when you have a long distance relationship. I hope things work out for you guys :) x
