I think I should start learning how to talk with my hands like an Italian.

Anyone also have dancing hands when they talk?
lol oh my... that's pretty impressive. It's almost like another language in itself
I'm super dynamic with my arms when I'm talking, which most of my friends tease me about quite a bit. The thing is, it's more with my arms, not quite as sophisticated with my fingers and all like that Italian. So yeah, a suppose myself being quite expressive with my upper limbs would contribute in large part to why I'm not too much of a phone person.
If you only get the audio part from me, you've already lost at least half the message I'm trying to convey.
Interested in learning some of that intricate Italian hand gestures?
Don't even have to learn Italian no more , just need to learn how they moved their hands eh?
ahhah that's hilarious. Those Italian must be some clever people.. how innovative to develop a whole new subset of ASL when you ain't got the time to learn a different spoken language.
That first umm.. emotion? he demonstrated totally brings to mind how I'd imagine a table full of Italian sitting with their beers at a bar during a World cup game.
How they manage to not get in each other's way with all those gestures is really a feat of humanity!
Not me, but Peter Griffin does when he has a mustache.
When I'm pissed my hands are moving like crazy lol.
No, I don't. I don't mind when it's someones culture to do that, but I find it really fucking annoying when someone wants to emphasize how sincere they are with their bullshit so they gesticulate as if to drill it into my skull. I'd like to sit them down and make them place their hands on the table and say the same thing but without moving their hands, if they moved their hands I would smash them with a hammer. But what I would like to do and what's socially acceptable are conflicting ideas, so I just quietly bubble with resentment... for now.
I don't make a lot of arm movement, but I move my torso around a lot..
Wut?
Torso movement?
Are you dodging bullets Matrix style?
That is a REALLY weird way to talk lol but k

The only way to stop me from talking with my hands is to CUT OFF MY ARMS
Make some room when I talk. Almost knocked over a few glasses.
Nah, I keep my arms to my sides like a LEGO human when I talk. 😳
It's not only Italians who speak like that. I'm Greek and I do it too
I'm part Italian. Sometimes I talk with my hands without even realizing it.
