I would swoon, in the context of "sister" being said as in "you are my comrade", it is an expression of solidarity with other women; to me, an expression of deep love, not only romantically but of caring/compassion, yeah my heart would skip a beat if a lady said this to me tbh

I don't know, but when one of my close friends' liked me he got super pissed when I called him that.
He told me straight up that he wasn't my brother and to not think of him like that, lol.
