Why do my guy friends tease me of having a boyfriend, when they know I don't and not interested in having one?

Why do my guy friend tease me about have a boyfriend when they know that I don't have one and I'm not interested in having a boyfriend. It is so annoying. When I get angry they laugh at me like if they enjoy seeing me angry and behave liking like a kid. I thought know why he does that to me. He does it in front of his friend, most of the time. It annoting,. I don't want or need a boyfriend because guys are annoying when they turn to boyfriends I rather guys as just friends. I'm not a median or anything like that. I do like guys but I still don't want a boyfriend. But my guy friend don't have to tease me of having a boyfriend or call the guys I just talked to me boyfriend.

Maybe they think you're trying to keep your "supposed" boyfriend a secret. I don't know how you look, but boys just assume girls that are attractive (hot, beautiful, etc) in general have a boyfriend already. Which is also the reason why boys don't try to hit on extremely hot or sexy girls unless they just want the girl for their body.

Again, I don't know how you look, and I won't accuse you of anything. But there are many girls who say they aren't hot or attractive, but what really matters is the other person's point of you. You may not think you're not hot or attractive, but in reality, normal looking girls attract a lot of guy's attention. So to try help you with your problem with my opinion in hopes that it'll help you. I'd say it's because they're just teasing you because they find it entertaining. I understand you're posting on here because you've put up with it for a long time, but you'll have to keep trying until they stop or they finally understand you're serious.

I think they're doing it only because you react to it and hence they find it entertaining. Guys could call you a potato and continue with it if they find you're reacting to it - because it's fun then.
I'd suggest you just stop getting angry or simply ignoring it.

Well, maybe they find it amusing. They probably aren't aware that it hurts you. Seems like a small matter to be upset about. so telling them that it hurts you won't quite solve the problem. Just ignore and take it in good humor. The joke will die out
